The insidious nature of selfish desire, obstructs the path God has put before us. Greed transforms into a monstrous force when the desire to take overshadows the noble act of giving. As it says in Proverbs 28:25-26 “A greedy person stirs up a fight, but whoever trusts the Lord prospers. Whoever trusts his own heart is a fool. Whoever walks in wisdom will survive.“ Let wisdom remind us to navigate the delicate balance between selfishness and selflessness on this journey.
