One of yards. They still got Aaron Rodgers back there, Um, who's still playing at a high level. You know, obviously they're not necessarily getting the results that they want and wins. But when you if you take the scoreboard off of the tape and you just watch the game, Um, their their offense is still moving, the ball, is still putting up point, still doing something. So UM, I don't think their record necessarily reflects what they're doing offensively. So you see,
you see the same Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, I mean I feel like, you know, obviously the context of the games put a little bit more pressure on him to do some stuff. But um, you still see a guy that's very very accurate. Um, whether he's standing still in the pocket or he's mobile. Um, we just watched the clip today. He throws the ball seventy yards in the air. Um, so he's got still got the arm strength, he's got
the mobility, he's got the accuracies. Um. Obviously they're banged up at the running back musition, but they're finding ways to still put up points and get yards and make plays. So, uh, you know, pretty much the same that that we've seen over the last few years. A stretch where you look at the quarterbacks, you guys face. You know, you go from Eli who's won a couple of Super Bowls, to Matt Ryan, who's the top ranked quarterback in the league, to you know, Russell Wilson has won a Super Bowl.
This guy's won a Super Bowl flaccos one. I mean every week there's a guy's you know, a really accomplished quarterback. There's no there's no really in this division. I guess with your schedules, no down weeks. As far as the quarterbacks, your face, there are some guys who probably rather face. But you know, what's that challenge like for you guys as a as a defense, as a second there were to face just a top guy every week. We enjoy it. I mean we get a top receiver as well, it
seems like every week. Um, but we enjoy the challenge. And you know, Aaron Rodgers has been in the conversation of elague quarterbacks, you know, for as long as I've been in the league, um and so, and nothing's changed. Like I said, you turn on the tape and he's
still still playing at a high level. Um who And he's one of those guys that that can do at all you know, so you talk about you know, the Drew Brees and Brady, all these guys are talking about the accuracy what they do at the line of scrimmage, um, what they do from the pocket, And he's just as talented as those guys from the pocket. You talk about Russell Wilson and his ability to extend plays and and and get those big chunks, he does the same exact
thing and it's probably more accurate on the run. UM. So it's you know, it's it's a big task for us, but like I said, we're looking forward to it, um getting back in our stadium, UM, correcting some of the things. It'll be it'll be fun matchup for us and schedule almost bad blood before your team as you still still battle to try and maybe get a playoffs spot, and just look at the stole league out there for them, just being home and all much of well, I mean,
I think it. You know, it doesn't necessarily make it easier, but um, it definitely helps. Having uh to to get four out of the last six at home. UM, and what you're gonna need wins. It's it's it's a big deal, especially we've played really well at home. UM. So hopefully that training can continue, but you know we're gonna have to um, you know, show up weekend and week out. But but right now, UH, it's it's nice to come back home, UM against a team that's that's desperate. UM,
we're kind of desperate as well. So to have that advantage is or home field advantages, it's definitely a plus. But we gotta get it. We gotta get a crowd something to root for, and that's the only way it's an advantage games. I mean, these are high scoring games. Is it's a week and need your offense to help out to UM. No, I think we're we're we're built to win a game, UM, to win close games on special teams and defense, and our offense will be opportunistic.
So we think our offense can put up some points. But in no means that we think we're gonna go in here and have a shootout. I think defensively, we know we need to get some stopped, especially on third down and in the red zone, and keep just scoring to a minimum. UM. You know, that's obviously easier said than done. They got an offense that's been putting up points every week, so it's it's a tall task, and you know we're preparing, looking forward to to showing up
to give our team an opportunity to win. You look at the standing is just kind of figure out exactly what you guys need to do to get in to get to the full season. No, man, I mean it doesn't take rocket science, you know, to figure it out. It's two questions. Well really, one question do we have a chance? And if mathematically you still have a chance, then the solution is easy to just win. That's how you get in. You win. And so right now we still got a chance. So there's no need to look
at what other teams are doing. Who needs to do what we know? All we need to do is win and the rest of take care of yourself. And the only thing that we can control right now is this week, what we do to prepare for it, um, and and how we show up to that to that game on Monday Night. Receivers this year is Jordy completely back from the ACL Have you seen Randall Cobbs still playing? Yeah? I mean, well you know it's a little different. Um.
Their offenses has changed slightly. Um most likely because their their running backs have been so banged up. Um, it's changed the dynamic of their offense. But Jordy's still making plays on the outside. I think it has nine touchdowns, so still productive. He's not you know, necessarily making the the wild plays that we saw from the year before, um,
when before his injury. But he's still running good route, still getting separation, still catching the ball or doing a good job of throwing those back shoulder phase that you know they seem to do better than anybody else in the league. Um. Rental cobb Is is still one of those versatile players that they put in the backfield, put them in the slot, moving UM in and out. He's
still dangerous with the ball in his hands. Um. Like I said, I think that the way they use them or the style offense they've been playing recently, it's a little different. So they haven't been you know those fantasy uh you know leaders um that they that they were in years past. But they're still doing a really good job before. But it keeps coming up. Why is the defense so much more effective at home? The Eagles defense? UM? Well,
I mean it's simple. When you look at the tape of what we've done on the road usually, Um, you can find a bunch of plays in which we just shot ourselves in the foot, whether it'd be a blown assignment, uh, not fitting to run correctly. UM. You know, those those are things that, um, for whatever reason, have happened on the road. UM. At home, we play a lot more sound, even if we uh, when we do give up plays, it's usually an earned play. Somebody just flat out beats
us and we challenge it. And you know, with the way we play on defense, we can live with that. But when we just give up plays, UM, that's really hard to come back from. Especially we talked about on the road. M you were we were you here for that fifty three to twenty game. What was that year? First year in a Green Bay? Yep, anything you remember? Uh this convenient amnesia? All right, thanks guys, good, Thanks you
