About Ari Ashe
Ari Ashe is a senior editor at the Journal of Commerce covering ports in the Southeast, intermodal rail, and trucking. Before joining the Journal of Commerce in 2018, he was a reporter with Transport Topics. He began his career in local news covering commuter transportation in Washington DC. He is a regular guest on SiriusXM's Road Dog Trucking Channel on rail and trucking topics. He won a Regional Edward R. Murrow award for investigative journalism. He is the author of the Intermodal Savings Index and Intermodal Service Scorecard, and co-chair of the Journal of Commerce's Inland 2024 conference, September 30 to October 2 in Chicago.
