Ellyse was 16 when first selected to represent Australia in Cricket, the youngest ever to play Cricket for Australia male or female, 13 days later she pulled on a Matilda's jersey and made her Aussie Soccer Debut. She is the only person ever to have played for Australia in both cricket and Soccer World Cups. In December 2020, the ICC staged a special edition of its annual awards ceremony to recognise the best players of the past ten years.
