Episode description

Before we launch into a discussion about childhood wounds & 8s, we think it's important to introduce an intriguing theory called Object Relations. It suggests that we formed our type structure (in all its quirky glory) in relationship to the ways our caregivers failed to provide either the Nurture or Protection function. We explore yet another set of triads: Frustration, Attachment and Rejection. But, we dig a little deeper into what this means for 8 brains as they're shaped in those first few years. RESOURCES: The Triads (Frustration, Attachment & rejection) // Big Hormone Enneagram Episode 36 (Object Relations explained. See Episodes 36. 37 and 38)
