Honestly, it's it's one of those things. We talked about it on on Monday and Tuesday, and now it's past us and we really focused on Washington. So I really don't want to dwell on that too much to Ryan Matthews at all, just about getting over that play. And yeah, you know, Ryan's a competitor. Obviously he's not He's not thrilled when that happens. No one's thrilled when they make

a mistake. But um, you know, he's a competitor. And he came right back to work like like nothing happened, and you know, we're all moving forward from there, and UM, yeah, I'm not worried about him in the slightest. Lane is playing some really good ball for you guys. Yeah, I could be without him for the next ten games. I'm

just wondering how that, you know, impacts you. Yeah, you know, Lane was playing great football, you know, but the decision was made, and um, now we got all the confidence in the world in Big V. You know, it's signed for him to step up, and um, you know, he's been doing a great job with with the reps he's been getting and you know, he's already progressed tremendously from from OTAs through training camp, and um, I know the coaches have the most confidence in him. I do as well, so, UM,

it'll be it'll be fun for him. So you've shown so very little of being a rookie. But there were two delayed game penalties that go to clock, just were out on it. But those addressed this week. Is those things that is that part of the rookie curve. I

don't even know. Yeah, you know, those are things that we talked about, um, right away on Monday and Tuesday, and um, you know it's just some simple communication things that that we we thought we had ironed out then it got loud, and um, you know, those are the things that we're really going to dwell on. You know,

we definitely addressed them. Um, and we're not too worried about those mistakes or maybe Paul quarterbacks, but at least to this system where when you see it up there and it gets down into whatever number it is that that you just gotta aboard good time out. Um well yeah, I mean there's a there's a time for that. But we I still thought we were if we'd been on the same page, we would have got to snap off. So again, it's just a miscommunication that we gotta get

cleaned up. This is a division game. UM, do you expect there would be more intensity or anything like that or more um you know, maybe, But at the same time I know that this team and this offense and defense especially, you know, we go into every game with a lot of intensity. You know, we don't. We don't slack on and we go in there and we take the same approach every week. And um, I know that's the same approach I'll take. And I know it's a division foe, and we're excited for it. You know, we're

excited to go down there to Washington. But at the same time, you know, we don't we don't change the way we play regardless of who's out there. That's a rookie yourself obviously, if you talked with Bib about or giving any advice for a guy who's you know, making his first start on someday, yeah, you know, I haven't had a chance to really talk with him for a while. You know, everyone's kind of just giving him words of encouragement,

you know. Um. But at the same time, even when I stepped up, you know, there wasn't a lot of like talk going on. It is just hey, next guy up, you know, go do your job. And UM, I think that's the approach that we've all taken and everyone's helping him out doing what we can. But um, at the same time, we know he'll do his job. You know, we have confidence in that. Not really, you know, we have the same same approach at any issue. You know, is one of our models was always next man up.

You know, it's one of those things the game of football. There's always injuries, there's always things that happen. Injuries, suspensions, things happen. You know, it's part of the game, and um, next man's got to step up. And you know we believe Big De'll do that. Against the Blitz are really good and I wonder what you attribute that to. Guy's

playing fast. You know, the whole line protecting it has been tremendous, UM, giving me time and obviously when they bring an extra guy, there's next they're they're missing one uncovered. So so guys are making plays getting open quick and um, you know it takes quick decision making, but you know, guys are seeing things pretty pretty quickly, and we feel comfortable with where we're at with that relationship with with

Jason is to talk about how that helps that. Yeah, Kelsey's been all unbelievable, you know, the relationship even just going through the film all week, you know, talking through it, UM, going to coaches, you know, always just we have different ideas about things and UM come game day we have all our rules that we have all our UM communication

lines set. So he's been He's been unbelievable. Huge help for me to have a guy like that that really gets it, really understands protections and everything, UM, so that we can go out there and be on the same page. It's it's been really big for me. Jo said when the conference call, you said there's a lot of quarterbacks that big guns quarterbacks could run and stuff about you instinctuate When you hear that word, What does it mean to you when you do the word instinctuate? I guess

I'm not really sure. You know, it's just one of those things where UM, sometimes a look changes or you know, you just got to improvise and make plays. That's that's probably what I think of. You know, obviously, you can watch film, you can be expecting things all you want, but when you're out there, the bullets are flying, things change, you see things differently, things happen, um, And it just comes down to your instincts and that that take over

to make some places. I'm awful losses. You know, I know the approach is the same, but as they're you know, more of an anger or more of a you know, let's let's get right back at this, or how do you approach coming off? Yeah, you know we're frustrated. You know, we were frustrated with the loss. You know, we weren't. We weren't thrilled about it. But as one of those things, UM, we knew we just had to clean up some things. You know, we knew we couldn't take it for granted,

to take any place for granted. UM. And we just came back to work. You know, there's been a lot of excitement around here. UM. And you know we're not letting that fade away. You know, we're gonna keep the same approach and keep attacking it. UM. And I really like this team. You know, I think there are a bunch of resilient guys that, um, we're not gonna get phased by by that loss. We're just gonna go back

to work. And do our job. They eight quarterbacks who are senior ball or in the NFL, and half to think those have started games already. And of course you're meeting with Prescott being starters. Have you just from then till now? He's surprised that that's happened so quickly here And do you remember conversations you had in the game,

if you had anything about the um. You know, it's always you know, not many rookie quarterbacks start in this league, so it's one of the things you don't really think about those things. You know. At the time, it was it was a senior role and we were all just trying to get drafted, trying to put our best foot forward. UM. But you know, it's exciting. You know, I got to know a lot of those guys got to be around him. UM, So it's always exciting to see them and see them

doing well in this league. Josh Warman is a corner no for sort of baiting quarterbacks. Jordan talked about it in a lot at the room. Are you more aware and there's a player with that reputation, Yeah, you know, we will be aware of where he's at. You know, he's a playmaker and we got to know that. Um. But you know, yeah, we respect back out of him. But at the same time, it doesn't really change our

approach too much. Um. You know, we give him his respect, and UM, we know what type of player he is, Like I said, he's a playmaker, but UM, you know we don't we don't dwell on that too much. At the same time, stays out. Um, you know they got a good front front four. Um. You know, Karagan obviously is a really good player, a really good rusher, and UM, you know they just fly around. You know that you got Norman back there that that makes some plays that

um are very instinctual. So so they just they make some plays that they're good, Um, in a number of different areas. So obviously we got to work cut out for us. But you know, we're confident with where we're at as well. You talk about big be a little bit being in a part of the same rookie class. You know, sometimes class has become very close just because

they spend all the time together out close. Is this rookie class, Yeah, you know, this rickey class has been has been pretty close ever since you know, OTAs and the rookie mini camp and everything. Um, you know, obviously we stayed here for next year week and a half, we were all in a hotel together, did some different things. So we've been around each other for quite a while.

And so I'm excited for him. You know, I spend some time with him, UM, got to know him a little bit, and you know, I'm excited to see what he can do on So dwe what was your message for for Lane, you know before Yeah, you know, I didn't really get a chance to talk to him. Um,

I was actually gonna reach out to him here this week. Um. You know, it was one of those things we all knew kind of what was coming, um, but we didn't really dwell on it at the same time because we we're just fully prepared and getting ready to play each week. So it's one of those things we didn't really talk about it too much around here. We just all kind of knew what was happening. Will you take it upon yourself to kind of keep him updated throughout the ten

weeks suspension? Yeah, I think we all will. You know, I think we all will because obviously when he comes back, Um, he's a big part of this team. You know, obviously him being gone ten weeks he's really unfortunate, but um, you know, I think we're all confident that though when he comes back, he'll he'll be ready to go. I think everybody stars
