[00:00] Welcome back to the Focus B show. This is Katie Sudddart here aka the focus b. And on this show I interview high performers and leaders around the world to discover their secrets on peak performance, productivity, mindfulness and leadership. So if you want to take your performance and your leadership to the next level, then you're in the right place. Listen up and connect with the magic.

[00:36] And now this is it. We have reached the very last episode of season four of the Focus B show on tea and pie. How to master your time, your energy, your attention in order to have greater profit, impact and expertise in your business and in your life. And as a conclusion, I would like to go through the philosophy that's behind this concept of tea and pie. So in the previous episode, I already gave an overview of all the different topics we've been through, all the different topics that have been covered, also super curious to hear which ones have been most impactful for you and which ones have had the greatest change impact, influence on your life and on your business. And also feel free to drop me a line on social media and let me know what type of topics you'd like me to cover, which ones you feel you are still stuck with and you're not mastering or managing. And even if this is a topic I've already covered, such as procrastination or mindfulness or finding balance, let me know what are your struggles that I haven't covered and how I can support you further with this. I'd be happy to do a few more episodes on them. So the whole philosophy really for this entire season was looking at the relationship there is between, first of all, between your time, your energy and your attention and how they influence each other. Because too often in life we focus on areas separately and we don't connect them and correlate them and see how they influence each other. In the case of time, energy and attention, for instance, it is pretty obvious once you definitely work in this field, that if you have more attention and you're more focused, this will contribute to greater levels of energy, because you'll be single tasking and you won't have information overload and this will support you further to give more results, get more things done in less amount of time. Similarly, if you're working on your time management and you have clear boundaries in place and you master your thoughts and emotions about time, this will have an impact on your energy levels. And so the auto sort of correlation between all of these themes is something that I feel very strongly about and something that I've noticed in my personal life and with my clients makes a huge amount of difference. And the reason I created this entire season is not only to support you in optimizing your time and having more energy in your life, but it's also because once you are a master of a tea of time, energy and attention, it definitely has a ripple effect on your profit, because you are more focused, you are more energized. When you show up, you manage your time in a more effective way that leads to more profit and you have a greater impact on the world and contribution. And these two aspects, profit and impact in particular, are what I feel are the pillars of a business. If you're able to generate a profit, that's your oxygen. And if you're able to impact, that's what you're giving. And so it's really about growing your business aligned and with integrity. And so you generate the profit so you can live and your business can grow. And then this supports you further to have an impact on the world, to contribute to people around you. And expertise is really because this is where, especially if you're working in your zone of genius, and as you know, that was an episode in the energy series. If you're working in your zone of genius and you're increasing your performance and your leadership, then this will impact your expertise and this will have an influence on you being an expert in your field. So the whole concept here was really to look at these correlations and then go into detail for specific aspects of each one. And this is why I did six or seven episodes for each time. Energy, attention, profit, impact and expertise to cover what I felt were some of the interesting aspects or some of the things that could help you and support you to master your time, to have more energy every single day, to be more attentive. And by attentive, I mean focused and yes, and to gain profit, impact and expertise. Obviously, these are not from any other framework. This is a framework I've created using different tools that are available. And when I am using tools from other people, I quote them. For instance, in profit first. It's based on the book Profit First by Mike Michelowic. In high performance. I talk about the high performance habit from Brendan bashard. So when I'm using terms that are linked to other resources, I quote them. And otherwise. It's a mixture of what I have learned throughout the years as a coach and in my business and with my clients. What I feel has supported me to gain time, although gaining time makes no sense, but to master my relationship with time, to have more energy and be more focused and the different interesting tools that have supported me, to be more profitable, to have a greater impact and to improve my expertise. So these were all tools and ideas and concepts that I put together in this framework of Tea and Pi. I'd already thought of the term Tea, time, energy and attention. And I've also thought of it in terms of thought, emotions and actions. And Pi came to me actually on Pi Day which is the 14 March, because for a while now I've been learning the digits of pi to 1000 digits. I learn them, then I forget that I start again. I use a memory palace, I'll probably do an episode on that. But on Pi Day I realized the pi could stand for profit and impact, because this is when I realized what matters in business. And I thought, well, you have to make a profit because the business has to live. And then why make a profit? Well, it supports you to have greater impact. And I thought, if all of my focus is put on profit and impact, I can't really go wrong. If I'm earning a profit, which is sustaining the business alive, keeping me also alive. And this is supporting me to have a greater impact and contribution on the world. Really, that's all that really matters. And so I came to realization that pi could stand for profit and impact. And then I thought of T and Pi and Pi with an E, adding the term expertise. So this is how I came to T and Pi. And it's really because I do feel that they are all correlated. So it wasn't just an invented framework for the sake of it, it really gradually built itself up. This is also something I cover more in depth in my one on one VIP coaching and also in my group coaching. So if it's something that you're interested in and you want to cover it more specifically for your own case and your own situation, please be in touch. You can reach me on any form of social media. It's also in the show notes on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook under the focus B or Katie Stoddart. And I'd be happy to help you further. And if I can't help you, I'm happy to put you in touch with other coaches that I know and other people that I know that might be able to support you for that exact aspect of your business or your life that you're working on. Have a wide network of coaches, and I'm always happy to relate and put you in touch with other coaches too. So that was it really, for the whole tea and pie I've really enjoyed making this season. It's the first time I do daily episodes, so I hope that you've enjoyed them, I hope that you've managed to implement them as part of your routine, listening to one every day. And I'm also very curious to hear your feedback. Again, you can write to me on social media or on my website, thefocusbee.com, and I'd be super curious to hear which episodes you've enjoyed most. Which ones have you started to implement, what results have you seen? Because it really is all about implementation. Like I say, transformation happens with implementation. And so this is what I'd love to hear and know and support you further in your journey with this, as I love all of this. As you can probably tell, I think I show my enthusiasm for the topics pretty highly and yes, so I hope that you've enjoyed them. And as of now, the following season, which is season five of my podcast, will continue as the previous season, which is one interview and one solo show every week Tuesdays and Thursdays. So you can continue tuning into the podcast that way and feel free to share it with friends, family members, people that you think will get a benefit and will enjoy listening to this podcast though. Thank you so much. If you followed the whole season, amazing. Once more, I'd love to hear which episodes you've liked most and which episodes you'd like me to cover in the future. It'll give me great ideas and if it's something I've already covered before, I'd be happy to forward you the previous episode that covers it in detail. Thanks again and wishing you fantastic day and kicking off season five on the next episode.

[10:46] Thank you so much for tuning in today to the Focus Be Show. I would absolutely love to hear your feedback, so let me know in an Apple review or YouTube comment what was most valuable for you and feel free to share this episode with a friend or a family member.
