You know, once we get it going, we're pretty good. But for some reason, it seems like there's times where, you know, we just struggle to get it going. What was what happened to your ankle? And what did they do with the sideline? Um? Yeah, I think it was just a slight sprain. They just taped it, gave it some support. Is there anything in your mind you come back in? No me, we did the same angle. Yeah, sort of at a loss for words obviously. Is that
the move to the rest of the guys? And how do they get on that same page because it seems visibly it's too Yeah. Um, you know, just come back to work, you know, keep grinding, keep putting in the time. Um. You know, I think the good news is it's close. Um. You know, a couple of these games we've had opportunities to win and just haven't finished. Um, you know, but it's not like or light years away from getting things to where they need to be. You know, I think
it's just some small details here and there. Um, you know, we've just got to get everyone's just got to get on the same page. Can you describe the who this locker room right now? Because I wanted to give a huge hole. You know you didn't expect it. Ye can you describe it? Um? Yeah, I think everyone's a little frustrated right now. Um. You know this is obviously now where we wanted or expected to be after week four. Um. But you know, just knowing this group of guys for um,
the short period of time I do. Um, you know, I don't think anyone's gonna quit. I don't think anyone's heads down right now. You know, I think everyone I thought this week we had a great week of practice. I thought the energy levels were great. Um. You know, I think we'll be back to work Tuesday with the same attitude. You know, we know we're close, we know we can get on a roll. Um. You know, it's just a matter of kind of cleaning up some of those small details. Um, you know, so they don't come
back to buy us what you need. I don't feel more today. I mean, you guys act like we don't want to throw the ball down field. I think it was just, you know, we saw something that we could take advantage of this week, and we called a couple of plays, you know, trying to get those posts this week. Yeah, I mean, you know, obviously anytime that you can get big plays like that. Um, you know, they're kind of
game changers, momentum changers, you know. I think the one to Coop, you know on the third quarter kind of got us going. You know, it had brought some energy to that sideline. Sam first things had at the tifty yard line four point leading the fourth quarter and it was three and out. How disappointing that to kind of put something together there. Very disappointing. Obviously, we felt like at that time we had, you know, all the momentum. We felt like we could go down and score and
put the game away, and just didn't do it. Through four games, how would you assess your level play? Um? Yeah, I think there's been some good. I think there's been some bad, you know obviously, you know, I think I'm starting to get more comfortable out there. Um, but you know, still too many steaks, Still too many things that need to be linked up. Put so many expectations on this offense because you feel like I couldn't sembol it better on paper and you see something drop passage? Is that
starting to wear on that? Do you think that the outside expectations and pressures on this offense? I don't think so yeah, I think at this point, when you're one at three, I think those expectations are gone. Um. You know, obviously, I think there were a lot of expectations early. I think that you know, as a group, you know, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to score, um, you know, every time we touched the football. But you know, I think we just gotta take a big breath, you know,
relax and just go have fun. Obviously you can work that. Yeah, Um, I just missed a little behind them right there. Um, that's why I like that back, Sam. It's it's almost the only games it's been one half in each game, and that the whole game is have you figured it out as a team? Figured it out a lot. You can't put two halves together. I mean obviously not because we did it again today. Um. You know I said earlier, you know, if we knew what the answer was, we'd
get it fixed. Um. You know, somehow we do have to find out what the answer is. And you know, it'd be great to play four quarters because you know, I think that we could really do some damage if we played for four quarters, which sort have been acted to change in personnel and the shifting on the offensive line on the offensive and you, Um yeah, I've got confidence all those guys. Um, you know, someone goes down,
it's next man up. I really didn't think about it much today, Tim, you said earlier about getting on the same page. You guys need to get to see what's the problem there. But um, you know, I think there's just you know, some small details here and there that you know, I have showed up in the past. You know, a couple of weeks that we've left opportunities on the field. Um, you know, I think it's just getting out then, you know, making sure that we're all seeing things the same way.
What happened to you? What happened to do the second half? Did you decided like I want to air it out to coach tell you or how did that work? Um? No, I mean it's not like we had any huge change in game plan at halftime. Um, you know, I think it's just what they presented in the second half was an emotional changes that time. What was the atmosphere like that?
Um yeah, I think we were all a little disappointed in the first half, but you know, we knew that it was still a two possession game, and you know, with our ability to score. You know, we didn't think that it was that big of a hole. And you know, we came out and got on a roll in the second half, took the lead. Didn't get you confidence thus
to know like you could finally like throw down the field. Yeah, absolutely, you know, I think I said earlier, you know, the past to Coop just seemed to kind of get us going. You know, it seemed to bring some energy to our sideline. All right, guys, thank you.
