Episode description

This is the first part of a multi-part series breaking down the history and intention of social media. How did we get here? Social media is so interwoven into our behavior and lives today that it is sometimes difficult to remember where it came from and what it was intended for. Gus helps me trace the chronological history of social media from the invention of the printing press in 1455 to the emergence of instagram in 2010. The last twenty years have catapulted us head first into a world moving at the speed of thought. We explore the good, the bad and the ugly.
