Finis fin a little radar or what do you can see from the ups in terms of what this year so far? Yeah, you know they're very sound. You know they play good football. Um, they don't do a ton, but what they do they do well. You know I said that again last week about Minnesota. But but they play fast, they're very sound. Um, they don't give up too many big plays. So we got to work cut out for us. I'm gonna go back from funds. You what does that mean? Um, I think it's just going

back to refining my my footwork primarily. I think it is the biggest thing, just being in rhythm with with the with the reeds and with the progressions and everything. Um. I don't think it's anything that we really need to like over analyze or freak out about. But it's just some something that you can just kind of focus in a little bit every week back not much we're on different teams, but I mean throughout the process, I got to know him a little bit, got to talk to him.

A great guy, great dude. It and um, it's exciting to see that he's been having some success as well. So I'm gonna be fun a fun one to go play him like you. He was one of the Eagles free draft visits and got thrilled like a lock press conference scenario over some of the things that you were asked from that scenario. Oh man, that was that was a long time ago. That was a long time ago. I just remember getting being thrown all sorts of kind

of questions, but I don't remember anything real specific. The fact that there's another young quarterback in this division that you know you're gonna kind of see, you know, play against them, but you'll see him, you know, twice a year for the for the near future. Is that's something that kind of drives you, we think, sure, you know, I guess it doesn't really drive me, so to speak. But it's exciting, you know. Obviously I got to know him, um, and you know, it's it's cool to see him doing well.

But obviously, hopefully we come out on top of this Sunday. See people in the draft. You expected God to be the guy who'd be compared to throughout the career. Prescott, someone now who who didn't think these matchups are gonna freak years ago? They might Again, I don't put too much stock into that stuff, but obviously he's in. He's a divisional rival, so very well could happen for a

long time. I'm sure you've heard about the rivalry with the Cowboys and would have beat the Eagles fans Mountain Jackins was to say this delivery guy said beat the Cowboys. Doug Peterson's wife has heard it at the grocery store. What kind of introduction have you had, either with Eagles fans or the whole thing about the rival yere um. Yeah, I mean, I know how much this means to the city,

how much means of these fans. There's a lot of excitement going on just with Eagles football, but definitely this week. You know, I recognize that, but but at the same time, I don't. I don't let that kind of bother me or distract me from the main goal, and that's just preparing every day because I know if I get sidetracked by any of those things, it's it's going to mess up the preparation and it'll affect the game on Sunday. Interactions with Eagle fans are about Pete the Cowboys. Not

too many, not too many yet. I'm sure the week's not over. Though you looked at the tape for this pass. How do you think you can play? I need to be better, you know, I think most portant that I I need to play better. I need to be smarter. I need to protect the football. Um. I think anytime you have really had three turnovers, you know, anytime you have that many turnovers as an offense, we had four um balls on the ground, you know, those things we got

to just clean up. You know. I think that that kind of, like Doug say, goes back to some of the fundamentals as well. Um things we just gotta get an order. Um. But yeah, I gotta I gotta play better sea or play calling in the game plan or restricting the human terms of work you can do with your arms trainers. Um, not really, no, I think just I think going in each week we have a really good plan and um, you know how it is, it never goes exactly according to plan. You know, sometimes you're

you're changing things mad games. So um, but but each week I think we've we've gone in with a really good plan and I trust the coaches that they're going to put us in a great situation. Throws as proved to your left side? What have you seen film there? And how do you tase there. It's really nothing you need to fix. You just gotta just gotta make throw. You know, I joked around with him, I gotta be gotta be a better athlete, get around and make the throw.

It's just playing simple. You just just gotta make throw to Aglar And it looked like he looked bad back a little early and the ball was over him. You know what was going on in that play? And how do you guys sync up there so you can get some of those Yeah, you know, obviously, anytime you're taking a chance down the field, especially third and long, Um, it's kind of a hit or miss. You know, it's a

big play or nothing. Um. Obviously, he I think he got bumped on his route, so he was kind of looking early and I was hoping he would kind of keep taking it into the next window. Um. But those are things we just got to be on the same page and clean up. Guys. I think I only have one thirty yard past play the last three games. Do you feel like that's something you need to uh for whatever reason? Do you think it's something you need to do more of it? Get those plays down the field, um,

when they're there. Absolutely, you know, those are things when we take those chances. We want to hit them. But at the same time, you don't press about it. You don't you don't get caught up, and you know, you get at times you gotta take what the defense gives you. Um. But but when we take our chances, which we have here and there, um, we gotta execute. We got to execute a higher level watch the field. All other places to be made down the field. Yeah, there's definitely some

place to be made. But you know, so obviously we haven't hit too many of them the last couple of weeks. But you know, again, we don't press, we don't worry about it too much. Um, they'll come. Are you seeing any evidence of teams now that they have some film on yet taking advantage of what they're seeing? Boy, hard to say. I think for the most part, what we've seen on film from teams is what we're getting on Sundays. Um.

I think we for the most part are seeing that. UM. I think as the week prolongs, or excuse me, as the year prolongs, we'll start to see some different things. But but right now we're seeing, for the most part what we see on film. How's the chemistry with Zach? I know that you want to take what the mass games offer the times he's open. You know, have you guys have gotten together and had a dialogue about getting

him with football. Yeah, it's all part of the offense, you know, It's all part of the reads and kind of how just how the flow of the game goes. Obviously, I'd love to get the ball to him more. I'd love to get the ball receivers more. I'd love to get everybody the ball more. Um. I'd like to complete more passes too. You know, those are things I got to clean up. But um, at the end of the day, we're finding the open guy as best we can. And UM, it just so happened the last couple of games. He

hasn't had too many, too many targets. There's some affairs when Jason work on practice. It's just continuing to just do it, continuing to rep it. Um. Going back and looking at tape, a lot of them were me. You know, I just got catch the ball playing and simple. Um. I took my eyes off at too early a couple of times, trying to um make my reads before I had the ball. So it's pretty simple stuff. Really. You just gotta keep you know, going back to the basics

and just keep repping it certain way. Do you want to told to a certain ways? Coming? Actually, I mean it's really not a big deal. I just I just got to look it in. You know, I took my eye off it a little early. I just looking at that the season you're having. It's almost six games that you remind yourself of that that you're still rolling. Yeah, you know, at this point, I don't really get too caught up in that. I'm too busy worrying about the

next week's oponent and everything. Um, I don't I don't believe in the rookie excuse or anything like that. You know, I'm all about, um just winning ball games. Winning Now. Doug just talked about trying to keep your past in touch around thirty. It doesn't want to throw the thirty five times a game. He's had a comfortable number for you, or do you need time to get into a rhythm throw ball? Yeah, you know, whatever whatever Doug thinks is best.

You know, I feel comfortable with however it works. Obviously, we know all know. Um, like I mentioned earlier, not every game plan is gonna go perfect. You know, sometimes you're gonna be down, have to throw more. Sometimes you're gonna be up, um you're running the ball more. So. It's just kind of a flow of the game thing. But um, obviously as an offense, we like to be balanced, you know, we like to be balanced. I think we have a very good running game, UM, very good quick

pass game, take shots when they're there. So um, yeah, I don't get too caught up in the breakdown of that. Anyways, our coaches that had you, did you chance that they would take you? Absolutely? You know, you leave there. Um, it was a great week, you know for me personally for being around those guys. But uh, you know, that's just that's just the draft process, you know. I thought maybe I could go to thirty two different teams for a while there. So um, but but I was very

very fortunate and very excited it all played up. Did you did you happen to hear the commented Garry Jones with me as they drafted day and here the best quarterback there. He said that included the Carson Wentz. I had not heard that. I had not heard that. No, thanks about Rookie of the year type of stuff like that. No, I mean, that's that's so far down down the Road, and honestly, that's all individual awards, and to me, that's irrelevant if you're not winning games, So all that matters

is winning on Sundays. Thanks everybody,
