As we consider the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are inclined to ask 'why' this is happening. I believe the more important question is, "What?" What is happening in our communities and around the world? And what should our response be as disciples of Jesus? What is a biblical perspective on this pandemic? And what should be we saying to one another and to our friends, neighbors, and coworkers about what we are going through?
We know that God commands His blessing on unity, and as the World watches us, the Church; I believe we have an opportunity to respond rightly in the midst of differences in order to see the greatest harvest and Kingdom increase the world has known!
The pandemic was hard because it forced us to be alone. But in our culture, we need to learn the benefits of being silent and knowing that God is God. During the pandemic, we also learned that we really need others. Isolation makes us sick. And the church is really a family and a community, not just a place we attend. We need authentic relationships to stay healthy.

Even still, people had trouble believing that He was who He said He was, because of what they knew of him in the flesh.The flesh is a veil that can hinder our faith, but God is releasing grace to believe in the truth of His word, and the reality of who we are in Him.
