But UM, if I still have no touchdowns right now when we get to win, you know, I'm still this is happy Dallas from when you first got here and we're you know, met Carson after draft to get him here and in today and you see a guy nine months after race he also has been doing what he did with you out there today. What's impressed you most about him during that time? Man, that's tough. You know, he's uh, one of the hardest workers.
I know, he loves the game. He wanted to get back here as soon as he could. Um. But really none of his surprised me. You know, I got to see him playing college quite a bit. I got to see him play last year, the year before that or whatever. And you know, he's a he's a competitor. You know, he's out there trying to run over linebackers. He's out
there diving for first dollas for us. You know, Um, he's great to have someone with that passion running, you know, and the way he controls the game back there, it's it's incredible. But nothing really surprised me. Um, you know, I know he's a great player and he's gonna continue do great things. You know, therapy and made up a lot of clock. He kept moving the ball um as he's saying the guys, who was a message? Screwbout that drive and he kept you guy. You know, really we
just needed to score. You know. We weren't gonna be happy kicking a field goal and potentially going to overtime or whatever. We knew we had to get a touchdown, you know, and uh, he just basically, you know, someone's got to make a play. He's gonna give you the opportunities and someone just has to make a play. Dallas Kelsey was saying, there was a naked bootleg I guess last week where Carston was running the scout team in practice and he took off and at the dead spread
and he was like, all right, he's looking good. Do you remember what do you remembering that play? Did did you see that one. Yeah, you know he did take the edge. And you know he's a he's a great athlete. He's a fast, big husky guy. You know. So um and his I mean obviously from the way he played today, you can obviously tell his leg is healthy and you know that was gonna be no question. But uh, you know, he's just a great player and he's really good.
