Um, you know it's it's the next game up. Obviously, these division games are huge, especially the situation where right now this division, you know, um, everybody's got a winning record right now, so all these games are are important. Um and for us especially to to kind of bounce back. You know, it was a tough loss on Sunday, Um, but you know, I'm really looking forward to it, that's for sure. Record though, does that does that concern you at all? We just we just gotta find a way

to win close games. I think that's what it boils down to. And uh, you know, I don't know if it's so much a road or a home thing. It's just we gott to find a way to win close games. Team are to do that to put teams away. You know, it just comes with trial and air. You know. Obviously it's frustrating. Um, we just got to execute down the down the wire. You know, it's pretty plain and simple. We can't turn the ball over and we just got to execute laden games. And um, I think we'll be

fine once we start doing that. All losses, you've had a drive there not the win, more tie the game at the ending at the pod. Each time something happening late games that he is restricting you guys, or that's been a problem. Um, I don't think anything specifics happening. We're just not executing, you know. I think it's playing simple. Um, But like you said, it is frustrating, you know, as an offense to have chances, I'm whether you're down or tied, whatever may be, to to win at the end, um,

and to not come through. It's definitely frustrating as an offense. So, UM, you know we're looking forward to bouncing back from that. Um, you guys can you guys can check out the history on those. But uh, yeah, it's it's frustrating to have late game chances and to not finishing a practice from Triggs. And what about him intrigues you if the coaches choose to put him up at some point? Yeah, he can run,

you know. I think you guys see it out there when the little bit you guys are out there, I mean, the guy can fly. Um, so it'll be interesting to see. I think he's, um, a pretty smart kid, you know. I think he's he's picked up things pretty quickly here and UM, you know, I'm excited for him to get his opportunity he had one pass that traveled beyond fifteen years in a game against Dallas. Going back and you know, rewatching it, what did you say conclusions did you come to? UM?

It was again, it's kind of the same thing I said, UM after the game. You know, it was just kind of the game it was. UM. Some of it was the play calls, but other times it was just really the the defense was dropping. You know, they were playing pretty soft zone coverage or whatever may be. And UM, you know it's one of those things you got to take what the defense gives you. UM. And so yeah, it's kind of frustrating, you know, you want to take those shots. But at the same time, UM, I thought

we were playing pretty efficient football. We just didn't finish. If you heard Jordan just now talk about the why do we serve a group and you know you just said it, I don't if you're coming into the room, he said, as a group, I feel like we need to play a lot better, including myself. When you hear that, what's your reaction? And do you agree? I think as an offense, we only need to play better. You know, I think we all got to take it upon ourselves

to um to play better. To play more effective, especially latent games, to finish kind of have that killer instinct, you know. Laton games is the biggest thing that's getting us. And um, yeah, as an offense, I would agree with him. As an offense, we all got to do better. Important easy to take those shots down even if they're not, or to just sort of stretch out to de Yeah,

you know, it's it's funny. Um, it's all about the flow of the game, you know, and obviously it's important at times, but you want to you want to take calculated risks, you know. I think that's partially the offense we are is just kind of stay on the field, move the chains, um, take the chances when they're there, and you know, some games they just haven't been there. Um, So obviously it is important, but um, it's not something

that's gonna make or break us. You know, I don't think we'd have these discussions if we had just finished the game, um on Sunday. So Uh, it's it's something we just gotta We just gotta make those plays when they're there. Go along with your personality as a quarterback, I mean, you had a reputation a little bit of a gun slinger, coming in and you know, now you're

matriculating the ball down the field a little bit. Yeah, I mean it again, it's kind of I've learned already, Um, to just take what's there, you know, to know when to be aggressive, to know when to take those chances. Um, obviously I want to throw the ball down field. I think every quarterback wants to throw the ball down field. But um, at the same time, you got to take

what's what's there? What he high? They targeted player that hasn't really in case at least, what needs to be done to get him more targets one po Um, you're kind of hard to say. Hard to say. Obviously we know the weapon he can be and the weapon he is in this offense. Um, but but we feel confident We've got a lot of guys that can make place, and so I think it all just starts with with me just getting the ball through these guys, you know.

And uh, but you know, we know that he's still a really good player and we're gonna get him involved. Seemed to like a lot of cover too, or at least two high. Do they what do they do off of that? Do they always stay soft like that? They really like to mix it up. You know, they like to do a little bit of everything, and um, you'll see if something starts working early in games, they'll like to stay with it. So it'll be it'll be interesting to see what they're they're kind of approach, you know.

Just in recent games, they they've really done a little bit of everything. So, um, it'll kind of be a feel for the game as we go, kind of what kind of defense they're they're playing against, says the quarterback of the team. Do you talk to Josh Hoff about his situation and focus going forward? Do you have a take on discipline and whether there's enough of it on the team. Yeah, you know, I haven't really got a

chance to talk real in depth with Josh. Obviously it's disappointing to hear the news, but at the same time, UM, I don't really know many of the details. I don't want to speculate. I know Josh had a chance to address it. I think coach Peterson did as well, So I'm not going to really go much more in depth on that. Not throwing deep currently off does that make it tougher for guys underneath like Jordan and Zad to kind of you know, have roots and mover and everything.

Hard to say, you know, it's hard to say. I think the reason we're not going deep ist because they're playing soft and so sometimes that opens opens up things underneath. So it's kind of, um, kind of just is what it is a little bit just talking to Jordan a little eler and he was saying that, you know, sometimes when you do get in the fourth quarter and you have a league like it had to, somebody gets lost sometimes maybe relax a little bit. Is that maybe part

of it too? Boy? I don't really think so. I know for me it's not you know, and I look around the guys in the in the room that I don't really think that's the mentality many guys have. UM, but I think we do. Got to kind of learn it and kind of find our killer instinct, you know, find how we can finish games. Um, whether it's coming from behind her or putting teams away. Our student of the game is is Eli a quarterback that maybe he studied or washer did a particular affection for before we

got to the league. Um. You know, I've seen him play for for a long time. Obviously he's been a really good player. UM. On one couple, a couple of Super Bowls, So I have a lot of respect for him. Um, one of one of the number of guys that I've watched over the years, that's for sure. Or stay too more question about person. Um you can see Kelsey, Uh, I think a little bit of probably game laster pies. But he's doing that. Is there any h bought year process on ball holes and how to get around that?

He's a little bay not really, you know with Kelsey, I kind of know. I think we all know what we're getting with him. You know, he's a tough son of a gun. And Um, the guy's gonna he's gonna fall fall in the field before he comes off the field. You know, he's gonna give it, give it as all um, and you know he doesn't lose focus. You know, he might be banged up, you know, it's football. We're all kind of out there banged up at times. But you know,

the guy's been been really rock solid for us just about. Yeah. I think the biggest thing he's just doing it, you know, going out there and um and really just doing it. And I you know, I know that the type of guys that we have, I don't think we have a lot of guys that are mentally weak. I think we have guys that can get the job done and do have that killer instinct in him, and I think we just got to learn to learn how to find it. Yes, what's the problem? Yeah, I don't. I don't think there's

a huge problem. I think it's just a couple of them. Um, I know he talks to his glove was getting really wet, and um, we were going pretty quick temple on a couple of them. So it's kind of hard to speculate. It's one of those things you don't you don't want to overdo it, you don't want to make it too big a deal about it. But you know, we're both we're both all its communicating and we have a good relationship with that. So so we'll be squared away soon enough. Thanks everybody. H
