He had a new guy that was kind of thrown in there too, right, this guy a couple of days ago. So yeah, yeah, Brett, we were talking. He did a great job. You know, for him to come in. You know, he didn't he didn't pass out in college, and so for him to come in and play like he did that was that was Also it was really impressive for him to come and do that. So I was happy for him. What about the Nate, how did her hand old center? I mean, it seems like he's done pretty well. Yeah,

he played, right, He's done it really well. I didn't know he hadn't played until last week when somebody told me that. But uh, he's done really well, and uh it's cool to see him continue to get better. He snapped it too. Oh yeah, jeezus should ask enough for you. But I mean, but did this at all? What did this remind you? Like, all these different guys kind of rolling in there. I don't know if it reminded me of anything, but but I think for all of us, he's good to get in there and get game reps

um and and play for sixty minutes. Again. I try to take it one play at the time and make the best out of that play. So what were you pleased with throughout the course of the preseason that you did and what are some of the things that concerned you. Yeah, I felt like I was more involved than you know in terms of special teams. So I was glad that I was able to get in and get those reps in kind of see where I'm at and see where

my game is at. So I would say that was my biggest UM area that I was I was I was proud of to improve in UM just being versatile, adding you know, not just being good at one thing, being able to you know, have to first game in my game. So I thought that was pretty good getting better at just UM, continuing to continue to you know, have a mindset of counting it downhill, and uh, you know,

being more aggressive. I think that was something that I did a good job of working on as we got you know, through our practices, and I'm going to continue to work on. You had to go through the waiting games just a year ago. Yeah, this time around, is it easier to him goals? Are you more relaxed about the situation or is it just as as tense as it was a season Again, I think just with that experience,

I know how this thing goes. I know that it's gonna be some tough decisions made, but also know that, you know, my opportunity is gonna come wherever that may be. And you know, having that experience, knowing, you know, when you get that to take advantage of, gives me a little bit more confidence. Um. You know, I'm blessed to be a part of this organization east and every day. Um and if it's not here, it's gonna be somewhere.

So just continue just to stay focused on what I can control and take advantage of any opportunity that's given to them. You cannon for Joel, Finally that you were going to show up on the pads coming do you thank you you did that and show up that you can be a physical player. Yeah, yeah, you know, I played my game and you know, just you know, just did my assignments, did my job and when the plays

come to you gotta make them. And yeah, I feel like, you know, didn't mess a lot of tackles, miss you know, a lot of fits. And that's kind of what happens in the Pats one year. You gotta be able to fit the ride. And you know, I'll be able to make tackles one on one and up in space, and I think I did that pretty well for these last four games. You kind of left a known quantity up in Canada for a little known um. Did you think of it as a risk or you know, I mean

you knew there was security up there. I guess, yeah, you know, I guess one of the few people that knows you'll be playing for water Shore. I think you know, no one does sign me and that happens. Uh, there's nine teams in the CFL that I think I would love to have me and I know one Swecia Calgary.

But you know, really enjoy have mechnics. So to have that is, you know, it's very special to be able to have kind of a whole country behind you just kind of supporting you, and then if things don't work out, you know, welcoming you back and think, you know, not a lot of guys have the opportunity, but you'd rather be here, Yeah, I would. You know, I'd rather not have my phone ring this weekend and just prepared for Washington on Monday. What's sat are you gonna be like

for you? What set are gonna be like for you long, you know, I think you know I did everything I could. I think your time is these this last six weeks, the last you know, six months. I guess you could say. So it's now, it's just, you know, a waiting game. I feel like I put my best report, and that's all you can ask for from yourself. I'm confident with how I played and just let the chips follow the club. If it came down to practice club versus Canada, how

would you with it? Yeah, we'll see when. We'll see if that happens. When then decided to
