What is up everybody? And Welcome to the Enchanter is a Minecraft podcast, but today it's not a Minecraft podcast. It's a cookie podcast. Why do I say? You may ask because they were talking about talking about the beloved game Cookie Clicker. Cookie Clicker might seem like an innocent clicking game, but it goes deeper deeper. So you start out and you're just clicking the cookie and you click a fifteen times and nope, you can buy a little
finger to click the cookie for you. And you keep clicking this cookie and you get you buy some grandmas to make the cookies. You get some cookie farms, you get some cookie mines, you get to upgrade those. You eventually get some cookie factories, and you continue to get cookie temples. But then you see a sugar lump and you're like, m a sugar lump. And then you click on the farms and you upgrade them. And now if you have a garden and you can spend money to
make stuff off of the garden. And once you get another sugar lump, you click on your bank because your cookie banks. H huh, the stock market, the cookie stock market. Now, let's say you want to click on your temples right now, there's a cookie pantheon, and all you click on your cookie wizard towers and upgrade those two. Now you are a wizard with cookie spells, and if you click the magical Golden Cookie, you get special powers like making cookies faster.
And you continually upgrade these until you're traveling to alternate dimensions and you're time traveling back in time for cookies, and eventually the Grandmas decide to turn evil. The Grandmas want the cookies for themselves, so they become evil Grandmas trying to thwart your plans of being the most powerful cookie producer in the world. And eventually these Grandmas summon the Grandma Apocalypse, where they summoned beasts called wrinklers to steal your cookies. And the leader of them all is
one hundred and seventeen years old. These Grandmas, they're very old. I don't know how they're starting an evil uprising at the most of them being above age one hundred and their youngest crew member is eighty three, quite not age
for you to be them to be young. But eventually, once you upgrade, you can get Chance Makers, who doesn't magically make cookies out of thin air, but Eventually you can get the final most bestest cookie producer you can buy yourself, and yourself re replicates this process in every known universe to continually make even more cookies, even more grandmas, even more farms, even more used. And as you do this,
you realize that you can now ascend. And once you start to ascend, you can get special buffs and now the special achievements, like you have to make tons of money off the cookie stock market, and some of these are so impossible that only a few people have managed to ever conquer the cookiepers So yeah, I've been laying cookie licker. That was an intro ish kind of so you know, I clicked the cookie. It got the upgrades.
Right now, I have cookie I've gotten to time machines, I have some portals, and I have some prisms that turn light into cookies. The grabb Apocalypse has not occurred for me yet. There's not much talk about today. I just thought I might as well post an episode because I know you guys have been want episodes and I don't want to follow off again. So let's really read some reviews because I've been wanting to read your views every week. So we're gonna do that. Uh, we have
