Episode description

In 1976, a young mother was abducted, raped, and tortured by a faceless attacker in Park Hills, KY. For the next 40 years, the survivor was haunted by the attack, until two detectives gave her case new life while investigating a cold case murder. Though the cases weren't ultimately related, they were both solved thanks to faith in God, law enforcement, and a determination to find answers.   Detective Coy Cox of the Boone County Sheriff's Office leads Kentucky's only full-time cold case investigative unit. He details his investigative work on the cases and explains how he was able to bring answers to two families, four decades later.   For any tips or information about a case, contact Detective Cox at (859) 334-4807.
