There. It is the big turning point in today's game. The Panthers trying to punt T J. Edwards with the block, Sean Bradley comes up with the recovery the Eagles. Jalen Hurts runs it in for his second rushing touchdown of the day. Eagles fans come on in. A win's a win, and the Eagles got it today down in Carolina. Not too pretty at times, but the Eagles find themselves back in the win column. Gabriella D. Givanni here with Fran Duffy and I Grease. Where do we start, guys, Well,

victory is a victory, right. You're gonna take the wins any way that you can get them. It certainly wasn't the prettiest of games for three and a half quarters there if you're looking for explosive offensive plays coming off of the way they played last week versus Kansas City. But I gotta be honest with you, being a defensive guy and primarily a special teams guy, this game warms my heart. I mean, this was This was one of those games where the defense needed to answer the call

after last week giving up touchdown after touchdown. They answered the challenge from their head coach. They came out today and they were truly the difference makers. We knew it would be a different game for the offense going up against a better defense today, so the Eagles defense needed to steal some possessions. They were able to do that, got their offense some short field position, and finally man a block punt to set up the game winning score

for the Eagles. It doesn't feel as good as it should, but on the plane ride back, I guarantee you I win as a win. And that's the thing is that when you have a win like this, you can kind of look at this in two different ways, right guys. It's if you want to try and make sure you're competing at the end of the year, you need as

many ws in the first half as possible. And for a new regime, a new coaching staff, having a win like this can be one of those character building wins that later on in the season you reflect back on, Hey, remember when we were down in Carolina, we never were out of it. We've stayed, we fought, we got back tooth and nail and came back and won that football game.

And it took all three sides of the football it absolutely took all three sides, but starting kind of where I did on the defense, I think this was a huge bounce back game for the defense. Last week, the offense and showed up big, the defense couldn't get it done. This week, it was a little bit different. The first half felt very similar, honestly to the Dallas game, where the offense just couldn't establish a rhythm. They couldn't get things going. They looked like they were struggling with the

game plan that was at hand. Some of the play calling looked difficult for them to execute. But the defense. The difference in this game in the Dallas game was the defense was able to keep digging the offense out, digging them out, digging them out until they could get something going. Yeah, and we knew that the Carolina offensive line was the week pointed this offense. Dallas had a field day getting at the Sam Donald last week, so you knew that the Eagles were gonna make some hey

against this offense. It was gonna start up front, and our defensive line led the way. Jay Von Hargray every week he's in the backfield getting a sack. Fletcher got his first sack of the season Josh Swept with a sack as well, and we got turnovers once they started

hitting Sam. Sam Donald became a different quarterback. Three interceptions by the Eagles cornerback duo here in this game, and the big thing for me just looking at down and I think on both sides of the football, you can look the Eagles offensively struggled on third down in this game. A lot of those third downs though, third and six, third and seven, third and nine, third and long. Right then you go to some of those big stops on

third down. You mentioned the sack by Cox, the sack by Hargrave, the sack by Josh Sweat, what happened with him, They were third and long sacks. The defense a lot more success when it's not third and two, third and three, third and one, where the offense now just has to play pitch and catch underneath a lot of the buzz going into this game with Sam Donald's ability to run the ball. So far this season, we haven't seen much of what Sam Donald as a quarterback in the league

has looked like. When he was in with the Jets. We've seen a little bit more of him, But like you said earlier this week, just because these rush for five touchdowns this season doesn't make him Lamar Jackson, right, But I think the good thing that the defense did today was pressuring him, pressuring him, and that's when Sam Darnold goes back to those things that he struggled with

early on in his career. He throws those interceptions, and when you can stack turnovers like that, I think it creates such a momentum shift for this defense to keep coming back onto the field and just chipping away. Yeah, I thought I thought the defense did a nice job of keeping the big play off of them. They didn't get the ball thrown over their head, started creeping towards the line of scrimmage a little bit more each each series.

Carolina had some success running the football. I think there were times where they were able to take advantage of some of the defenses that we were in. But I noticed that Jonathan Gaining switched some things up to date,

gave Carolina some different looks. Stuff that they saw the film wasn't necessarily what they saw out there today, and I think that helped out from a coverage standpoint, that allowed our cornerbacks to at least sit back there and keep their eyes on Sam Donald felt like a little bit more cover three. We need you have a single high safety. That second safety rolled down. But I don't want to get too carried away with that until going

back and watching the film. But certainly Veagles having more success being able to slow those drives down, not as many big chunk plays, both on the ground and through the air. I'm curious to see what you guys think about the linebacker play today. We talked a lot about the pressure up front, but I as though some of the struggle still came with that linebacking corps at times. Yeah, you know, Chumba Hover had a nice day of running the football. We still need to do a better job

of getting off the blocks. Still too much catching and trying to run around blocks. And in the NFL, you do that, the offensive linemen just push you past the hole, and the running backs are so they're so smart and they're patient, they'll just wait until that lane opens up. We need to do a better job of attacking downhill, press those linemen bag in the hole, and then more importantly, get off the blocks and be able to make the tackles. Until we prove we can do that, we're gonna get

those talse cracks. We're gonna get the tame same type of runs they started against the San Francisco forty nine. Is we're gonna see that every week, Yeah, no doubt. And I think that that too is the big thing when you look at this defense and how they're trying and how they try to put this thing together, is that you're gonna get some big runs, right, You're gonna get some of those tube hover to the to the outside for seven, get them out for six, get up

for five. But when they throw the ball, they were able to squash down on Sam Darnold and those receivers four third and law and get off the field. And the other part of that is Jonathan Gannon, the design of this defense when they run it is to give up those type of plays. Again, it just worked to perfection to day because once Carolina got down to the red zone, they weren't scoring touchdowns. You know, once they got close to them green zone, they weren't scoring touchdown.

Kicked a lot of field goals today, So they moved the ball in between the twenties, but they didn't lead the touchdowns. For all right, let's measure the offensive side of the ball. Big thing that everybody was looking for this week to see how the Eagles can capitalize in the red zone, something they've struggled with the past few weeks. They can march down the field, but they could not score when it came to the red zone. So we did see some scoring in the red zone today, which

was great. However, that first half, like we touched on when we opened the show, was tough for that Eagles offense. Yeah, the offense didn't really get unlocked until they had the big play to Quiz Walkings in my opinion, and then you know, Jalen was able to run that in for a touchdown. The block punt obviously set up great field position led to the game winning touchdown. Down some things to be to be corrected. From an offensive standpoint, I'm not so sure they came in with the same game

plan they ran against the Kansas City Chiefs. I would have liked to have seen a little bit more of that, a little bit more throwing the ball down the field. It seemed as if Carolina was aware about the deep ball and for the most part in the first half, and they forced everything to be thrown underneath, and that makes it it just makes it hard for an offense to really score if you don't have the explosive plays.

I mean, when you think about the touchdown we scored, it came from the Quiz Watkins explosive play, those eight ten play drives. Man, that's what the defense wants you to have to do in order to score. No question. We talked about that on the defensive side, and that's why the defensive identity is what it is, right because it's hard to do that on offense. I think I think the big thing early in this game, you just

couldn't get Jalen Hurts into a rhythm right. And when you reflect back on the win in Atlanta even last week against Kansas City, Jalen Hurts was in that rhythm early and often, and I feel like that led to sustained success. We just didn't get that early. But like I said, after that deep ball of Quest Watkins, I thought they moved the ball really well. Last week. You know, the story was it was one of Jalen Hurts as if not his best performance so far in the league.

So it seemed like two different quarterbacks. Really we're looking at from last week to this week because last week he commanded the offense, he had so much pois. His pocket presence was very, very impressive. He was throwing really good screen passes. The screen pass was not working out too well today. So it was just interesting to see coming off of the game he had last week. We talked so much about confidence in his development and his growth.

I'm not saying he took a few steps back. It just was different quarterback play than we saw last week. Oh yeah, welcome to the life of an NFL quarterback. It's gonna be that way from week to week. Some defenses you face, you're gonna hear your eyes are gonna pop because you want to say, man, we got a lot of opportunities to make some plays there. And then there are some defenses that you're gonna face and you're

gonna find out it's gonna be tough slating today. I thought for the most part, he remained patient back there. You know, he obviously, like in every game, it's gonna be throws that he wishes he could have back. You know, guys that he may have missed that he wished he had gotten the ball too. But for the most part, I loved he never gave up, his confidence, never wavered. You saw him on the sideline, keeping his teammates head in the game, and he never held his head down.

And when your quarterback has the ability to have that type of mental toughness, you're never out of the game. You could tell all he was looking for was for his defense or somebody to give him an opportunity to make a play off TJ. Edwards at the podium whatever there. Yeah, it was something that you know, we worked during all week and um, you know, we knew if we got a certain look from them, if they blocked it a certain way, that we could switch it and go do

a different kind of rush. And um, I mean it just it worked out perfectly. Sean Bradley picked a hip and it was I was free. So it was just like how we drew it up. Yeah, yeah, I mean it's just it's the ultimate team sport, right. You need everybody, um, at all times to be at their best, and um, you know one side's not as well the other side. I got to pick them up just like you know, it's gonna happen other ways during another game. So um, it was really the ultimate team win. It feel great today.

I'd never block a point before, so it felt it felt really good. Um, yeah, first one, so hopefully more to come time. H Yeah, No, I thought he I thought he did well. I think every day comes in with the open mindset, wants to learned as much as he can. And um, you know, I think a guy who just comes in every single day and works and works and works and wants his body to be right, and um, you know, mentally he's doing everything he can

to be right for us. So uh, you know, obviously he's got a lot of a lot of talent and it's just good to see him out there healthy and running around. To be honest with him, yeah, yeah. They gave us a kind of the same look in one of our early rushes, and um, you know, we kind of just switched a couple of things up on the on the second rush and Ray we get home. So it was awesome. Yeah. No, I think we we all

wanted to come in and put our best foot forward. Um. I think that, you know, the past couple of weeks has been, um, not to our standard. And you know, when you get a bunch of guys who are working towards a common goal and want to do anything they can to help improve this team, um, you know, good thing is gonna happen, and we got the right leadership, the right the right guys in this room, and um, you know it just it just goes to show what you know, hard work and keeping your mind on the

right things we'll do for you. So I thought we played well today. Um, nothing, nothing too crazy. To be honest with you, I think it's just guys, you know, executing an assignment with violence, and um, knowing that we want to stop the run and we're you know, the foot off eagles. You know, we don't want to give up you know, big runs and things like that. So you know, obviously always room to improve, but just coming out there and putting our best foot forward, it felt

really good today. Yeah, there was no quit, no panic. Um you know, I think that the biggest thing that can happen is start freaking out and try to switch a bunch of things up. And um, you know, I think our guys just we just hunkered down and make sure that we were doing our assignment well. And um, you know I'll played them and scored more points than them. I just think it was it was such a big team win. To be honest with you, on all phases, good sir, I appreciate you all right. That was t

J Edwards. He was a difference maker today. He said, big team win. That's exactly what it was. And it's no secret who comes to town on Thursday, Tom Brady in the Buccaneers. So how important was this win today? Obviously they needed to find a way to get in the wind column. But knowing what's down the line, I know, you want to stay present and focus on what's at hand, but Thursday night comes pretty quick, Yeah, no doubt. I mean the players obviously aren't looking ahead to Thursday night.

Just the very fact that they've lost three in a row. I mean, that is a terrible taste of having your mouth in the National Football Wage. Consecutive weeks with losses, it makes the weeks seem so much longer. No one's happy at home, no one's happy walking around the building. So for almost a month the Eagles have had this cloud hanging over them. So today's win is a huge win just from a mental health standpoint, right, And they needed to get a w just so they can get

that confidence going again. I know the TJ said no one had lost confidence, but man, when you don't get the results you're looking for after all the work you put in, it can be deflating. So I'm sure this the rod back home is going to feel good for him.

It'll be a much more of a fun riding back home than we thought it would be after those first couple quarters in this game, I think the big thing is just again and he reflected on it very early there, TJ just a full team win, having all three sides contribute, having the defense pick up the offense when in the past it's been vice versa. I think that that was important a big takeaway here for this w Something important that I thought he said was at halftime, no one panicked.

Jonathan Gannon didn't panic and trying to make all kinds of adjustments, which I think the defense reflected that in the second half because they didn't really change too much up They stuck to what they planned to do. They had a better understanding what Carolina was showing them offensively, but they just stayed the pace. They stayed the course

of the game and ended up working out for them. Yeah, And I thought outside of the first drive that Carolina when they had the ball to them, you know, I thought the Eagles defense played pretty well in the first half no need to make a lot of adjustments. They gave up that field goal, but the fact is they held them to a field goal once they got down there. And I thought coming out in the second half that the defensive line would start to win those battles up front,

and that's really what took over. They were doing a nice job and the secondary switching up the coverages. You know, Darius got the interception in the first half, so not surprised that Jonathan Gannon didn't do a whole lot of adjustments at the half. Just fine tune some small things, but continue to get out to Sam Donald. And Sam Donald was a completely different quarterback in the second half. I thought in the first half he was too comfortable

back there. Second half he never looked comfortable. I think you mentioned the getting the cloud out from over your head with the wind, and I think that definitely is applicable for the entire team. But just defensively, think about those guys kind of exercising some of these demons. Right. You had Darius Slay come up with two picks, Fletcher Cox, he gets his first sock of the season. I think the defense as a whole, we're gonna feel pretty good I think coming away from this win, it was good

and he saw Josh Schutt, Barnett Williams. It was excellent to see from the defense. Looking at the other side of the offensive line, obviously still shuffling some things around. We saw Jordan my Lot at right tackles today. Andre Dillard stayed at left tackle since Jordan returned. M Definitely some struggles along that offensive line, but again we're looking at different combination week after week after week. There's there's some kinks you gotta work out, but they're rolling with

the punches. Yeah, and you know, Jordan my Alta gave up a couple of sacks out there today, But I'll take my hat off to Jordan Um playing a new position. I'm sure that knee isn't one hundred percent healthy. I've had that mcl sprain before. Um. He gutted it out. He was out there, looked tough to band at the knees at times. Hasan reddick nice job getting under the blocks out there and forcing Jordan to sort of get on his heels a little bit. But I thought for

the most part he battled Um. Like I said, gave up a couple of sacks, but I'll take my hat off to him. Man. He suited up and he went out there with his guys. They knew that they were short a right. We actually have to go back to the podium. DeVante Smith, Hey, y'all doing all right? Questions. Good for you guys to come back and get that win. I mean on sideline, that was talked the whole time, just keeping our heads up knowing that we was in

the game. Defense played great, knowing that they was giving us opportunities. So offense, we just had to keep lifting each other up, keep keep pushing. And that's what we did. So, I mean, it feels good back and I'm gonna win inside another I mean control you control, I mean, we don't have no control over that. Just keep pushing. I mean, just keep doing what we gotta do. Um, knew that there was gonna play a lot of zero, so that was the main thing. Noting that they was gonna play

a lot of zero. So we had an answer with the quick game. So just going in knowing that when they brought zero, we just had to have an answer for it. Um, just the intensity and just us being disciplined. We was killing ourselves. So it was just the whole talk was just stop killing ourselves, so to stop making a little small mistakes and just keep pushing. I mean, everybody's happen right now, exciting. Um, just just to keep going.

I mean the defense they did what they did. Um, they kept m getting stops for us, and we just went out there and just execute it. So that was the whole thing. Just on one side of the ball is um doing what they got to do that they're gonna pick the other side up. And that's what they did. Mindset. I mean after the fine ball, I mean I was little mad, but I mean you gotta let it go. Game still going. You can't sit up there, Um think about that the whole time. So I mean just corrected. No,

I gotta catch the ball and take it fast. So I mean nothing not control over there, just catching talking move on. So UM it was big because we needed that spark offense. We needed that big play, and that's that was what we were saying. We just need somebody to make a big play. And he stepped up and he made it. This our game. We knew it was never out of the game. Defense playing great, we just

gotta score. So that was the whole thing. Just hit the defense out because they're doing everything they can't for us, so let's do it for them. Oh man, every time we was in the hold, it's just like execute, be disciplined, do your job. Um No, I mean that's that's slay, big play slay, that's what we do. Um. So, I mean he went out there, he made plays, but um after the fun but he can't talk to him and say let it go. And I mean that's what I did. So.

I mean, like I said, defense played great. Gotta score. I mean, every time you go out there, it's like you have to score. But when that happened, I mean, it was a great feel position for us. It was like we gotta capitalize on it. Just everybody lifting everybody up because once again we knew we were still in the game. We knew that on offense you had small things to tune. Defense playing great, so everybody knew that

we were still in games. It was just lifting each other up, all right, thought your rookie DeVante Smith, he said, we were always in the game. But I feel like the Eagles were also in the game against San Francisco, in the game against Kansas City, in the game today. But today it worked. Yeah, and I think they finally are learning how to make the plays latent games, because this is what most of the games in the NFL

are like. They're going to be close games, and so it's the small things you gotta do latent games to be able to pull these wins out. And the fact that this was a complete team effort and the morale on the sideline was more of an encouraging atmosphere. The team is starting to build something. This is something you can build off. And I know we're looking at Thursday's game not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but these are the type of games that will allow you

to go into those types of games. What a lot of confidence before the game starts. It validates process, right, and this football is a process oriented sport. Everything is all about the preparation and leading up in practice and all the reps, everything you do in the meeting room, everything that you do away from the field. And so to have that kind of result for look a team that you know, we talked about it all the time

every single week. When you hear Jalen Hurts at the podium, here's Vante Smith at the podium, very business like, very process oriented. This kind of feeds into that mindset. Of course, he was asked about his touchdown that got taken off the board in the first half last week. The Eagles got three touchdowns taken off the board, all because of penalties. Okay, you have to lead the league in touchdowns being called back. Yeah, we're gonna go over to coach at the podium. Hey, guys,

how's everybody doing. Yeah, yeah, it was. It was emotional in there, you know, just getting that getting that win and coming in there and being able to celebrate because really, what that felt like was a complete team win. And that's what it was. When one unit's down, the other units have to bring it up, and it wasn't. The defense was felt like it was up the whole game, right,

They really did. They played an unbelievable game. Special teams were down a little bit early, but then they come back and make a play, and then the offense was down and then they gutted it out in the second half and some really meaningful play. So it was really again, it was just the definition of a team win. It was definition of what we talked about dog mentality. Because the offense it wasn't going good right for the offense. For a long time of that game it wasn't going good.

But when they needed to make plays at the end and it was still tight, they made the plays that we needed to make there. So I'm really happy for the guys. Every guy in there should be really happy for themselves. Um. Again, it's just a great team win, you know it was. It was just what the defense was giving him right there. It was just trying to get us into a flow of the game. We weren't in a flow in the first half and so and

we were doing some things where were some called runs. Um. So we went to a little bit of the quarterback read game, UM and got some good plays off of it. And so a good job by him. It really it really felt like we were in a rut all the way until that one where he pulled it right where he had the one where he pulled it around the edge and went up the left side. Um, Well, we had to quess big play before that, but um, that really helped us get going and be able to move

the football. So yeah, obviously I have to go back and look at everything about what we were doing. I could tell you you know, what they were doing. They had a good game plan for us, and they and they do a good job of scheming, uh the team that they're they're playing, you know, some different unscouted looks that they gave us and that we had to adjust to.

And you know, really happy with our offensive staff to get you know, especially the run game guys with a stout and Jason Michael that that kind of would feed in me a couple of really good runs that that we needed to get going a little bit in the run game. And then obviously too with what we did in the in the four minute was really good. Minus the stepping out of bounds, but the running of the football in that four minute when you had to run

the football was was really was really good and well executed. Yeah, uh yeah, it was. It was incredible. The guy came free off the right side. Again, I got to see why it came free and what happened, but the guy came free on the right side and he just scrambled and made a put big play found Davante in the end zone. Guys had good spacing as an offense in the end zone and Jalen just extended to play. And I mean because that guy came as clean as you

possibly could come again. I gotta see what happened. It happened fast, and I didn't see exactly what happened. My eyes were down the field. But to have a guy come that clean and be able to evade it and then get it and then make the two point conversion, that's huge because when you're up I always think this is an offense. When you're down three is an offense, you know, it's it feels different when you're down one, like you're, hey, let's go get a field, gonna win

this game. It does, it feels different. I thought that's a that's a huge play, not in just the sense that you go up three, but in sense of what it feels like as an offensive coach in that scenario and an offensive player in that scenario. So really good play. By how hard conversations that you had defensive room? Would you notice that guy? What kind of adjustment? Yeah, I mean the hard at any time you have a loss, you know there's gonna be hard conversations. Shoot, when you win, like,

there's gonna be hard conversations in the offensive room. Right when we watch this game. Now, we got to move on pretty quick. But when we're talking, when we're going on that plane ride home. There's gonna be hard coversations there. So the hard conversations is just being truthful with each other and holding each other uncountable no more in that.

And the hard conversations doesn't mean you know, I know, I'm fiery and I'm up in your face and this and that here and there, But that doesn't mean that's what it's like and there. It can mean that sometimes, but sometimes it's just the way. It's just being honest with each other and telling the truth. But great job of just the dog mentality of our defensive players and our defensive staff. I mean, they played, they played a great game. They have three we have three turnovers, so

that what it was, they have three turnovers? That how many sacks that we have three? That's it fell felt a little bit more all on third down, I mean, and then just what they were they just they just came together and played a great game. And it is and that's what this league's about. Like you're not gonna play your best game every week. It's about putting back, putting together, you know, starting again and starting again and starting again and starting again. That's dog mentality, I don't

you know. And that's gonna be the same message this week to the defense and the defensive coaches. Hey, you guys played incredible. You you you won this game for us. We start again, and we start again, and we start again and we start again. Conversation. Yeah, I thought like my job at that point was we all knew it was wasn't going great. It was like, Okay, it's not growing great. Why isn't it going great? And let's get solutions instead of you know, I've said this before about

my college coach Larry Harris. He was the type of guy that was in your face all week and then when the game came, he kept his composure of the entire time and made the adjustments needed to make to go and be able to do our job. And that's what I felt like. My job was a leader, like hey, I get it. And the same thing with when Miles stepped out of bounds there like he's like there there's an argument going on outside and said squash it. Next play next play, next, play, next play because and just

find the solutions of it instead of me. So there was I don't want to say it was hard conversations, just like what can we do to get going that's what it was more like, and that's all We're about to be able to do that in the midst of the game. Sure, yeah, I mean when you're you're looking at your call shot, your calling plays that you thought would be good and and you know, some of the quick stuff, some of the screens. Again that that's a tribute to them and how they played us a little bit.

I got so much respect for for Coach Snow and Coach Rule. They're really good, they're really good coordinators. They had a good game plan versus So we just had to switch it up a little bit. Um, you know, because we still through quick in the second we hit Davante on a slant, two slants, like so there were still some calls being being called and um that we wanted to get to. But some of that screen game

they took us out of. And that's sometimes that's all you need, right is a big play, like when the defense is keeping it close like that, When the defense is keeping it close like that and keeping you in the game and keeping you in the game, keeping you in the game. You know, we know we have good

playmakers on this team, explosive playmakers on this team. Like again, so it was just so much credit to the defense of keeping that close and then to hit that play that you know, almost breathe new life into the offense, right, and it's like, all right, let's go. And then you get a pass interference and then we get in on the goal line and we sneak it in and we get points there and make it make it a new game,

and and just it felt different after that. So um, so that that was a big play in the game, and great job by Jail and finding it a great job. I thought Jailing overthrew him. And it was just unbelievable to see to see Quez put the burners on and go and go and track that ball. So great, great individual play by both those guys. Protection was really good, felt like on that play as well. Yeah, execution was unbelievable.

I like, uh, you know, I've seen them working on that this week, um during practice during walkthrough, so well, well, uh, schemed up by by coach Clay, coach Pnunzio on coach Brown. They did a great job of scheming that play up, um, and then the players did a great job of execute and so um, it just was again that's why you practice, and that's why you walk through and that's why you do all those things because everything that comes up in

those and those things comes up in the game. So great execution and again that that that again just what the defense did, what the special teams did. It really, it really, it was just a total team win. Big gosh. I just I just saw the fight all game in the and again the dog mentality of it's not going well, but just keep going, or undefense, it is going well, just keep going. And so I just saw their fight in there in there and this their next play mentality

the entire game. Um, and that's what it's got to be, because it's it's sometimes you win ugly like that and that and that's just the way it is in this league. We all know that. We've all seen enough games where you there sometimes you win ugly, and but it's just a matter of keep fighting, keep going. And it was and we you know, it was emotional. It was good. It was a great win to get that. When you games are tight like that and you win that, that

feels great. That's a good emotion to have. Uh, you know, we look order to getting that being able to repeat that feeling that we had in the locker room. But it's a short week against a good opponent. Um, we know we'll have a challenge just this Thursday night, all right right now? Actually yeah yeah, you know, we got a great disguise as we man, we know our first thing was like ton of confused the quarterback as much

as we could. And we did that the day a little. Uh, we did that the day and um, like I said, um made the play that was coming to me that it need to be made. Man, No, I don't know. You must sat watch the game. Yeah I was. I'll follow in the whole game. Yeah what he that means because he motioned from that other side to that side, so he was on my side. I went to his side,

then he motioned over to another side. Yeah yeah bo did. Um. I was just looking at that as you know, I watched football, you know, um, were watching all kind of football, like a little defenses and uh and I know for Carolina's got a great defense. So my mindset was like, hey, man, we know as a defense, they got a great defense. On the end, we gotta get a ball number two a lot, I mean number one a lot, you know,

because they helped him out. You know, because like I said, they got a great defense over there, and uh, you know, we did our job try to minimize it and um, you know it was good on time of possession. You know, we try to help shorten that up for the offense to get the ball. So we did our job today and oh man, it's great. Man. It's a busy week though. Read but man, shout out to my teammates. Man for real though, because a lot of times I couldn't go

to practice. H I ain't getting a lot, ain't getting reps. Kind of like that, just walking through no zoom calls. Baby board was born, and um, you know Rod and all the dB guys, Man, I asked him. I told him, like a man, I'm need every one to day. You know, I ain't prepared to watch as much as I could, you know. Uh so man, just you know I lean

on no guys so well we could each other. And you know I appreciate them boys for have my back out there and put me position to make the places down to meet that second beneficial It's not it's just not beneficial to me. Is it beneficial to us as a team? Man? Uh? You know my coach, No, you know, I'll you know I love to compete, you know, So what we need me to do, I'm doing that at what I can. You know, so, uh huh isn't my best game? No? I mean I had a lot of

great games. Just that the fact that you know, some of the balls I didn't get through at and I'm just just the only we considered as the best game because I got two picks. But other than that, straight what I ain't had to you know, coach, Uh, I think coaches like you know what, slave, You're gonna just let you, you know, do what you want to do. You know, you go out there and compete. You know, like I said, it's the game plan. They drew a great grand game plan and uh, I got coach, No,

I want to I just want to compete. Man, whatever you need me to do, I'm gonna do it in my highsibility and um and I'm gonna do it for the team. Shot out yeah of course help you what do I mean? We're two different type of defenses. So you know I watched him because he followed DJ and um, you know song making plays you know a song with uh what I can steal from it? And you know, yeah, he over there playing great ball. So shoot, man, I

learned from everybody. I'm not one of them older guys that can't look at younger guys that I can't learn from them. I couldn't learn from them. I want to guys, I want to suck. I'm just sponge. I just want to know what everybody do to win. And um, I watched him play. He kind of like, you know, control the game with him. So I said, I'm still some of this. And then um, I started controlling the game. Huh Oh. I just told him we're about that fun man.

You your playmaker. Man, You're gonna make plays. Man gets gold on cat football. So I told him to be head, keep play man. We go. We're here for y'all. You know, as a team as a unit, we uh we helped each other up today and we did a great team win to day. Uh well, he ain't changed much. He ain't changed. He had to change that. What it is is that and you know it was just simple and easy for us, and um, you know, we went out there exec at a high level. And um, you know,

we always been talking about takeaways. Takeaways and we see how much of affect the game. And you know, and he's been telling y'all for longest that takeaways gonna come, And now that they came, you know, say how much we affect the game? You know we're doing oh man, Like I felt like, you know, they were in a two minute situation and I felt like, uh, you know, they were trying to get the ball to you know,

speed guy. Um I think to play previously before that they went to the same guy, and um, that guy has been lining up in that uh formation, you know all day. So I just kind of ready to play, you know, before it even happened, and you know made the play. I mean I really I'm following too, if you want to think about it, like, you know, he follows who he's following. You know, I got the other guy.

That's how I look at it. Yeah, I mean yeah, you know, match up, you know, put your best guys against our best guys and you know, um, you know our pass rush. You know, we got a lot of guys up there, you know, so Russian coverage go together. Yeah yeah, I feel like, um, that's pretty much how it happens, you know. Um, you know, it's just one of those things that you know, you can't really time or put a timetable to it. You know, it's just

they just occur. You know. I think we proved that for one, we're a tough team, you know that, uh you know, can fight back through anything. And uh, you know I told you guys earlier in the week, like it's still early. You know, we're still trying to iron out some kinks, man, and uh, you know we came and you know got the victory today. Man, that was huge. Man.

I mean those guys getting pressure all day, you know, making that guy you know kind of throw off, throw off his back leg and you know, get him a little routed a little bit. You know, all we had to do is you know, be tight and coverage and you know, be there on the spot. Say that again, m hm um, Like like I said, like Slay, you know he's following a little bit um this week. And I think you know, we did a lot of our

same things. You know that we did. You know, I can't really give you guys a game playing, but uh, I definitely think we came out of executed right. Yeah, yeah, hi each other. I was definitely a momentum swing um when coverage and rush working together. We're trying to get to the quarterback and they picking off Boss and even the block punt. It just changed the games. Uh uh. I mean we really just had to forget about last

weekend move on. This was our challenge is trying to stop Carolina, and we just wanted to a big bounce back game. It wasn't everybody yourself. I mean, it's never just me. Um We got great guys on our d line, and everybody can win, um up front, so you just make everybody's job easier to win. Everybody can win any one the once. How I man just been blessed. Uh had some layoffs. Guy, I've been looking over me um Man. Just I mean, just continue to try to work every

day and get better every week. Understandings. I mean, we're just trying to get wins. Um. It's hard to win in the NFL, so anyone we can get with, y'all appreciate it. Forward like this, I don't think we really care how we win. We're just trying to win every week. Um, And we definitely needed this win head into a short week, so we just gonna try to pick up on this next week. I think everybody, just the coaches and players, we just all just happy right now. Definitely, it was

great uh, with a sack end and win. It was definitely a great time to be at home. All right. We heard from a handful of players, defensive guys as we talked about the defense showed up so big today. But great to see jay Von Hargrave consistent weekend and week out. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, listen, we say it every weekend, guys. The best player on the defensive

side of the football shows up every week. Just saying disruptive force, I mean, really needs to be a for from an offensive lineman standpoint as to where his number ninety seven lining up at, and they still can't block you. But I like that. Greg Olsen pointed out something that is keen. We talk a lot about Fletcher Cox and whether or not he's you know, lost his staff as a king though not having the same amount of production. But Greg Olson pointed out, and rightfully, so offensive lines

are still turning their protection to number ninety one. They want to know where number ninety one is at, and so that's going to allow for jay Von Hardgrave to get those single blocks and he's taking advantage of them. So I just wanted to point out that it is a team pass rushing sort of concept and the attention that's drawn from the other guys allows for jay Von to do what he's doing. Not that he isn't a great player, but just want you to know that the

other guys also are helping in his success. And to continue that point, what happened when the OFFENSEI are we're gonna slide our protection towards Javon Hargrave, well flex and he gets over the right. So absolutely, those guys playing off each other A great takeaway from today. I don't I don't think it's lost on any of those guys that they feed off of each other, that their success

is determined by all of them, not just one of them. Yeah, and and the other thing I thought I thought Steven Nelson pointed out is that the pass rush helps the coverage. The coverage also helps the pass rush. So when those guys on the back end are doing a great job of making the quarterback hold the football, now our guys up front had the opportunity to get after the quarterback.

So today was a great example. I have both work with each other, because once Sam Donald started getting hit, he started throwing that ball up there, and the dB started getting interceptions. You're when you're in the film room on Monday, is that something you're like yelling through through the wall at the DV. He's like, hey, hey, he's good. Give me some of that. Yeah, yeah, I mean, listen,

you gotta you gotta that. That's when the cornerbacks have to recognize that, and you gotta bring donuts in for the big fellas. Donuts in for the big fellas fed out the FEEDOM Well, I think it will be interesting. You know, we've been hinting at the quick turnaround for Thursday night, but the most interesting thing I think to look out for is because of this bounce back we saw from the defense this week, how can they stack that for Thursday Night. It's got to be the guys

up front. I mean, that dude playing quarterback is arguably the smartest football player ever, but he's no different from any other quarterback than if you get hits on him, it's going to affect him in the pocket. So my biggest thing is with Tom Brady, leave as many guys as you can in coverage to close some of those windows up, and you gotta get after him with the front four. And I like our chances. I like our front four especially interior guys, they're get a chance to

get out to Tom Brady. He likes to step up in the pocket. Not with ninety seven to ninety one there, he won't be stepping up. That's the thing is that with Tom Brady, like you know, the area that he stays on every he's not lea. It's about trying to get to that spot. And you're gonna do it with a four man rush. You're not fooling him with any kind of blitz. Is here upfront well, and he's seen how many defenses in his career, He's seen it all.

He kind of just he kind of recognized and read a defense probably better than any quarterback at this point in time. Um, And so that will definitely be a challenge. But I don't think something that is too big of a challenge for this Eagles defense. I agree, I agree. Listen, Like I said, he's like any other quarterback. If you get enough hits on him, it's gonna start to affect

him back there in the pocket. And especially at the tender age of forty four, as young as he is, Um, those hits start to add up and they start to accumulate. The biggest thing for us I believe will be is how we hold up on the back end versus those skill position guys. He's about Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and

potential Hall of Famer and Antonio Brown. Yeah, that's that's a lot to have to handle from a coverage standpoint, and that's that's what makes defending that Tampa offense difficult for teams, especially because it's not even just those three guys. You've got the tight ends there are a big part. It doesn't look like we'll see rot Rob Gronkowski on Thursday night, but you still have Cameron Brayton, O J. Howard, and then they can run the ball. That's the thing.

Get Leonard Fronette going downhill. He's a perfect fit for what they want to do offensively. You mentioned tight ends, and I want to kind of talk about the Eagles tight ends real quick, quiet day for them. They've been very useful in this offense the past few weeks in a variety of ways. Whether it just be kind of their versatility and the ability to switch off between Zach Ertz and Dallas Goddard. Obviously both of them are great blockers as well as pass catchers, but today they weren't

too involved. Yeah, I'm not sure why. Maybe the cover is dictated that Jalen goes somewhere else with the football. That can happen at times. I gotta admit, man, I'd be looking for a number eighty eight, number eighty six, big bodies, they have their catch radius, both of them pretty good shorthanded receivers. And Dallas, my goodness, once he gets the ball in his hands, I've never seen anybody where He's rarely tackled by one guy once he gets

the ball in his hand. So, particularly when you get down in the red zone, you want to see the tight ends become more of a focal point. Again, I don't know if the coverage that the Panthers were playing sort of dictate that Jalen goes somewhere else with the football, But I know as a quarterback, tight ends are your safety blanket and they usually are right down those hashes, and that's what Jalen likes to throw the ball. Yeah, Dallas left a touchdown on the field with a drop

late in the game. Zach Hertz was targeted early on third down, but a couple of completions there again the offense unable to get into a rhythm from a pass game standpoint, and when you're not in that rhythm, now all of a sudden, you're getting off the field. Not a lot of balls going on. We're gonna head over back to the podium, Jordan Mylattagy h still need a couple more practices at the wipes. So I'm surprised you should remember that, um, but yeah, it was. It was

a good outing um for the boys. Just shout up, you know what this team, what kind of character this team has, and super proud of the defense and the offense. Will fighting, you know, to the end of the game. Yeah, yeah, next play. So that's what we said to each other. When I gave up those two sacks. He came up to me, he said next play. When he threw that pick, I said next play to him, and we just kept fighting to the end. You know. That's the one thing

that coach coaches is um us. You know, perseverance, great, what kind of character? What kind of character do you want this team to have? And so is that next play mentality, next man up mentality? And I think we're gonna be just fine. Great. Yeah, it's like, yeah, I dude, it's kind of weird playing with the brace on. I feel like a robot, really stiff. Um, I'm not gonna have to watch the film. Um. I honestly thought I had some great reps. Um. You know, I felt like

at home again. Um. And there were some reps where you know, I was just laid off the ball or you know, it was just so loud in there that the point was a bit confusing. We'll play we were running. So yeah, I just got to look at the film and be really hard on myself next a couple of days. Yeah, I was late. Yeah, I'm not going to route out anybody. So um yeah, see you mean Jacks. That might be a coach question. To be honest, I just say, yes, sir, go over there, do my job. Turns out we did

that play like how many times? We run that like five times, and it worked five times. So yeah, it was the timeline. It was the timeline. And you know, I think when you missed out two games, you kind of just want to double down. Your coach is big on doubling down on the process, and so for me, I had to focus on what was in front of me,

and that was my rehab. So I doubled down to my rehab to come back and play UM with Carolina, and so whatever the team needed, I just say yes, sir always, you know, I mean, you guys from Philly know me. Whatever the team wants me to do, they think that's best, I'll do it no matter how bad he's gone, how all these things are. Yeah, I mean it's I don't know, he's so like he's such an old soul. He's got an old head on his young shoulders. So and it shows very late in games. He's still

there talking us up. The great perseverance, you know, those are qualities that he himself possess. And he's a you know, he's all all by nor Buck. You know, he talks it and he walks it. And so that's it's very encouraging to see from your QB and you just want to make sure you have his back still being your friend. But what it's right now, it's great Andrea are great friends. Um. It's funny that he's kind of more relaxed now, So I kind of I love that for him. So you know,

like I said, we're good still good friends. We still have a laugh, um, even in the locker room. So yeah, initially reaction I happened late in practice. Just Scott rolled up on um. That was kind of mad at first, but then you know, those kind of things happen in practice and you just gotta take it with your stride um and so kind of just had to focus on my rehab getting back for the boys and and for this team. So yeah, that's what I did, just double

down on the process. Because all right, that was your right tackle Jordan Malata, who made the switch to the other side this week, returning from injury. He says he feels good. I don't know how much information he would give otherwise at the podium, but we talked about the offensive line earlier. They've they've been through the ringer just to start the season. Unfortunately, you have to give Coatal a lot of credit for coaching up these young guys.

Obviously it was a veteran offensive line to start and now he's plugged and played a lot of young guys. Yeah, and I think, listen, they look good last week versus Kansas City. This week, they gave up a couple of pressures, but Carolina is a type of defense that's going to bring extra pressure. So I wasn't totally surprised that they gave up a sack or two out there, But to your point, Jeff Stalin's did an awesome job with these

young guys and they're getting valuable experience. Right, even when the veterans come back, the fact that they will have played, these young guys will have played and got the game experience that they have it bows well for the future. And the the fact that they were put in in some difficult situations. This is good experience for him, right. The best way to learn is by being out there on the field. And Jodan my Lotta just exemplified this

selfless attitude on that offensive line. Willing to move the right tackle so that Andre Diller can stay comfortable over there left tackle just speaks to the type of player he is. And it never really seemed that there was a play where mentally that they weren't into right. Right. I mean that second sack that I think was attributed

to Jordan Milatta. I thought Greg Olson did an excellent job on the broadcast of pointing out that the entire offensive line was late coming off the ball, so something with the operation of the snap count was a little bit off on that play. But outside of that play, you didn't see them get completely fooled by a blitz and those mental gymnastics they're going to continue to Thursday night,

Todd Bowles and that defensive scheme. You know that they're one of the most blitz happy defenses in the NFL. So this offensive line, Jordan Milatta all the way across, Andre Dillard, everybody in between, they're gonna have to make sure they're on top of their game in this matchup on Thursday. And we know that the one of the hardest parts about playing offensive line is the cohesion aspect

of it, and so when you're switching guys around like that. Obviously, now Andre Dillard has some comfortability on the left side. You have to remember Jordan my Latta, he just started playing left tackle and now he's playing right tackle, which there could be pros and cons to that. He wasn't so settled in one position, and so that allows him

to be reverse the tile across the line. However, like you said to your point friend, there wasn't too much that was off from that offensive line, which is a huge credit to the way that these guys have worked through the offseason through camp together that they are able to step in for Lane Johnson, Brandon Brooks. They're not stepping in for no name guys, right Especially, it wasn't a game like last week. Sorry, We're like there's play action and moving the pocket and all the different screens

were hitting. Like last week, you would say, oh, that the game plan was great to help the offensive line out. I didn't feel like that was necessarily case in this one, that the offensive line had to hold up and protect. There was a lot of straight drop back pass and I thought they shot up well, yeah, justin on a fly last week. Lane Johnson being a late scratch before

that game. This week, the guys got a chance to practice together all week, So I think that was beneficiary to him too, that you know, you're not being thrown in and you hadn't had the chance to practice all week. At least this week they got a chance to practice as a unit. Landon Dickerson over there at left guard. He looked comfortable today. Didn't hear his number called on? I don't believe today. That's always a good thing when your number or your name isn't mentioned as an offensive linney.

And hopefully as they get more time to continue to practice together, you'll see that run game start to develop. You know, there's been a lot of criticism in the past few weeks where a lack of a run game. But hopefully over time as this offensive line can get a little more settled, God willing no more injuries and hopefully if Lane Johnson is able at some point to make a return, then that run game can get going.

But we're gonna head actually back to the podium when we're here from Jalen Hurts, m M, yeah, I think, Um, we're executed enough to win the game. You know, often you come, um, come back after, come back after the game, maybe you left some stuff out there on the field, and you say we didn't we didn't play well enough. Well, we didn't play to our standard today offensively, but it was enough. Um, So we're gonna go back to Filly with this win, probably not enjoyed for twenty five hours,

maybe maybe twelve since we got a short week. Twelve hours and um, get back to work. We got a big one Thursday night, y'all. Guys. Um, yeah, we were just executing. Um, it was executing at its purest form. Um running to play looks don't read making it making it happens, No, sir, No, sir, I'm not. I'm not. I don't want to talk about that. I want to talk about how the defense played. How dare Slay came out, Um.

You know at another you know, Munchkin to the to the bunch this week and came out here and got two two peaks, um and Nelson Um came out here and got a peek. Um. And in the clutch situation. Um. And one thing I've always been preaching, I've been preaching, Look, we control the outcome of everything. That's the mentality want to have. But I believe truly, Um, we got to have each other's back through everything. And today you know we had each other's back as a complete team win. Um.

You see special teams making the plays they're making. Um, defense making the plays they're making. Um, we had each other's backs. Um Man, that's the beauty of this sport. You know, get frustrated. So I always say, never get too how I never get too low. Um. You know, whether you whether it's a good, whether it's bad, you have a dog mentality and you flush it off. I'm

leaving and move forward. You know. But it's our adversion, it's our perseverance, and it's all Um, the ability overcome, you know, And and I've said it, I believe in this football team. Um, I believe in these coaches. I believe in everybody here. We have everything we need. Um, we just need to continue to grow. The process doesn't change for us. We're gonna continue to grow. UM one percent better every day. Pay I ran every day. Um, keep keep going. Far from a finish football uh, a

finish foot bought team, a finished product. Far from the finished product. Like, yeah, in that situation, you know, you don't know that they're gonna um take the take the seal route and leader lead a seven route open like that. And in a situation like that, you take a shot, take a shot down the field. He gets tacking on the fire aline game. Half time is here, half's over. So it was a selling situation where we're gonna take that quick get closer to field goals range, field goal range,

or sell out of the bounce. Um, And I was doing what I was closed to. Do you know you have something like that that happens yea quiz? Um, I mean I told y'all before he wasn't a secret. And um, he's a big time player, a big time play and in definitely did a lot for this football team today. UM. And once again, the defense, the way they played, UM, kept chopping at it, kept chopping at it. Offensively put

ourselves in in a ton of bad, bad situations. UM, a ton to overcome, but we presevered and where we overcame. He said the same, And it made me smile. It made me smile. UM, it made me smile because it's something that I preach. UM, I gotta taste of my own medicine right there in that moment, and it felt it felt good. It felt good. UM. Next play mentality, doll mentality, And that was just that was a situation where UM, I had to I had to have some

dog mentality, show some perseverance and overcome. UM. And I'm just so happy we came together and found a way to win as a football team. We we I'm telling you man, I said, I said, I said it. Now we're still very close all self inflicted wounds. Ah, So we're just gonna get continue to grow, continue to stack. Um. We got a big one this week obviously, and be ready to go back to guy faxing the stage. We go back to that guy saw that. Why do you

think support to kind of establish that trust. These guys know, I have a lot of trust in them. There's no doubt in my mind by anybody on that field. Um. You know we we we control us and I think it's as simple as that. We control the interceptions, the miss throws, mishaps, miss blocks, fumbles, whatever it is, we control that. UM. So I always get questions about how do we fix it? How do we fix it? It It

doesn't happen overnight, And that's the reality of life. We're gonna continue to grow, want to sit better every day, um, and keep going far from the finished product most Um, it's a perseverance. UM. No, trying to try to never get too high, too low. Um. But but I'll say what helps most in those situations, UM is the teammates and who I have around him. Um, that's the beauty body. I said, it's a team sport. We had each other's back today. UM. You know it's it's never easy versus

coach rule. We had to come back, UM when I played him at Baylor. But um, they're a great, great football team. Well coach out of respect for their coaches and their players. UM, but he just find a find a way to get it done today than think, all right, that was your quarterback. Jalen hurts, he's like this in a press conference. We've seen the same tone and attitude when they lost as we did when they win. Um. But I think that's a testament to who he is

as a leader. It's it's just never enough for him. He always wants more wins win. I think he accepted that, but he knows that it's a long season. There's a long way to go. Yeah, And that's what you want to hear from your leaders, right, You want to hear that type of steady calmness, the confidence when things aren't going well. He's not overly emotional, he's not pointing a finger.

He's accepting all blame himself. And then when the team wins, he obviously is happy with the w but he realizes there's some things out there that they still need to improve upon and get better with. It's what you want from your quarterback, you know, just that steady calm presence always that way, you know what you're going to get versus man you don't know what you're going to get when he steps to the podium. So I like Jalen's temperament and his approach to the game. You're just thinking

back to last week. Everybody was kind of raving after the game about his performance and wanted to ask about it. He was like, look like we lost as Yeah, I feel like that kind of carries over to this week where the performance the numbers weren't as great, but everyone's talking about the comeback. He's like, yeah, like we won, but we still got things that we want to improve. That was a big team win, but we need a lot We need to get better in a lot of areas.

Absolutely well, A big part of that team win was the defense. Today. Fran earlier this afternoon was able to break down the star of today's game, Darius Slay and one of his interceptions in this week's RICO Review. All Right, this week here on the RICO Review, we're gonna take a look at this interception first half by Eagles cornerback Darius Slay. Came in a very simple version of Cover two, where you're gonna see here is the safety Roddy McLeod. He's gonna head out to account for the deep half

of the field. You're gonna get Anthony Harris, He's gonna do the same on his side. What you're gonna see here from Darius Slay is that he's going to be accounting for this flat area. Here's the cloud corner working underneath along the sideline. Now, what the Panthers are gonna do is they're running something that they feel a tax cover two. You're gonna get a vertical route from the outside receiver and a quick out from the number two receiver.

What they're hoping is that Darius Slay sees that route coming here from the slot receiver and he steps up to attack it, and that opens up a void here for this outside receiver to run into. What Darius Slay does is he does not take the cheese. He sees that number two receiver working into the flat but he continues to sink, continues to sink, and he gets under this vertical route from the outside receiver. Does an outstanding

job of takeaway the space. Let's let this roll and you can see the interception all leaping grab here as he climbs the ladder comes down with the interception. Just an outstanding pick here from the second year Eagles corner. Biggest play of the game here for this Eagles defense early on deep in Carolina territory. Gets the Eagles their first points of this game, and it all starts with outstanding technique and a great finish from Darius Slay. Now is your chance to vote for the Toyota Player of

the Week. Go to Philadelphia Eagles dot com slash Toyota Player of the Week to cast your vote and get a chance at a brand new well Yoda. All right, let's see what we got our three nominees. We're gonna start off with t J. Edwards. There it is blocking the punt. He said that was his first blocked punt he's ever had in a football game in the NFL. Love it all right. Moving on our guy guys, Javon Hargrave.

There he is causing all kinds of trouble up front, a lot of pressure, three total tackles, a sack, two quarterback hits, and a tackle for loss. We love it. And here he is. Big week for Darius Slay. He got a new baby and two interceptions, three total tackles, those two i nts and a tackle for loss. You love to see it. Big things from the defense today. Those are your three nominees for Toyota Player of the Week. What do we think gotta go with? Big Place Slay. Listen,

Mama Slay gave baby, gave birth to baby Demetrius. Earlier in the week, New Proud Papa got two interceptions. Man gotta go with big play Slay. He gets it only because of the celebration after the second one, right baby afterwards. That's enough for I love it. I love it well. Hopefully we'll keep this defensive effort moving forward. Like we said, we've harped on it throughout the show. It's a short week. We know who's coming to town, Tom Brady and the

reigning Super Bowl champions Thursday night. We're gonna look at our Jamison nightcap here preparing for what is to be a huge matchup at Lincoln Financial Field. The Bucks are four and one so far this year, is sitting first in the NFC South. Today they defeated the Dolphins forty five to seventeen guys forty five points they put up down in Miami. Last meeting against the Eagles came in twenty eighteen, so it's been some time. They got a new quarterback. I don't know if you ever heard of him,

but it's gonna be a challenge for these Eagles. Oh no doubt about it and listen, Tampa, that game started off a little slow for them to day against Miami, and then all of a sudden they just exploded. And that's just that, just lets you know what that offense is capable of playmakers in every position. We know Tom Brady best to ever do it, but he's beatable. And we also know a little something about Tom Brady. So oh,

that's right. The other thing to you to keep in mind, according to Twitter anyway, I'm just calling off seeing, but right here at the desk, tom Brady's hand in a rap at the press conference after this game against Miami. So something to monitor here over the next couple of days. Whoever tom Brady's suiting up with, there's a little extra juice when it comes to Philly. We know the history, Philly fans love the history. So it's gonna be an

exciting week here at the Novecare Complex. Yeah, Thursday night, defending champs coming to town. As far as I'm going, sorry, they're right for the picking. I'll always extra when you're playing the defending champs. Yeah sure, all right, you gotta go home, and Drayson, you're Jamison. All right, we'll be back here on Thursday night for some Thursday night football. I'm Gabriella d Givanni for fran Duffy and I Greace. We'll see you next time.
