There are so many reasons I don't buy packaged potting soil or packaged compost but there is a new reason and that is Legionnaires' Disease.

Only a few countries have requirements to put warning labels on potting soil and compost packaging.    Here in the US I didn't even know this was a thing!

Yikes!!  Is this really a thing?  Legionella Bacteria is not something that has something I thought I would be talking about in regards to gardening.

I have picked up the phone to let people know that I love that are gardeners to warn them, especially if they are immunocompromised.
