Two time World Champ and Prisons Manager for "Boats Not Bars" Imogen Walsh and John McAvoy, who spent 10 years behind bars for armed robbery and is now the only Nike sponsored ironman triathlete having set multiple erg records whilst on the inside.
We talk about John's own story, the transformative powers of rowing when ut comes to rehabilitation and explore the "Boats not Bars" project. Steve sheds a light on the Hammersmith Bridge blockade....
Fulham Reach Boat Club is a charity that exists to deliver Rowing for All. They believe that everyone in society should have the chance to get on the water and learn the true meaning of teamwork, focus and confidence.
