Play very long, but obviously yeah, you know, I thought it's obviously good for that first unit to to go down and obviously score like they did. Uh. Um, you know, come out, come out, play play fast. You know, something that is exciting to know that they can they can do that and score earlier in the game. So, you know, still still evaluating, but it was good to see them, Uh good points out of that drift. Yeah, I thought, you know, um, his escapability was was right on point.

You know, he's obviously for a big guy, athletic and can move and uh feels the pocket extremely well and did a nice job you know, moving and finding finding the guys down the field. Show. Well, I tell you I thought Mac uh you know again, I gotta go back and look at the tape, but you know, just just general thoughts that it looked like he played played really well. You know, I had a nice catch and run for the touchdown and a couple of the big

catches in the game. So, um, you know, he's uh, he's the guy that uh you know we thought we were getting and uh he he started his preseason off off right, Uh not at this time. I gotta you know, we'll get him and check him out tomorrow. Just my discretion, you know, like I said during the week, and and uh just wanted to you know, we're not playing real games for a while and just get him as much

rest as possible. Yeah, I thought he thought he really stepped up and and once he got kind of got his legs under him, you know, he played, He played well, played hard, and then it was exciting to see him around the quarterback tonight too. It was a lot of passing. Was that part of paying to try to see a little bit of the game. You know, we struggled running the ball tonight and and uh so you know I tried to try to get some of the quick passing game going and and uh you know again you know,

some breakdowns up front. We just got to go back and evaluate. And you know, the beauty of it is it's preseason and uh, you know, we got a lot of guys in the game, and uh, we get a chance to evaluate from here on. He went for He talked during the summer about staying aggressive on fourth down. You went to lay a fourth with six, I believe on exactly around there for you something you went do

in the regular season or that just it's it. You know, Um, I went for a couple of fourth and six and fourth and sevens last year in a regular season, so you know, you don't rule it out. But at the same time, you know, um, this is a good opportunity to uh to really put it in the player's hands and let them execute and play and and uh, you know, I like to do the two point conversion as well, you know after the touchdown, and and uh, um you know we failed on that, so you know, things we

gotta gotta gotta clean up obviously. UM, but it really it really showed uh you know, UM, I think just the resiliency of the team and uh, the ability to uh to make plays when when they had to. And it was a little both again, I'll look at the tape and see, you know, I was a little blocked on the sideline. It it just it just looked like

it could have been a touch high. Um. But uh, you know those are those are plays that that both guys have to make and and uh, you know, we'll we'll look at it tomorrow and really on the plane going back and make those make those corrections. First series moving around. Yeah, you know, you know obviously you don't want him kind of moving around quite that much. But uh, I thought he did a nice job. You know, he

kept his eyes, his vision down field. He was able to avoid the rush and and and step up and deliver some nice uh some nice throws on the run and you know that just shows his athleticism and strengthen the pocket. And uh, I was exciting exciting to see that. Yeah again, you know the guy that we thought we were getting, uh, he really stepped up and and and

showed us something tonight. And uh, um, you know it's uh, it's it's great to to get these young guys as many reps as we can, you know, early in the preseason and get a good evaluation on the plan always to get cars and um, they were only going to get about a series, you know. Um it just so happened they finished that first one with a touchdown and

and made the decision to pull them out. So when you I'm sorry when you said you do you like going for two as a situation where you're off six nothing? Are those kind of big kind of situations that you want to do? You know, I got to continue to study that. Um. You know, there's there's there's uh, there's numbers that uh that say do it early in games. There's also you know, uh, you know, how how is it? How does it how does the defense play in the

in the low rid? You know obviously we're not game planning teams right now, but you know, how is how is the defense done at the two yard line? Are they is at their strength? You know, then you might might like to kick kick more extra points, but um, you know, I just I just felt going into this game that if we did score early that I was

going to attempt the two point conversion. And a lot of time again, another young player that uh, um, you know, we tried to put him in some receiver spots that put him in some running back spots and and and get them get him some touches early. And uh he's another one that uh you know, uh obviously we can utilize in and out of the backfield. And and uh I thought there were some good things he did. Obviously, you know, he put the ball on the ground a

little bit, but we'll clean that up. Uh. He he understands it, and uh, you know look forward to just kind of keeping keeping him going and bringing them up. See, you know, trying to be cautious with him coming out that shoulder and tied together to get well. Part of the part of the plan is you know, they they continue to throw and and uh and get their work done, whether it be in practice or even even uh uh tonight during pre game and and uh you know it listened.

They we've got a little bit, we've got some time, you know before we play, and and uh, I'm comfortable with with these two guys and the way they're working really kind of behind the scenes. Um and uh you know, just just get ready for Washington. And Parson said, Um, on your side of the ball, who were some you know guys that we haven't mentioned that kind of stud out of here. Well, I think Bryce Trags, you know,

had had a nice game tonight. He played, he played well. Um, you know, there were some times that Greg Ward stepped up, made some made some tough catches. Um. You know, we we did struggle in the run game obviously, but but I thought the Runners for the most part, really you know, uh, Corey did a nice job of just kind of cramming it in there and getting whatever he could he could get. Mac obviously, we talked about him, um, you know, and I thought, even even he's not the young player, but

he's a veteran guy. Matt, you know, stepped in there and got a lot of time, you know, and and uh, you know, it's it's exciting, you know, this time of year. These guys I can remember back when I played, I mean, preseason was was everything for me. And these guys get an opportunity. So I was excited to see these guys play. By h McGloin Mcgloind mcgloinne. Yeah, sorry, okay, thanks guys,
