But can it actually meet Matt’s lofty expectations? Then, on any other weekend, Guillermo Del Toro’s latest film, ‘Nightmare Alley’ dropped to little fanfare. The former Best Director and Picture winner delivers his adaptation of a little known, but classic film noir from 1947. Does Del Toro imagination improve on the original, or was it better leaving well enough alone? There’s the big releases on Physical Media, featuring the Streaming and Straight to DVD Picks of the Week, likely delivered by elves since we fired all the interns.
