Episode description

Fall in the Mountains. Though the views can be riveting, the world still revolves, and the stories of good and evil, right and wrong, continue. The fall of 1963 may be a good example.

"History repeats itself."  This quote is attributed to both Marx and Churchill.  Both are correct to a point.  Marx stated that history repeats itself, first as tragedy, the second time as farce. Church Hill pointed out that if we don't learn from history, we will repeat it." Both men were correct to a point. An incident in the fall of 1963 in Madison County, NC, showed this may be true.
