That number of reps. Basically, UM, he's not going to get the full compliment of reps. We'll just we'll sprinkle him in and each each drop. Would you learn during to reevaluation? Um quite a bit actually, Uh, you know, just the overall his health, the strength of his knee. Um, you know where he's at physically. His his arm is live. You know, he hasn't had all the reps obviously that are normal, you know, like Nick has had, like Nate has had. Uh. So his arm is live and um,

you know he's fresh. And that's uh, that's that's all the things that that we wanted him and where we kind of wanted him to be. You know, at this stage, has there an improvement in the knee to the point where you are now comfortable putting him back in a less controlled environment. Well again, go back to you know, um beginning a camp and some of the things I had mentioned earlier. I mean, it's all part of what the doctors have said too. So uh they're the ones

that evaluate the knee. Um, I can't do that out My expertise only goes so far. But but what I can tell you is is, you know, his arm is live, he's he's moving around well, you know from the quarterback position, and and you know he's excited to get out there today. Nick Fole's status, he's fine, Yeah, he's good. He will, yeah, he will. Um, they didn't they did not. I mean they're there, I should say, I mean they didn't specifically just exam They examine him every day. It's not just

one specific day, but they do examine him. And you know, this is all part of the plan to get him back into some eleven on eleven drills. Now, yeah, he's gonna be week to week with his with his knee. We'll both be full today or will he be limited? All stuff? Well, basically with he and Carson just kind of I'm gonna get both of those guys about fifty fifty today, Pump doing any chance of seeing him today or this week he's doing good, Probably not a chance

this week. No, it's fifty fifty with first team reps. Carson yea, yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to make sure he's he's with you know, with the starters and with the guys that when he is finally okay to play, um, that he's still got the timing with the with the starters, what is it going to be over the next few weeks to split those reps. I guess between Carson Nick

as soon as I get the prepare of them. Boat. Well, we're still a training camp, so, um, we would normally in the past we've we would you know, kind of do the same thing, you know, with whether it was Carson Nick or Nick Carson, Um, you know, and so we're still still evaluating. But this is all part of the process and the plan that we've established for for Carson moving forward. Lastly, way the game is typically for

which one thing. The fourth preseason game is typically for reserves, and you know we'll be to start with as the starters. But if if Carson would were to be cleared for contact before them, would you even risk putting them out there now? Um? You know, probably not. You know, we're not there yet obviously, um. And and so we're just gonna take it day by day right now. Tug, you kind of mentioned last week about when Carton is cleared for contact, needing probably a full week of practice to

be comfortable, but putting them out there. Have you thought about that more? Is that same kind of plan there? I haven't thought much more about, you know, today obviously and getting them out there and you know, um, and I'll cross that bridge when when he's finally you know, finally cleared for the the actual play. But right now, we're gonna continue to evaluate him and uh and sprinkle them in when we can. Would you like to see guys like Jason Peters dinner and Sprawls um get into

a game Thursday? And overall, like, how are they doing? It seems like we're all yet overall the great, They're right on, right on track, and both of them both are healthy and doing doing a nice job. I don't necessarily need to see these two guys, you know. Um, these two guys have played a ton of games, you know, and and uh, um, you know it's something you know, Sprowls has really never since I've been here, hasn't really played in a preseason game at all, you know, and uh,

you know, Jason's very limited usually through camp. Try to get them, you know, to the regular season and then obviously keep them healthy for sixteen games. So I'm not in any hurry to see see these two guys right away. You know, they're both coming off you know, the injuries. Would you like I listen tractive practices are as hard, if not harder, than games, and so we're seeing enough in practice to know that these two guys are ready to go. I'm sure you guys are doing no advanced

work in front of week one? How do you how do you go about that when you're not exactly sure where the quarterback's going to be and they you know, they obviously they like different things, So how do you how do you go about that? How do I go about planning for week one not knowing who the quarterbacks

couldn't be when they like different things? But you know, UM, when we look at our schedule and look at who we're playing early in the season, you know, we look at scheme defensively, you know, from an offensive perspective, and conceptually what what we feel are going to be plays that we can execute. UM. I don't worry about the quarterback position, um as much at this time, you know, as much as just understanding the defense and that we're

going to see. UM. I think so. But again it's not you know, uh, it's not Kevin cobbn, Nick Foles or uh, Mike Vick, you know what I mean? So, UM, in this case, I think it's very similar. But at the same time, I think it, Uh, it doesn't hurt to uh, you know, not to put it out there. Who's going to start right away? J Mills, Nelson? Um, Corey and Nelson are both uh, you know, sort of day to day. We'll do more next week with both of them. Um and uh, who's the third one, Oh,

Jayleen Mills. Jayalen is going to do a little bit today. Yeah, more individual stuff, but keep him out of the eleven eleven watch to watch me take a lot of reps. To talk about what you've seen in terms of growth progress. He's really taken uh, some some big strides forward. Um, you know, this has been great for him this offseason, this this training camp. It's he's got a ton of reps obviously with the offense, and he's got a lot of playing time, you know, with this offense, and especially

this last week, and he's done some really good things. Um. You know, I thought last week he really settled into the football game against their ones, you know, on defense for about a series a series or so, and you know, did some nice things. You gotta understand, I mean, and I got to realize too that this is really his first time, so he's almost like a rookie UM playing and and so we're still working through progressions and reads and you know, decision making and all the things that

that come with young quarterbacks. And but he's very mature. He understands exactly our offense and what we're trying to get done. And um, each week there are there are some nice gains in his in his performance in a two and a half weeks since we saw Carson taking eleven on eleven. I think um, July twenty eighth was the last day. How I know he's been frustrated, Zack tells me, A listen, though he's got it all. But I'm sure he does. But he's prepared for us too.

I mean, how do you balance we know how much he's wanted to do all that full team stuff. UM, I'm sure he's come up to you a lot. How do you balance kind of you know, feeling what's best for him and really taking his you know, his wishes and took I'll tell you the biggest thing is just communicating with him and just saying, hey, here's the plan, and this is the way it is, and this is this is what we're sticking to. And there really hasn't

been that conversation, you know, and he understands that. And uh, you know, if I were in his shoes, I'd probably want to be out there too, But uh, you know, this is obviously for his health and benefit and the you know, his his progress and the longevity of his career. And so the biggest thing for me was just being you know, being honest and communicate with him upfront Thursday night. What did I make of it? What? You know? It just it wasn't big v um for whatever reason. Uh,

He's definitely played better. We know exactly who he is. Um, you know, he's hard on himself like every anybody is, and and uh, um, you know there's some things he would want back obviously, but at the same time, he under he understands, uh, you know, what he needs to do to continue to get better and improve. And you know, as a as a now he's a he's a he's he's still a young player, but a player that's played

a lot of football. Um, you know, he knows exactly what he needs to to do to not only fix that, but to be in a position because you know, who knows he might he might be called upon again this season and and we'll need him again, but um, you know he's done. He overall though for training camp, he's he has done a really nice job for us, and uh continues to improve with Nelson and mac all out. Where have you seen from the other wide receivers where they've done the charge? Um, yeah, Well it was good

to see Mike Wallace back out there last week. Um, and keep keep him coming. I thought, uh, you know, even some of the younger guys with Chard Davis, you know, uh, DeAndre Carter, you know, both had some some a lot of plays, you know, in this last game. And and I thought they did a nice job. You know, they're still learning and understanding defense and leverage and coverage and all kinds of things. And um, they're they're getting better

each and every week. And this is this is a great opportunity for them right now at this time, this time at camp. But between now and the end of the regular at the end of the preseason, with the helmet rule, we'll see at least a video or something like that. I don't think there's gonna be any kind of adjustments with it. Um, you know, from our standpoint, we just got to continue to you know, educate our players and show them, uh some of these calls, um

and and just just keep talking to him. You know, I don't think there's gonna be any thing you know that's uh, it's gonna change in the next couple of weeks, and and uh, you know, we're just something we're gonna have to deal with. Thanks guys,
