Yet you continually surprised that with Tom Brady can give it the lack of weapons, he keeps losing. Yeah, I think that's what It makes him a special, very special quarterback and one of the quarterbacks it's always mentioned with one of the one of the greatest because he's able to get it done no matter who's at receiver, who's at running back. He's constantly, uh, constantly as a successful quarterback.
Do because I'm sure you're aware of what Malcolm Jenkins has said about it makes it hard to lead if if you only see your little room that you don't know what's being said to the rest of the defense about making corrections and so forth. How do you feel about that? Is it a different leadership I deal than you experienced in Houston? I think, uh, I think Malcolm you know, definitely has his opinion about how things could be ran, and he's probably been through that when he
was on other teams. And you know, everybody has their different style of how things are ran, how how corrections are handled. But how we hand our corrections here is you know, in the individual with the position. Coach you know handles their individual room. So like I know our room we had a rough meeting yesterday. Everything everything was
was hammered. Everybody you know had a had a tough We had a tough meeting because you know, everybody was held accountable in our room, and I know that goes for each of them, the outside backers, a D line, and also the defensive back room. So everybody is getting told what they need to be told. It's just a matter of us as players going out and you know, correcting our mistakes and going out and playing the way
we're capable of playing. So it doesn't matter to me who the message comes from, whether it's you know, Billy or you know your position coach, as long as the message gets across all or guys. It's the daily pace too. You know. He also spoke about needing to slow down and get some things straightened out. Do you ever feel that way? I think I think we're fine what we're doing. I'm sorry, Okay. Most of the mistakes mental or are they physical or fundamentals or just not Sunday guys are
tackling or blockers whether they should. I think most of the mistakes come from mentally. Mentally, that's whether it's anticipating what you're gonna see or what you're gonna get, or just mentally knowing where you need to be. I think physically guys are fine. It's just a matter of us, you know, being in a proper place, having a proper leverage on the coverage, or having a proper leverage on a block. As long as those things are sound and everything else will fall in place, guys will hustle and
get to the ball. But we just have to be you know, I want everybody to be perfect on the technique, which is not gonna happen every time. Nobody will play a perfect game. But as long as guys are as consistent as possible and everybody else is hustling, will be fun of all the good things that's that's said about Frady,
What's something that like only a linebacker can understand? Uh, I mean, as for as linebackers, I think, you know, he does as good a job of any as far as the play acts and kind of making making the linebacker suck up on the run and then just dumping the ball right over linebacker's head. So he's just I mean, and he does play that that matchup game, you know they're gonna try to get receivers matched up on linebackers as much as they can or get linebackers out of
the box and man covers. Most of their games is all about all about match up. We go at the inside linebacker position. Is everybody getting on the same page about staying where they need to stay and being, you know, doing the job that they're designed to deal in each play. Oh yeah, Like I said, in our inside linebacker room, we had our corrections on Monday or I mean on Tuesday of how you know, we have to play better, and you know it starts with us. We haven't played
as well as we need to play. So we feel like the defense goes as we go. So it's inside linebackers, our group. We have to play better, said yesterday's excited to play this game because you play the Patriots, you really have to raise your level. Yeah, play. I mean it's just a good thing to be playing a team that's sitting there ten on one knowing that you have to raise the level. Yeah. I think I think it's a good thing that we face the Patriots. They're a
great team. Everybody understands they're a great team and they've been great for a long time, and it's it's a great challenge for us. We've been down a few the past few weeks, so I feel like the energy is definitely up. You know, guys are excited to go and play the Patriots, and I feel like we'll have a really good out and against these guys. It seems their offensive changes each week, So how do you prepare for that?
You just have to be sounding your rules and your assignments and you see what they give us through out throughout the game. But as we know, they'll change things on the sideline through the game, So you just have to be really flexible when you play the Patriots because they change, so we have we may have to change some stuff on the sideline, So everybody just has to be, you know, real flexib able to see, you know, how
they're going to attack us. Are you aware that the officiating crew and still in your game, was um kind of demoted after what happened in the Cardinals Bengals game and they were actually taking off the primetime game this week, nasire, I don't. I don't keep up too much with the with the else ything. All right, Thanks guys, thanks, thank you. I don't have a fam right now.
