Episode description

Today’s episode is a little different. Normally I would do an interview style episode, but in light of the murder of George Floyd and the racism in America, it’s time for me to take a step back and pass the mic over to my friends in the film industry that are Black. Today you will hear from 7 amazing, passionate, and creative artists. They each have a unique story, a unique perspective, and a unique call to action for you, the listener. It’s time for change in the film industry and in the arts in general.

55:52- Kelvin “KJ” Rhodes is an actor who has gotten the chance to perform all over the country. For his MFA in Acting, his thesis was about diversity training and how to work with Black actors. For more information about his thesis or if you’re interested in having him do diversity workshops, he can be reached at kmrhodesII@hotmail.com. I have attended one of his workshops and they are amazing, I highly recommend it!
