Eagles Entertainment in the Rain. The Eagles reign NFC East champions with a thirty four seventeen win over at the New York Giants. We are very excited to break it all down and look ahead to what this means for this team. Thanks for joining us on the first game show, Amy Campbell as always, joined by friend Duffy and I Crease. Uh, you guys are really chill, more chill than I expected. Um do you do? You? Are you excited about this one? Well?

I just got one word. Playoffs. Playoffs victory, Yes the radio, Yeah, they get playoffs, So I am excited. I wanted to be a little more subtle than I was last week. We got a chance to sort of relax towards the end of this game in the fourth quarter, so we haven't had the last second excitement, but nonetheless, big victory today. Man,

we got so much to get into. It's just so much to say about this team, where they were, where they come from, where they are right now, and the masterful job that this head coach has done over the last four to five weeks keeping this team focused, believing, and now have them in the playoffs for three straight years. I'll tell you something, Amy fran Sometimes we can take for granted playing in the postseason. They're not very many teams that have been in the playoffs the last three years.

I think the Patriots half, I think the Chiefs have. I can't think of the other three teams, maybe the Saints, but it's not been very many teams in this league that have gone to the playoffs the last three years. So what this team has done over the last three years under the head coach of Doug Peterson, I mean, I don't know if I can just say enough about

the job he's done coaching. We'll talk about the players and what they did out there on the field, but this NFC East Division crown is a masterful head coaching job. That's what it is. A masterful head coach. And to me, like when you look at where this team has come from, resiliency today shown you don't do that without the leadership at the top with head coach, GM quarterback. Like you look at some of these other teams that missed the playoffs.

You look at Dallas, you look at Cleveland, you look at some of these other ones that Hall had high expectations coming into the year, had no injuries, they had off the field stuff. They've got all these other distractions, all these other excuses to why they don't succeed. This team had on field reasons to say, man, you know what, this just isn't our year, is not going our way. What do they do? They come back, They run the table at the end of the year, and now they're

going to the postseason. Well, at one point, you looked at this offense, I mean just so many injuries across the board, and already playing with guys who were not starters, a lot of guys who are on practice squad halfway through this season, and even in this game, those guys are going out with injuries. We saw Miles Sanders got with the injury. We saw Brandon brook squad with the injury.

I'm looking at this team and I'm saying, the offensive starters coming into this season, it was Carson Wentz, Jason Kelsey, Sam Malo, Jason Peters. I think that might have was it. That might have been it. So what they were able to do with the guys that they had, and well, let's talk, I mean, we're going to give love to a lot of these different players. Who should we start with Boston. No, let's throw with a media guy so I can figure out who are these players that were

out there playing today. I mean so many guys in there today where you have to basically look them up to get some sort of a background on where they are, where they came from, what you're they're in, and to have coaches be able to devise a game plan around these guys, even players they lost today that they had to throw out there. I mean, Craig man LeBlanc, where have you been? My friend? What a job edia today? Um, I guess I'll throw my first cheat out there because

we're talking about it. It's next man up in the mentality, Yeah, next man up. The way they've been able to basically go in when a guy goes down and not flinch and really had the confidence of the other players around them. You know, sometimes when you get injuries, you can get sort of a gloomy mood or filling around the locker room because you're saying, our best players aren't out there, and you may not have veteran players that believe in

these young guys. But to these guys, right to these veterans credit, they seem to believe in all these young guys. They get a chance to practice against them on the practice squad all year, so they know firsthand the things they are capable of doing. So I think I've gotten a lot of joy out of watching them root Boston Scott on Gray Award Route, these guys on to see them get their opportunity to go out there and play. How do you how do you not like Boston Scott?

Like while watching that pretty that screen pass that set up the one to one yard touchdown, like the look on his face afterwards. But to me, going too to your point of the next man up, Like I go to that two play sequence that we were watching together. We're watching the game, last play of the third quarter, first play of the fourth quarter, they go deep ball to Robert Davis who goes up and over the Giants defender. Huge play puts them into Giants territory, comes back on

a penalty, and you're just so deflating. You're like, man, we're watching the game, like how they how they gonna make this up first and twenty? What do they do? First play of the fourth quarter, very next play they go deep shot Deontay Burnett. So you go from the former sixth round Pickle Washington that they picked up off way in the summer. In Robert Davis to a guy that they've just picked up a couple of weeks ago, added to the practice squad, added to the active roster

this week, Deontay Burnett. I'll explain to like, Oh, that's Deontay Burnette. He was Sam Garnold's number one receiver with the Jets. Good player, you know, played for the Jets last year. They picked him up off waivers this fall, just a couple of weeks ago. He's out here catching thirty yard passes. That just speaks to where this team's

at right now, though, and the resiliency they've shown. These are the guys who caught passes today, Boston Scott, Dallas Goddard, Josh Perkins, Deontay Burnette, Greg Ward, Robert Davis, Miles Sanders. And we know that Miles Sanders left pretty early in the game, did not return as well. Boston Scott three touch three rushing touchdowns, that's the most in Shade McCoy in twenty eleven. Again, one of the best stories of

this season. And then you want to talk about milestones, Carson Wentz surpasses four thousand yards in a single season. That has never been done in Eagles history. Not only that, the first Eagles quarterback in history to throw a touchdown pass in all sixteen games of a season. He came into this season with so many questions that continued, and I actually got louder, I would say until the Giants game four weeks ago when you said that was the best game ike of his career. He had so many

questions that continued, that doubt continued to get louder. And he is doing this with like we said, guys that we're on practice squads just a few weeks ago. Yeah, he went through a stretch of a couple of weeks. I think it's probably as rough as patch as a pro right outside of being injured at any point. You just watched him play against New England in Seattle. The guys that were out there, you could tell if the

offense wasn't in sync. There were chemistry issues from the standpoint of just being able to be in rhythm with each other. Outshone in and out, Nelson in and out in those two weeks, and I thought Carson probably played his worst two games. So to see him bounce back from those two defeats and the way that he played in those games. I think it just speaks to you know, fran this will probably be a buzz word throughout the show. It speaks to Carson's resiliency, the fact that he's going

to continue to work at his craft. That's he's going to continue to try to pick up his level of play, and that's really what turned this thing around. Even after the loss in Miami, where he played well in that game. On that side of the football, you can tell he took the heart those two games against Seattle in New England with the way that he played, and he wasn't bound. He wasn't going to allow that to happen again. So I love the way that he's played over the last

five weeks. One of the hottest, if not the hottest quarterback in football over the last month. You talked about the sixteenth straight touchdowns he's I mean sixteen straight games he has this year. Well, he has the longest streak right now currently in the NFL at nineteen straight games with a touchdown pass And to add to that four thousand yard passing mark, which he surpassed today for the

first time in franchise history. He became the first quarterback in NFL history to do it without a receiver having more than five hundred yards. That's almost unheard of, right, So, I mean, just the way that that he's played through

out the year. He won't get any votes for MVP, nor do I think he should, but the fact that this team is in the playoffs primarily due to his play, particularly over the last month or so, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody decided to give him one vote because he is one of the twelve qualifiers for the postseason, and there's no way this team is in the postseason if he doesn't play the way he played the last four weeks. No, no, no shot. And I think too

you talk about what he's done. I sent that stat in the Kickoff Show leading into this game. He didn't have thirty completions tonight, but he was the first quarterback NFL history to have three straight games thirty completions, no interceptions, first quarterbacking team, and to do that with the supporting cast that he's been playing with. I don't know what else you can say about the way he's playing well and still and took care of the football tonight again,

which usually means a w for the Eagles. I'll tell you what, there is not a team that wants to run into Carson Wentz in the postseason. But somebody is going to next week. It is going to be the loser of tonight's game between the forty nine Ers and the Seattle Sea So whoever gets the wild card in the NFC, we'll be coming over here to South Philadelphia. Of course, the Eagles matchup against the Seahawks earlier this year.

They did not win that game. The forty nine Ers have been one of the hot teams this Season's going to be one of these two teams. Should we talk about what these matchups might look like? Either matchup is gonna be tough. We saw Seattle upfront, I mean in person about a month or so ago. I thought our defense played them very well. What is the seventeen points they scored? I believe our offense struggled a little bit. Carson had a couple turnovers in that game. They're struggling

with personnel right now. Anytime you're bringing Marshawn Lynche in and he's gonna get a lot of carries for you. Chris Carson being injured, I think that's gonna be huge for their offense. They like to run the ball. I don't want to sit here and say who I would prefer to see. Either one of these teams are going to be a difficult matchup for us just because of

who we have available to us. But I tell you what, the way this team is playing right now coming to Philadelphia, that's two West Coast teams that have to fly out here. Hope is Saturday night and not Sunday, so we get them on a short week, and you know the link is going to be crazy. Carson Winson his first playoff game, Okay, right now, it just feels so right when I look

at these matchups. Of course, I want your take on this two fram but I think, first of all, this game tonight for the for these teams is going to be a battle, and so both of these teams are going to be exhausted after this. Like you said, it's a night game, so it's gonna be a little shorter. When I look at Seattle, I think this is a

team that the Eagles have already faced. We know it's hard to meet a team twice, but Russell Wilson is the quarterback who is the winner who I would not want to face, although their defense is ranked twenty six in the league, and so I think that's a less talented defense. On the forty nine er side, I think way more talented across the board, but inexperience and an unproven quarterback in the postseason. So pros and cons on either sidday. Yeah, I think that you make a great point.

The best player on the field tonight will be Russell Wilson between those two teams, and now without a running game, they're gonna put the ball in Russell Wilson's hands and that Mike work out better for them than what their formula has been because they've traditionally been a very conservative offense. They want to run the football, try and be efficient, matriculate the ball down the field. With Russell Wilson running around and making plays, that may not be the case.

So it'll be very interesting to see what their game plan is tonight. I agree with you, though, San Francisco, that defense, that's that's something else defense to Ken Travel. That'll be interesting to see how this goes tonight. Seattle won the first match up a few weeks back. Yeah, I wouldn't The forty nine ers the defense would be the issue for me because if this team has a chance to win, we had to be able to score. And I like the match up with our offense versus

Seattle's offense. I think we're able. We'll be able to move the ball on their defense better than we would against the San Francisco forty nine ers. And Kyle Shanahan is an excellent play caller. He's an excellent play designer. I think we would struggle more with their offensive play design and their weapons than we would with Seattle. I'd rather have to try to stop the one man show of Russell Wilson than the multiple weapons that Cisco can

hit you with. Both teams have struggled in the secondary down the stretch. Yan Francisco has been given up big plays down the field in the passing game. Seattle as well. They've had some injuries in the back end that have certainly hurt them as well. I'm thinking of Nick Bosa.

Yeah they got like first round pick. Yeah they're really good across that front, But you know who else is really good across the front The Eagles defense and Tim Jernigan one of the several guys up front who had a big game tonight, including a sack on Daniel Jones, a lot of pressure, really strong force up there, and of course showing all that personality. He's one on one with Eagles insider Dave Spidero after the win, Tim, let's first talk about the defensive effort and taking out Stake

on other than one play, he did nothing right. You know, we got a lot of respect from not just Stake one, but the Giants the general. You know, they always play us tough as hell, man, so we knew it was going to be adult fight. You know, nothing matters what happened previous to this. We knew we had to have this game. They get what we're trying to go, and then you guys really feasted on their offensive line late. That turned the whole game around, right a doct man.

We just knew we had to pick it up. You know, I think a lot of the success or the team layers on our defensive line, and we understand that. So we just knew we had to take it to the next level to win the game. How's it feel to be division champion? You feel good? Man? It was a long ride. It was a long you know, it's a long path, but we got it done, man, and it's just time to go out here enjoy this victory, man, and we hope everybody back at home and enjoying it

with us. So we just want to say thank y'all for sticking with us through through through the through this chart. Congratulations. Would you listen to that crowd that sounds like a home game. That's pretty exciting to hear that. Let's get into your next Oh, Carson, I just think you can only talk so much about this team without going to Carson Wentz and the way that he's played. Be surprised if he's not the player of the Month in the NFC. With the way that he's played and the fact that

he's able to put this team on his back. That's what a franchise quarterback is supposed to do. I don't know if it's supposed to be this difficult when you have the type of weapons that have gone down and the players that he has it his disposal and basically learning a new passing weaponry every week. I mean, he's learning new guys every week and trying to figure out where to get them the ball to where they like it in the offense. And he's been able to do

that remarkably well. And the fact that he's been able to take care of the football the way he has over the last five weeks. I mean, Markos, it's what you want from your quarterback, right, It's what you want him taking care of football, him being big in the red zone and on third down, and how many ways do we count that he's been able to come up with big throw at the big throw over the last

month or so and the guys that he's doing it with. Man, it just I think we forgot what this looked like from him because it's been a while, right since twenty seventeen when he was completely healthy. But that Giant game, I think it was either the Giant Gag or the Redskins game where it was like the two year anniversary of him tearing his knee. That's when I started to see him run more and do other things. I think

you're seeing a fully healthy quarterback, fully confident quarterback. And the fact that he could taste it, he could taste that it was close. He wanted these moments. He's missed out on these moments the last couple of years. And man, he showed why they drafted him. He showed why they gave him the big money this all season, and hopefully this is just the beginning for him and being in the postseason, I can't wait to see what he's gonna

look like next week. Yeah. Listening to him at his press conference this week, I thought one of the things that I took away was, you know, talking about how he's worked with these new receivers and it's not just a hey, you know this guy, we're gonna insert him in and he's gonna play this role in the offense. He's taking it upon himself to go to all those guys individually and say, hey, what routes do you like to run most? How do you like to run those routes?

And working with those guys individually on a one on one basis to now understand Okay, now I'm gonna go back to the coaches and say, hey, this guy runs this route this way, how can we incorporate that into what we do, just to expedite that process, because it takes time to create chemistry with these guys, and he's doing it on the fly. He had he's had to

do it on the fly. Yeah. I think he gets so much credit and for so many things, but especially with what he's doing with these young guys, and he's the one, like you said, he's the one going to them. But you can see even on the sideline his body language instilling that confidence, whether it's you know, telling someone great job or what they did, or hey, if there was a drop or a miss or whatever, I'm coming

right back to you. And that totally changes, especially for a young guy, that mentality and that confidence, and we're seeing it happen, which of course breeds more confidence in that offense and his leadership. It's had to be on Front had to be on Front Street because basically the offense needed him, the offense needed him to sort of lead them, and with those young guys out there that haven't played a whole lot, he finally had a huddle where the weapons basically are relying upon him and his

leadership to guide them where to go. And you know, it's been a lot of questions at times about you know, what type of leader is he? You know, do the guys want to following Listen, I think the guy has been a great leader since he's been here, but the fact that he had to go out and do this

the way he's been able to do it. I think that's re established his hold in the locker room and his status in that locker room as a guy his teammates can trust and follow, and now they're all believing and showing the mental toughness to hear all of that noise from the outside of hasn't played this deep in the postseason or in December since his rookie year, hasn't won those big games with everything on the line. It's

been somebody else that's done it well. He's been on the sidelines having all of that noise and having that narrative to be able to just remain unflappable, especially in the back of your mind when you're thinking, I get hurt this same time every year, and my gut, is it going to happen to me again? Whether anyone admits it or not, that's a part of the mental narrative, the tape that we hear that plays. To be able to be unflappable and have the adversity of the guys

around you going down. There's so much there that he gets credit for it. Yeah, it's easy to kind of tell those stories to yourself in your head. The moment I go back to was week fifteen fourth quarter against Washington. You know, he fumbles the football in our own territory. He very easy could have said, like, man, like I did it again. We fumbled. I fumbled the football. I gave them the opportunity to score. Instead, he goes to the defense said, hey, pick me up, give me the

ball back. I want to go and win this game. They forced a three and out. The kick a field goal. Washington is the game back up. He goes and leads the game, or leads a team on a game winning touchdown. I go back to that and say, that's, you know, the whole team. He's the shepherd of that team. He's the leader of that locker room, offense and defense. Yeah, all right, we are of course waiting for Doug Peterson and Carson wentz Um. We will be carrying those press

conferences live. I'm sure they are doing some extra celebrating and the party hats and T shirts extra. Yeah. Well, we heard Brandon Graham earlier said this week we want those hats and T shirts and we also especially don't want Dallas to have them. So it's a win win

there for the Eagles as well. Let's get into your third takeaway, Like My takeaway is just this team and how they've been able to come together the last three years to face what they faced at this time of the year and still be able to pull together again. It's just a true testament of the leadership on the team. And it starts at the top, like Fran mentioned earlier when you're talking about from the ownership to the front office, but it trickles down to the head coach, his coaching

staff the way that they coach these guys up. They have to dig down, dig deep into that playbook to come up with ways to put these players not only in a position to help them be successful out there on the field as individuals, but trying to find schemes that they all can play together in from an offense and defensive standpoint, so that you can get to the level of player you want to have a chance to win.

So when I look at this thing as a whole, it's the team as a whole, and then I go to the players, the veterans on this team that's been around here the last three years, that has playoff experience, that did what they did the Super Bowl year and then repeated it last year when Carson had to go out and Nick had to come in. Those are the guys that this team had to rely on to pull through this. Those are the guys that never wavered when

you hear them do interviews week after week. Malcolm Jenkins, Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Lane Johnson before he was in your Jason Peters, Brandon Brooks before he was injo Jason Kelsey. These are all the guys that have been around here in the last three years. And these young guys that had to step in and play on the big stage they had never played on. Those are the guys that they were leaning on. So I just think my biggest takeaway is this is an entire team effort from from

the top to the bottom. That's you don't you don't. You don't pull out of what they pulled out to this point unless everybody is on the same page. You know one thing that stands out. You mentioned a couple of those those names, right, Fletcher Cox, Malcolm Jenkins, And to me, I think about the turnovers in this game. Two turnovers for the Eagles defense, no turnovers for the Eagles offense. And I just look, I'm just looking at

the stats here. You can go up and down this list to box score, it's pretty much fifty fifty when you look at what the Eagles were able to do and what the Giants were able to do. Total yards four hundred for the Eagles, three hundred ninety seven for the Giants. For yards per play five point six to five point five, rushing yards one twenty one to one twenty two passing our two seventy nine two seventy five. Turnover you would say, oh, this was a close game.

The Eagles win thirty four to seventeen because of turnovers. And to your point, you look at Malcolm Jenkins, Fletcher Cocks. I think back to twenty seventeen and that Super Bowl run, and you know, back then it was all right, they have to lean on the guys that have been there before, right, Malcolm Jenkins, Chris Marages, Tim Jernegan, the guys that had won Super Bowls in the past. Now, so many of those guys have they've done that, They've said, and not

just lap that year, but twenty eighteen. What they were able to do to fight back and get into the postseason. This team is battle tested and that's something that's gonna make it them a team no one wants to come to the link and play this team, and I think that's gonna be on the minds whoever loses this game tonight. I think those turnovers were key, but especially the Fletcher Cocks fumble recovery that Malcolm Jenkins punching it out. I mean, I said before this game that if Daniel Jones fumble

the ball, that was my key to this game. That Daniel Jones was prone to fumble and if they could get him to do it that that would be a big That was my key to the game, and to me, that was the biggest momentum swing. So I think that whole concept when you talk about the resilience, but on both sides of the ball, the defense having the offenses back, the offense having the defenses back. When the storyline of this game, when I see the Eagles get that touchdown,

they go up seventeen to ten. On the very first play of the Giants drive, sa Quan goes for sixty eight yards, I'm thinking, Okay, well, now here goes the offense again. They get that field goal and you're still feeling uncomfortable. Then you get the forced fumble, the fumble recovery, Fletcher Cox gets the ball to the two yard line, and that was again Malcolm Jenkins and Fletcher Cox stepping up.

They're really smart also for Malcolm to go for the ball and not necessarily the tackle Fletcher to be able to get the ball, and then you got Boston Scott punching it in. To me, that was like the momentum swing to get the ten point difference there, but also kind of the storyline of this team's identity kind of in that little sequence there. I completely agree to me that the turning point of the game, and it gave you a two score lead. Not only that, um, it

forced the Giants to almost be one dimensional now. And then that's when you started seeing all the sacks. It was like meet me at the quarterback. You know, everybody was getting a sack after that because the Giants became one dimensional and their offensive line has struggled all year

long to protect their quarterbacks. Yeah, that's when the game was flipped on his head, and it was because of the defense, right, It was because of what the defense was doing, and that play there from Malcolm Jenkins and Fletcher Cox. It's only fitting when you talk about needing your leaders to step up. Brandon Graham what do you have three sacks today? Two sacks today? He was huge day as well, at fifth in sacks and Eagles history career year in sacks, I believe from Brandon Graham it

finally got over the double digits. I believe. Yes, it's it's unbelievable that he hasn't gotten there yet. But it was great to see that that side of the ball came to play too. They came to play as well. I mean, it was a low scoring game for much of the game and you kind of knew that. And the Giants if they keep throwing the ball, eventually here on the hit on some of these plays and then say, Quan, how long can you bottle him up? Man? He went from zero to sixty five miles per hour in a

blink of an eye. He's a home run hitter. But I love the fact that the defense and Jim Schwartz didn't necessarily start getting conservative. They almost turned up the heat on the New York Giants. Having Malcolm being at extra blitzer, Rodney McCleod being at extra blitzer, I think really rattled that Giant's offensive line people too. Oh for two in the red zone, the girl dresser, they were able to see that bend but don't break philosophy kind of show up there as well. That really isn't a

part of this Eagles defensive identity. I was gonna say Russell Douglas had you know, it was a little up and down out there, but he had some nice pass breakups where played the ball well, didn't panic at the one pass an Afferen's call at their golden take to scored the touchdown. But and honestly, had he turned around, he could have batted that ball away. Also, um I thought he played a nice game to day and then

Craig von le Block. I mean, how many big tips did he had to day where he broke up passes on third down? Now standing pass break up on the first half. You said you saw Sidney Jones with the interview Jones all these guys again, it just goes back to the next man up, like you go. You come in without Ronald, without Ronald Darby, without Jalen Mills, and

those guys step up and make big place. Sidney Jones, I sa the game for the second we can grow and you talk about look being ready when your number is called and you get it in the first Giants game, Sydney Jones. Look at that. A couple of big plays. I believe we're getting close to coach Doug Peterson talking. Also want to give a little love to Brandon Graham because he went out with the injury and then came back in and continued to make big plays. All Right,

I know this is going to be T shirt on. Man, probably he's not coming out with a T shirt on. Come on, he got the hat on. All right. I know you should have been in there. You should have been in there because it was it was it was excitement. It was guys dancing, the music was going, guys are excited, um, and and it's just it's a great feeling. You know. We set out back in July. This was this was obviously one of many of our goals this season. And uh,

you know, obviously we can check this box. But uh, what I love about this football team is is how how we we've we've stuck together the entire season, um, through through all the ups and downs, through all the injuries, we've battled, We've we put ourselves in this position to

win the NFC East. We've done that. But but again, what what I see from our players is they're they're already talking about next week and coming to work this week and preparing for next week, and and it just tells me that the guys are in the right frame of mine. Having all that happened, mak you feel better to overcome everything that you had to overcome this year. I mean it does, you know, in a way. But

but for me too personally. I mean we still have hopefully, you know, hopefully a lot of football left and and um, you know, I'm just so happy for the guys, for the coaches for what they've had to endure dealing with you guys all the time, and and and and you know, battling through that. But um, this is one of our goals obviously, and and im and I'm happy and I'm excited and all that, but uh, we get to continue to play. I think of the art of this season, Doug,

in the job that you yourself have done. What are you most proud of? Me? You know? I just think

just uh, staying consistent with the players. I think, just uh getting them to believe in themselves, you know, honestly, Uh, through through all the different adversities and and things that we've faced through the different you know, the amount of injuries that are piled up, and the next guy, and then promoting all the practice squad players and and just sort of for me, just kind of keeping everybody on

the same page. I think that's the that's the most proud that that I feel with these with these guys and leaning on the leadership of the football team and the veterans and um, leaning on the coaching staff and and uh just trying, you know, and in this business, we have to trust a lot of people. And uh, um, that's that's what I'm most proud about. You went into this game obviously with so many guys out, Zack didn't play, and then halfway through the game, Miles goes down, Brandon

goes down. Are you thinking to yourself sort of here we go again with I mean, in the back of my mind, it did cross, you know, in my mind, like, man, when when can we get it catch a break? You know with some of these injuries. But uh, you know it's just Boston stepped up. Um, you know, Vinnie stepped up, Derek stepped up. I mean, you can just go right down the list with the guys and um, you know, just that's I guess that for me That's what I'm

most proud about. It's how these guys respond, think preliminary when either Sanders or pros not not yet. Um, obviously we'll get more tomorrow when we get him in and get him checked out. But nothing, nothing at this point. Does this feel different from two years ago? I mean, obviously, at the end of the regular season two years two, you already knew you were in and so you didn't have to play your way in like this. But does this feel sort of like the adversity you didn't have

your quarterback then? Just time that's almost all you gotta aside from your first bowing guys, I mean, how does the field I mean, yeah, I mean it feels it feels great obviously. Um, you know, I can remember back to seventeen and we were the number one seed and at the time, I think we were the worst number one seed quite honestly, and we had we didn't have a shot and as a one seed. So you know,

now we're we're a division winner. We're what the four seed I guess, and probably still don't have a shot. But that's okay. Um, We're gonna go to work this week and prepare whoever we get and um get to play in front of our fans, um next weekend, and that's uh, everybody's record is zero zero, So that's that's what we focus on. The only there's a point during this skip for Dallas conference really the only uh guy on the field, skill skill player on the field that

was on the active roster week one. So what does that kind of say about Carson Wentz and his ability to sort of adapt by the guys that have come in and be able to produce. But you know, all these new faces, UM, I'll tell you this, Carson's part of it. But I commend my coaching staff on offense. I commend Mike Row for putting plans together to help these players play and be successful, Carson Walsh for putting

him in the right positions to be successful. For Justin Peel to coach up the tight ends in the run run game and the you know the past game and you know dudes to get to get Boston Scott caught up to speed and um, you know coach stoutlind To to get to get him at prior ready to go, to get a Nate herbig ready to go. You know, that's that's where it starts. And so that's that's what

I'm the most proud of is my staff. Carson. Carson's a part of it, right, Um, and and you know he is he is really I think what we've seen here in the last month is how he's really embraced his role. How he's sort of you know, grown up, you know, with our offense, with with playing this game and and uh just uh, you know, helping us, helping us win these I think so I think he's grown up as a leader of this team. Um, you've seen

it here now the last couple of games. How he's really just put the team on his back and said, hey, you know, follow me. And I think that's a sign of growth and a sign of maturity. I spent eight years in Green Bay with Brett Farve, and that's what Brett did. Brett just put the team on his back when when the Chips were against us, and and uh he said, hey, follow me. And that's what Carson can do.

And um, the guys really, you know, and I have so much faith and trust in him that I can call almost any play and um, you know, he's either gonna make that one work or he's gonna get us into a better play. And so he's really grown up that way and really matured that way in this league and uh uh just just really turned into a into a pro. The've been the younger players believing in him,

Boston Scott and others, you know. And and they that's the thing is they look I mean, I mean, Carson's only year four, and they're looking up to him like he's a you know, he's a twelve year vet. And and um, I think that they they look to him for that leadership, for that guidance, for you know, help me when I'm on the field. And that's what we see during practice during the week, that's what we see

during games. Um and and that's been that's been sort of our I think a little bit of our success here down down the stretch, high leverage situations for Carson though you can talk about his talent what he did in twenty seventeen, but now that he's been in these situations and performed in them, how does that help us developed? Well else, Like I said, I mean, he just I

think it just uh it elevates his performance. Um uh, it allows the guys around him to to just be who they are, um and and um and quite honestly, just just be able to just run the offense as as as we put it together, you know, during the week,

and he's got it. He still has a lot of input on that, you know, how guys line up, where they line up in things of that nature, and just um, you know, we're seeing that again, we're seeing that maturity and that growth in him, and he's really, uh, he's really become, you know, a very elite quarterback in this league. After Barckey the score is that touched it? Did you see a renewed effort or you're keeping the comment, Hey, look,

let's put this game away right now. Which one after Barker's touchdown round the big ones, it's about to time

back up? Yeah, yeah, I mean we felt like we went down and scored and I think it went up seventeen ten, and felt like we had a little momentum and little energy and man that that of course, you know, he's a tremendous back obviously, and got a lot of respect for him, and and uh, just he they scored, and you know, we said, hey, we we just got to keep going, you know, keep keep playing, and we knew something was gonna go our way. Hopefully in this game.

And um, we just kept trusting each other and and and put some drives together and and uh, defense, defense hung in there. Um you know, got a big turn over there, you know that that set up another touchdown, so you know, all the piece just kind of came together. I think after that touchdown run, both JJ and Jordan Howard were active but didn't play very much with that result of injuries. Um a little, a little. I want

to be protective of those guys. Um, we don't have any bodies left, you know, so I want to be as protective as I can and make sure these guys are healthy now, at least healthy enough, you know going into these next this next week at least so Okay, Coach Doug Peterson rock in the hat, but of course, you know, wanting to act like you've been there before because he has. Um. We did get a little glimpse on social media of the Eagles T shirts that's say

the East is not enough. Gotta love that mentality, right, guys, Yep, yeah, this They won what wanted two out of the last three years, so they certainly know what it's like to want a division. You enjoy the T shirts, but uh, I haven't been in that position. Yeah, you know, the division is just the first yeah, right, and just locks you into the playoffs. But teams that have the veterans that this team has, they aren't going to be satisfied with just winning a division. They want to see how

far they can take this. They they're starting to like the way winning fields a year, Right, It's been a struggle all year to put together, to stretch they put together, it's obviously the best stretch of football they played all year, So I'm pretty sure they want to see how far they can take this thing. Jason Peters isn't happy with the division T shirt. No, he wants to be in Miami about a month. Cool, guys, Well, when we all like to be in Miami and pou Yes, what was

I going to say? I also loved how coach talked about how he's seen Carson developed a point where he can trust Carson enough to call any play knowing that either they can execute it or Carson is going to make a smart call out of that. How big is that? Just the dynamic between these two. But to say I totally trust this guy is not something every team in the NFL has. I think it goes to back to that two play sequence that we talked about where they go deep ball shot play to Robert Davis at the

end of the third quarter. Something coaches make say, hell, you know that one didn't work. All right, let's let's just run the ball. Let's go quick game, We'll go We'll go back to that very next play. The Peters says, nope, let's go foot on the gas and they go back to another shot playoff play action, just again putting faith in Carson and putting faith in those guys in the receiving end as well, Deontay Burnett and Robert Davis on

the receiving end of both those two passes. Yeah, I think what you're seeing as a coach that you know, he's obviously been the only coach Carson has had over the last four years. But you know, Doug has also had to adjust his offense the last three years right under this team, So, you know, trying to figure out what Carson likes, what he does well, where he can

get the most out of Carson as a quarterback. It's been a evolving process, right, and when you don't have certain players every week, it's difficult for a coach to go from Deshaun Jackson, Alshon, Jeffrey Nelson, Aguilar zach Ertz, Dallas Goddard, Jordan Howard and Male Sanders week one to what they have now. So plays you may have thought you could run based on the personnel you had. With Carson,

you had to adjust on the fly. And I think there was a middle portion of the season where the offense struggle, and I think there was a difficulty in trying to figure out what plays will work well, trying to balance the offense from a running game or a passing game. And then how do we get the most out of Carson. You know, this kid has a big arm, so you don't want it to be a dink and dunk offense. You want to push the ball down the field.

And how do we get to that. How do we get him in situations where he can throw the ball down the field and we can have some chunk plays. For about a month we saw nothing past twenty yards, And for the last month you're seeing plays with guys I never thought would catch balls over twenty five yards is unbelievable. Believable, But I think just the familiar familiarity and the more you learn about your players, the more where you figure out what you can do with them.

So it's a it's been an every week evolving process for he and his coaching staff. With Carson, well, I think a part of it, like we always talk about, is taking what the defense gives you, and it's something Doug always emphasizes with Carson, and I think you're key to the game taking advantage of the giant secondary and how young they are. We really saw saw that today and I believe we are about to hear from Carson Wentz himself as approaching the podium, who is going to

be making his first postseason appearance next week. I'm sure he is very excited to hear that after putting the team on his back and getting it done with a bunch of guys who at the beginning of this season, no one expected this offense to look like it does, and Carson continues to silence the doubters. In the midst of all the criticism about who he is. He continues to put this team on his back and get some wins a four game win streak to put the Eagles

into the postseason. We are about to hear from Carson Wentz playing December football for the first time in three years, taking his team to the postseason. I know there are so many personal victories for him in this win today, and he's going to be coming soon. I know there's a lot of celebrating going on in that locker room. Let's see what he's rocking today. Do you think he has the T shirt, the hat, the hat and the

suit gone. You played the full season and made it through the playoffs, and what was this moment meaning for you? Tring everything you've been through. I'm just grateful, you know. I'm grateful for my health. I'm grateful to be out here with the guys in these big, meaningful games. M grateful to be playing into January. Uh, you know, the last few weeks have been uh, you know, backs against the wall force and guys have responded and it stepped up and kept making playoff to playoff for play and

just kept believing, kept believing. And here we are, you know, playing in January and hopefully we can do something special now. It hasn't been easy. All the injuries you guys hadn't more today. Um, when you look back at it, how much have you tried to just be a leader throughout all this. Yeah, I think that's what makes it, you know,

that was more special. Um is the camaraderie and the guys just buying in and believing, you know, buying in, believing, and you know, whether that's guys on the defense side,

offensive side. Um, we've had we've had new playmakers almost every week, you know, different guys stepping up because guys are getting hurt and banged up, and um, it's just fun to see guys you know, show up in big moments like that that you know, maybe last year on the practice squad, you know, and for them to step up and the way they have and the way guys have been making plays, it's been so cool to see. And you know, I think it makes it that much more fun to do what we did and and hopefully

we can go do something special. Like I said, Carson, personally, for you, what does it mean to get to this point finally and to do it with, let's be honest, a bunch of guys who we're on the practice squad this year. Yeah, like I said, I mean, I'm just grateful, extremely grateful to be healthy and to be out here playing in these meaningful games. Um, you know, and I know the guys are are fired up. You know, we're

fired up. You know, it's been a it was quite the season, you know for us, the regular season with a lot of ups and downs, and the way we responded late in the year with our backs against the wall to to do what we did and to get in this moment. Uh, you know, I think guys are thankful for it, but we're still hungry give it out. Hungry you said you are. You guys might be going into the playoffs the worst record in the NFC, but given the last few weeks and the confidence have been building,

does that mean you can da the team? I mean, i'd say, come playoff time, records don't matter, you know, records don't matter. They all go out the window. And you know, we're also grateful maybe playing a home game next week too, so hopefully fans show up and have quite the rock and atmosphere next week. Starters, you already were coming into the game and then you see a couple more to go down a mile man, Is it because you've been dealing with this the whole time that

it's not a state of shock? Yeah, I mean partially. I mean you've just seen injuries here and there, and um, a lot of these guys have been in these moments already. You know, Prior had a couple of weeks ago against Seattle he had to come in out of out of the blue like that, and um, you know, Boston's been ready, He's been making plays for a while now, and um, we just lean more on him and just guys just keep stepping up, you know. So it's especially in mid game.

You don't have time to worry about it or stress about it. It's hey, plug and play, let's go, you know. And and guys kept kept making plays, and it was cool to see you have a moment after the game with Doug to talk about or at least reflected at all on what you got just real quick. I'm sure we will you know, this week or I should say

tonight here. But it's just cool. You know, he's been believing in all of us and just kept preaching belief in each other and in the coaches, and everyone just bought in and trusted everybody, and um, it's been pretty cool, right of course. And this game was fight seventeen all and you talked about belief. I mean, you guys believe it that quick. That you were going to find a way to win this game. Absolutely. You know, guys never

hung their heads. Um, you know, sake one had that long run and offense, let's let's go get it out of them, you know. In defense obviously they're frustrated by it, but you can see it in their eyes. They were gonna go make place, you know. And so we went down and scored. Um they had the big stop, the big turnover, and um, guys just fed off that emotion and that momentum and uh, you know, forty knew it

was what was it thirty four? Um, seventeen. So that was pretty cool the way guys rallied around each other last time the NFC East. You were right healthy? Does it feel different? And how much better right now to celebrate with the guys that's a healthy guy. Yeah. I mean, like I said, I can't say it enough. I'm just grateful to be healthy. You know. I think the last few years they give you time to reflect and really think about this. So it's there's moments like this that

I definitely don't take for granted. Um that I'm very grateful to be out there with my guys. And we're playing in January and I'm thankful for that heard you that it was sort of the inverse. You were healthy, but nobody else was. Hey, that's been the story ever since I got in the league. You know, it's been the next man up every year. You've seen the adversity that we've dealt with, and guys keep doing a great

job stepping up. And like I've been saying, you know, we're excited to hopefully go go make some noise over the last four games, you've really had to win almost all these games in the fourth quarter. Was the belief building that first Giants game, you still when you're missing a lot of guys, and then you have to distill that belief and everybody, Um, I mean that was obviously

a big turning point. You could say, I'm just the way we had had a terrible first half offensively, and it was hey, vaccines the wall and um, you could you could argue from then on, it's just that belief in everybody, um, and trusting everybody that no matter who's out there, they're gonna make the play. And that's me trusting them, throwing them the ball, um, guys, trusting me with what I'm route I'm giving them and everything in between. Um, it's been fun to see guys buy in and keep

making play. NFC is not enough. I mean he could have just said Champs. Yeah. I mean I first of all, didn't design the shirt, but I think its first three. Um. I think my wife's probably mad I'm not wearing this suit full suits she picked out. But UM no, I mean we're still hungry, you know. I think that's that's concept is we're still hungry. We're not done. Um, and you know, we're extremely pumped in and thrilled about this win here, but we'll enjoy tonight, but we're back at

it tomorrow. You guys, about a lot of success the beast few weeks. Um, getting those trunk plays, especially in the passing game today downfield, what do you think that's a functional? Um, you know, kind of evaluate that that area? Good game? Yeah, Um, first of all, great play design, um, you know, and and teams, I mean it seems every week they just keep getting safeties, keep getting lower and lower, and for us, it's all right, we got to find

a way, you know. And coach had some great play designs to get me out of pocket and push the ball down the field. And guys made some great plays, made some great plays, and that's something that we got to keep taking advantage of. Talk about the throw of Perkins on the touchdown past, but you kind of had to throw it a long way there when didn't you see him? I mean that that wasn't I imagined the first read well they had they had to cover pretty well,

and that was the play design. Um. It just wasn't supposed to happen that that late. Um, Like I said, they had a covered pretty well. But Purchase kep running and out round the coverage and it is pretty sweet. It is Seattle that you play next week. What is it about that that first meeting that you remember? I wish you could have back again. I just just remember the turnovers, you know, I thought offensively, I thought we

did some decent things. We just gave him the ball, you know, and and those are things that that we'll get cleaned up. And we're excited for the opportunity of whoever may be. And like I said, we're pumped that it's at home. You know, we're gonna take advantage of that team and we're gonna have some fun next weekend. When he was in here, mentioned his coaching staff and how how he was and then forgetting all the moving parts ready. You just mentioned the play calling. What has

Mike Crowd done for you over these best weeks? Yeah, Coach Crow does a trend's job every week, you know, putting together's offense really um and and started it starts with him obviously offensively and Coach Peterson and then each position coach has done a great job making sure of these young guys and all these new faces and different things going on, moving pieces that we have, making sure guys are locked in on the on their task and

ready to make plays. And um coaches have done an amazing job, you know, and just finding what guys do best and putting in those situations and to make big plays. And you've seen that the last few weeks. Did you ever big guys you've been throwing to like you know what you playoffs on the line, you know, Dion d Burnett you forty one yard We're going to touch John Bustin Scott too sweet past crazy. Yeah, Like I said, I just think it makes it that my sweeter. You

know that that guys have been UM. Obviously, you don't want injuries, You never want to deal with injuries, but it's part of football and for for a lot of these guys, UM, coming from a practice squad, being young, you know, the journeys that a lot of them have been on. I think it makes it that much sweeter to be a part of guys doing you know, doing this stuff and doing something special together and buying in UM.

And again, I think it's it's pretty cool watching the postseason for the the last two years, I learned that I was hungry to get out there, you know that more than anything, it was frustrating to watch UM for me personally, But like I said, I'm grateful for this opportunity and we're gonna make most of it. This is two years as a relative Carson, you guys have hit your peek again of the year. Well, what is it about the team, the infrastructure that's not that can't be a coincidence? Yeah,

I think. I mean, first of all, it's a great time to to be hitting our stride for one UM, you know. And and obviously, like we said that, there's been a lot of ups and downs and different things all season long. UM, but guys are hung together and I really finding what we're good at and what we're

what we do well. UM And putting guys in the right situations and so guys just keep believing, fighting, Um, and it's been cool to see us, you know, hit our stride now and hopefully we've been carried over into the playoffs. Thank you guys. All right, it certainly is a great time to be hitting our stride. You know what they say about teams that play well in December, they usually do pretty well, Uh do pretty well? Um, period.

Of course, we love that that look Carson was rocking the East is not enough with the NFC East Championship had on. Here's a look in the locker room after this victory. I wish I could feel this, uh feel the energy and uh you know, kind of smell the air a little bit like playing in the backroom rereams and night of course, as its tradition for the Eagles as well. Um, look at this, gotta love it. Look at these guys. These are the guys that these are the guys that got this team here. They have got

to be so proud and so excited. Um. I just I can't even imagine just the jubilation that is going on in that locker room and throughout the Eagles fan base. All right, speaking of jubile lation. You know who is probably pretty jubilant today. My favorite merrill reathe. We have our compilation Merril cam from this exciting Eagles win over the Giants. Let's take a look. Daniel Jones calling for the football. He's back, he's looking, He fires and it's

incomplete broken up. Great play by Provin le Blanc. Knocking the ball and tended for take away. Slaton out to the far side, slot to the near side. Third and eight for the Giants. Ball at their own twenty seven. In the gun, Daniel Jones. Jones takes the snap and back pedals again. He steps up, he's looking, he's head. They've got him inside the fifteen. Brandon Graham tackle for

loss and sack Wentz in the gun. He fakes, he looks, He screens at the Scott who leaps and makes the catch, beats his man forty forty five fifty forty five, forty down to the thirty five goes dynamic Boston Scott went on center, Scott behind him. On first down, Wentz fakes to Scott, he's rolling, he's looking, still rolling, fires across the field and it has caught for a touchdown. Josh Perkins.

Josh Perkins a twenty four yard touchdown pass from Carson Wentz, who only threw it from about to twenty five, but he threw it forty seven yards across the field whiteside and ward to the far side, and the gun Wentz Scott to his right, first in goal ball at the seven. Wins comes back, gives it to Scott again. He is pushing. He is in for a touchdown. Boston Scott did it. Jones calling for the football, he fumbles it, he is hit.

The football is fumbled. The Eagles are after it and it is picked up again and it is recovered down at the one by Fletcher Cox. Fletcher Cox at the one yard line as Daniel Jones lost the football for the eleventh fiveless season, and the gun Daniel Jones, the former Duke star backs up, steps up head and Danny goes again at the twenty. He sacked by Derek Porland. It does not get better than that, right there, all right?

As always might quick one on one with head coach Doug Peterson after the game, Let's take a look, coach, Congratulations on being the NFC East champ. Do you get to enjoy this at all? Oh? Do you just right back to work. You know, obviously we're gonna we're gonna enjoy it for maybe twelve hours or so, honestly, and we are excited where we're thrilled to death to to what we've gone through this season to be the NFC

East champs and put ourselves in the postseason. But you know what I'm most proud of is how these guys are continuing to talk about the upcoming week and going and preparing again this week. And um, that's the exciting part for me. So we'll get back, we'll we'll watch this tape, we'll make the corrections, and we'll find out who we're going to play next weekend and and prepare. Well. You talk about the ups and downs of this season, how do you continue to do it with all of

the losses, all the things you've dealt with? You know, I lean on you know, Mike growm coordinator UH and my coaching staff really UH to put a lot of these pieces together and a lot of these players, you know, in the right spots, and we got a lot of young players, and and then and then for Carson Walsh to keep coaching these guys and do stayley to coach, the young players that we got and you know, Justin Peel has a couple of new tight ends that are playing,

and um, you know, my hat's off to that, to my staff, and they deserve a lot of credit for forgetting these guys ready to go and mentally prepared more than physically, because I mean that's that's a lot of it this time of year. So and then for me, it's just about just I gotta stay consistent with the entire team. My messaging has to be consistent. I gotta get them to believe in themselves number one, and that we could get the job done. Fourteen minutes left in

the fourth quarter, who was tied seventeen seventeen? You go on to real off seven team points. How big was the defense in that second half? Defense stepped up really big there in the fourth quarter. Um, you know, got a couple turnovers for us, obviously put us in great field position, Um, you know to score one drive. Then we had a long third down screen pass the Boston that set up another one. And then of course Sydney at the end with the interception. So you know, that's

just what it takes. It takes, Uh, you know, a couple of couple of plays here and there to swing your way and the momentum changes, and um, you know, offense did offense did enough, you know, got in the end zone when we had to and uh just again a great team win. What do you think caused Daniels to hold on to the football as much as he did? Daniel Jones many times he was pumping the football and you're able to get sex on him, gets on him.

I think it credit goes to the secondary. The guys were really kind of swarming and blanketing the receivers and and that's just what happens when the guys aren't open, you end up pulling the ball, you know as a quarterback. And and and so we were able to get to him. The pass rush you know was generated. We got hits on him and obviously it caused it caused them one fumble which we capitalize on. Offense. Sidney Jones now for three weeks in a road duck, he's come up with

big plays on the back end of the defense. Got to feel proud of Sydney from what Yeah, all that he's gone through, Yeah, what he's battled through to come in here, and he's playing with a lot of confidence. A lot of our young players are really stepping up. He's one of them, um, And to see what he's done here now, this this last half of the season or last month of the season, to make these types

of plays. These are you know, these are these are pressure situations, and we know that teams are going to target you know, Sydney, They're gonna target result, They're gonna go after our young dbs. And and yet they keep making play after play after play, and I'm just so proud of Sydney what he's gone through and how he's faced his own adversity. Thanks Coach, enjoy the win and

good luck next week. Thanks Mike Gilling. Great stuff there from Coach and Mike, And of course the resiliency continues to be a theme for this for this Eagle squad, and we heard exactly that from coach there. ACME, the official supermarket of the Philadelphia Eagles. All Right, as we continue breaking down an exciting Eagles win, Josh Perkins four

catches for fifty yards and a touchdown. That touchdown the subject of today's RICO review, friend Duffy breaks it down for us right here. Thanks Amy. Now, let's take a look at that touchdown in the second quarter from Carson Wentz to Josh Perkins, really well designed play to attack the New York Giants in their zone coverage they're playing. It looks like cover three here on this play in

the high red zone. You're gonna get the Eagles heavy personnel here because you've got an extra offensive lineman there, Andre Dillard, the rookie first round pick, is lined up, and this is just gonna be a simple shot play. You're gonna have a two man route off max protection. Greg Ward is gonna run deep down the field on a deep crosser, and you're gonna have Josh Perkins working on a deep crosser. Carson Wentz after this play fake to Boston Scott, he's gonna roll to his right. This

is gonna be his landmark right here. You're gonna see he's got a nice wall of protection to be able to survey the field. So let's let this play out and see how the Eagles do this. Because again, heavy run look to start, you're gonna get the play fake to Boston Scott. The Giants are now retreating into zone coverage and you've got a nice wall of protection here, so Carson Wentz has plenty of time to be able to survey the field and find out where he wants

to throw this football. We're gonna let this run and you're gonna see he's gonna throw this across his body to Josh Perkins in the backside of the end zone against this Cover three scheme. And now we're gonna go to the replay and be able to see exactly how Josh Perkins was able to get open, because this really came as a result from a very good route from Perkins and the Giants just not being overly aware. On the back side of this play again, you've got Perkins.

He's gonna initially work vertically up the field, pretend as if he's gonna run to the corner just to throw that defender off, and then he's gonna break back the other way. So a really good route here from Perkins. They can let this run again selling that vertical stamp. Then he's gonna work hard to the outside, get that corner to flip his hips, work across the face of the free safety. That corner, DeAndre Baker not prepared there because he had just passed off greg Ward before the snap.

He was lined up one on one with greg Ward. He passes him off is not in position to be able to defend Perkins, and number eighty one comes down with the catch. Great thrill from Carson Wentz. Eagles get into the end zone. Take a ten to three league

going into halftime. All right, great stuff as always there from Fran and Fran will continue to have more from this game, breaking it down throughout the week, as well as a look ahead to our next opponent, which we are still waiting to find out though the Niners are up three to zero in the first quarter at last look, all right, we're taking one more quick break on the other side. Now is your chance To vote for the Toyota Player of the Week, go to Philadelphia Eagles dot com slash Toyota Player of the Week to cast your vote and get a chance at a brand new Toyota. Three very worthy nominees this week for the Toyota Player of the Week.

Boston Scott with his three touchdown performance, Fletcher Cox continuing to put pressure on the Giant's quarterback, including a massive fumble recovery game change play there, and Carson went surpassing four thousand passing yards, the first time it's ever been done in Eagles history, as well as recording a touchdown pass in a sixteenth consecutive game every game of the regular season, also never been done in Eagles history. This is a tough choice there. There's three really really good

choices here. I think I'm leaning Carson considering the massive milestones he has accomplished today and where he is going down in Eagles laure Although Boston Scott with a three touchdown performance, I mean that's the most rushing touchdowns since Shady in twenty eleven. So you know, I like the favorite of defense, and they really turned this game when it was Todd seventeen to seventeen. That play was the

game changing. It really was so. But man, if I'm looking at the entire game, I think I gotta give it to the new Giant Killer, to Boston Scott. Giant Killer. B West is the old Giant Killer, but I gotta go with I gotta go with Boston Scott. Three touchdowns. Annie. Annie was a huge in the first Giants win, so

that's why he gets the new Giant Killer label. Look, and I feel like next man Up could be the theme of the year, certainly a guy who is making the most of his opportunity when his number is called. All right, as we look ahead to next week, we're still waiting to find out when our game is and who are we playing. We don't know. It's also exciting. That's one of the thrilling things about this time of the year is that you're kind of watching and waiting

to see when things are going to evolve. So we don't know if we'll be Saturday or Sunday, but we will be back here thirty minutes before kickoff of that game, and of course immediately after with the postgame show. As always adding to the we don't know who we're playing

when we're playing. I don't even know who's all going to be playing when they get on the field next week, so as so many questions, but we do know we will be playing next weekend and it will be a home game in South Philadelphia, so of course no overstating the home field advantage there as well. Again, score update, Niners are up three day zero with five minutes remaining in the first quarter. We will be playing the loser

of Seattle San Francisco. One of those two teams will be coming to South Philadelphia either on Saturday or on Sunday, and we will of course be here on the on the pregame show thirty minutes before that and the postgame show as always very exciting. We have a lot to celebrate this week, but it's well maybe for a day. We'll celebrate for a day and then we lock in on the next opponent. All right, as Ike is going to celebrate because this new year's team, he's got big plans.

I'm going to be focusing along with this team on the next opponent. It's want to know this week is the mantra as always, all right, we will see you all next week. Enjoy this Eagles win and we'll see you next week.
