Welcome to a victory edition of the postgame Show, presented by Rico Chris McPherson alongside former Eagles linebacker Ike Rest. The Eagles get the job done, starting fast and finishing strong to get a twenty eight to thirteen win over Washington to improve to six and six on the season. Ike As, history was actually made tonight as zach Ertz set the single season franchise record for most receptions, surpassing Brian Westbrook's ninety from back in two thousand and seven.

He's now up to ninety three on the year. But the Eagles dominating Washington, especially in the second half, outscoring Washington fourteen and nothing after Mark Sanchez, our good old friend, had to come in for Colt McCoy who suffered a

fractured fibula in the first half of the game. So the defense dominating the Eagles offense able to move the ball up and down the field now as maybe as may points as the score should have maybe as a should have gotten tonight, but nonetheless doing enough to get the job done and keeping the season alive. Ike Yeah, I mean, first of all, you take the win anyway that it comes, you know, one twenty points they all

count as one. So when I look at this game, this was a much needed win that the Eagles had to get first time this year getting consecutive wins on the season, So that's certainly was big also. But to the point that you made, Chris, this really was a dominating game from the Eagles, really gonna be when they look back at this film from an offensive standpoint, they know they should have had forty points easily against this

vulnerable Red red Skins defense. Right This Red Skins defense over the last few weeks had been leaking a little oil. They have been very good through the first half of the season, but over the last couple of weeks they started showing some weak areas, particularly in the passing game. And you saw the Eagles if you look at their total yardage well over four hundred, could have very easily had five hundred plus yardage, could have scored more touchdowns

than they scored tonight. Turnovers stopped on downs at the one yard line, two yard line, so that's two more touchdowns for you right there. But I thought, from from a team overall perspective, really came out and really handled this team the way that they should have, especially from a defensive standpoint. Red Skins didn't really get much but the one run from the ageless wonder Adrian Peterson ninety yards. I still can't believe that old man ran ninety yards

and there was nobody within five yards of him. So that will laugh, Yeah, they'll laugh about now at the time. Very concerning, but no sure for sure, you know. But that's the only play they had offensively tonight for the Washington Redskins. You looked at two quarterbacks at the cope. McCoy went out, Mark Sanchez coming in. Two quarterbacks that

really can't beat you with their arm, you know. And so the Eagles really put them in situations where they were gonna have to throw the ball in order to win the night, and they just couldn't get it done. Just a smothering effort from this defense after that ninety yard touchdown run, and then the offense as they were trying to get some things going, able to move the ball no problem, just sometimes couldn't punch it in in the end zone to really finish off some outstanding jobs.

But in the end, the Eagles sit at five hundred six and six, where they hoped to be when the night began. And we know there's a big game coming up Sunday down in Texas. So the Eagles keep their season alive for another week and should be exciting the last month of the season. Four games left the goal, they're still in the playoff hunt. This is how we

want it. This is what you asked for. Yeah, that was the biggest thing is you know, as much as what's gone wrong for the Eagles this season, they sell everything in front of them, and it was basically to win in the division. Okay. It started last week getting that win over the Giants, coming back from the nineteen to three deficit, overcoming that Jake Elligott in the game winning field goal, and you're hoping to carry that momentum

into the game tonight. Now, Washington won the coin toss deferred the ball to the second half, so the Eagles offense got in the field first, and they moved right down the field twelve plays, seventy five yards. Carson Wentz hitting Golden Tate, who took off in this game. Finally got to see the Golden Tate that I think we all expected when he was acquired for the third round

pick from the Detroit Lions. Great job moving the ball around, but establishing the ground game early, getting Josh Adams involved, game Corey Clement involved there, but really taking it to Washington because, as you said, this Washington defense had been struggling of late matt Ian Knights, who starts for that defensive line, very good interior disruptor. He was out for the game tonight, so they were able to take advantage

of that and move the ball on the ground. And you look there one hundred and thirty rushing yards in the game tonight, in over one hundred and twenty in the game against the Giants last week. So they are finding something here on the ground. And I thought we saw some vintage Carson Wentz where he's using his feet to make plays. You look at the touchdown throw to Golden Tate work, he rolls to his right, buy some time,

hits Golden Tate. Another play to Golden Tate work, he did the ball, he's drifting to his left, scramble drill tells Tate get up the field. He was covered by the linebacker Zach Brown, get up the field goal and I would get the ball too. Beautiful touch passed. I thought we saw that to get him in rhythm early, and as you said the offense was able to move

the ball up and down the field. Twenty eight points, should have had more, but four hundred and thirty six toll yards of offense, you have to like what you see there. And then the defense dominating. Once Colton McCoy came out of the game and Mark Sanchez went in again. Adrian Pearson had the nineteen yard touchdown run common gruge help not able to get off the block that helped lead to the touchdown there. But in the second half, I think the toll yards was somewhere in the thirties

for Washington. Sanchez was just signed off the street two weeks ago after Alex Smith's injury. Colton McCoy this was just his second start at the beginning of the game here, so Washington already underman on offense with some key losses along the offensive line. They had some more injuries there tonight, so the Eagles defense able to do the job that they had to do, especially upfront with Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Michael Bennet, Chris Long dominating and winning those bats up front,

so that Washington could never get anything going. Yeah, and that's what I loved about this game. You know, we just saw that graphic and you looked at the time of possession, the Eagles almost had a two to one over the Washington Redskins when you look at how they were able to keep the ball and keep their Red

Skins defense on the field, basically wearing them down. But I thought after the Eagles came out, they scored on their first drive, I thought the Eagles defense really set the tone and really smothered this Red Skins offense for the most part, and that was the type of effort you were gonna need tonight in order to win this

football game. You thought the Eagles offense might struggle a little bit to put the ball in the end zone, but you kind of felt like the advantage was gonna be to this Eagles defense as long as they got after Coate McCoy and then Mark Sanchez who eventually came in there to replace him. And I thought after the first couple of drives, they really settled down. We gotta realize we're out there with two of our linebackers only

having one arm. I mean, they're basically playing with one hand as both of them Camu and Nigel Bradham both have broken hands and I think at times it makes it difficult for them to be run defenders because it's hard to disengage from the blockers. Those linemen get a hold of them and it's hard to get off of them. We saw that on the Agent and Peterson touchdown, as

Camu couldn't get off the block there. But after that they settled down and I thought they really kept the rad scans and second and long, third and long situations and really we're able to build some momentum. All right, we're gonna hear from head coach Doug Pearson quarterback Carson Wentz in just a little bit. But first we're gonna welcome in Eagles insire Dave Spidero and Amy Campbell, who

are standing by at the link. Dave, something that we really hadn't seen much from this team all season, the team starting fasking and the touchdown on the opening drive and then finishing strong outscoring Washington fourteen and nothing in the second half. How crucial was it to have this type of effort and they must win a game. Yeah, I mean it was a really good, encouraging performance from the offense. I liked the variety and the play calls.

I like the confidence at this show. I like the way the offensive line played against and out ending front seven from the Washington Redskins. Now, look, there were mistakes, two red zone possessions end up with zero points. It could have been a lot more convincing, but it feels like there's a corner turned with his football team, a spark that we hope to see from the Giants win.

Having tonight, Amy, Eagles, I thought really offensively had their way with the Washington Redskins well, and when you talk about turning a corner, we saw a lot of guys who were very productive tonight. The most productive night for Golden Tate in his Eagles career touchdown there as well as that two point conversion for him, Josh Adams out gained his record last week by a yard eighty five

yards on twenty carries for him tonight. They continue to show that he's going to be RB one moving forward. So the offense turns a corner there and especially in the run game, really encouraging to see, Like you said, against this Washington front seven, that's very stout and I thought, Amy Day that the defense also put their imprint on this game. You know you're going up against back up

quarterbacks in Colt McCoy and Mark Sanchez. This is really a game where the Eagles as a defensive you and it got a chance to feast on the solfense and it was great to see them take advantage of that tonight. I thought Russell Douglas at the getting off to a little bit of a rocky start, really played well as the game went on, tackle well, made that big play on Chris Thompson late in the game. Talk about how this defense showed up tonight. Also, yeah, what a tackle

that was on Chris Thompson. Kind of you felt the juice on that one just throughout this place or a really exciting thing to see Russell Douglas back on this field and healthy again and making that big play. And you took the words right out of my mouth there when you talk about the defense feasting on the opportunities.

Washington without many of their offensive linemen a couple more hurt in this game, and then of course going to the third string quarterback in Mark Sanchez after Colt McCoy knocked out, you really saw the defense take advantage of those opportunities. I was looking to see them affecting the quarterback up front and limiting the run game, limiting Adrian Peterson.

Adrian Peterson, actually it was pretty limited tonight. He had the one ninety yard touchdown there, the big play, but ninety eight yards was all he had in this entire game. So they really were able to limit him outside of that one day as well. They should when you're playing against third string offensive guards and a third string quarterback

who can't throw the ball outside of the numbers. You know, it took a little bit of time for the Eagles to adjust to Mark Sansons, but once they had, you know, this is the kind of game. You get a lead, your defense can fees. You feel the momentum, you feel the energy. A nice interception from Nate Gary. Just a solid performance, integrating Sidney Jones, Russell Douglas back into the lineup. You hope that Avante Maddox and Jalen Mills can play

next week. So really hopefully a good springboard for Dallas. Now, how about that interception Nate Gary. That was awesome to see his first career interception there, Dave. You mentioned how the Eagles were able to pounce once they had the lead. History was made there tonight at the link was zach ert saying this the single season franchise record for most receptions there. How big was it for him to involvement in the office the way that he has throughout the

course of the season in this must win performance. Yeah, I mean yes, but you kind of expect that from hers. I was really more impressive with it was the way the Eagles moved the ball around. They missed some opportunities as well, but they got out Sean Jeffrey involved, they got Golden Tate involved, they got Agloor involved, They moved it around, and then Zach Kirtz is just a complete tight end who was making tough catches getting to the sticks. Eagles had a lot of third and long tonight, and

Ertz and Wentz did a lot of bailing out. Yeah, Arts has been consistent this whole season. I agree that it is equally as impressive, if not more impressive, that guys like Alshan, Jeffrey, Nelson, Aglare Gold and Tate, even who had had a quiet few games here, were able to kind of get that ballads going on offense once spreading the ball around a little bit more. Well, another interesting thing for me tonight, another three hundred yard performance from Carson Wentz, but I thought he left a lot

out there as well. Yeah, there were some plays out there. They missed, some receivers and screen here there Nelson Agilore down the field, urged down the field, but a bad zone interception. But these are things that Carson Wentz will work on. I just see somebody who's not as consistent in his footwork as he needs to be, back pedaling at times, not setting. These are things to correct correct during the work week getting ready for a very stout

Dallas Cowboys. Yeah, and let's not forget he's coming off an ACL injury. And we heard Jordan Matthew said earlier this week he's seen quarterbacks come off of a cl injuries and they usually struggle that first year. He said. Carson's almost too good that we don't give him credit for that. So let's not forget he is still recovering. As much as he says he is fine, this is his first year back after a serious injury, so definitely

have to give him a little credit there. Well, speaking of recovering from injury, it was great to see Mighty Mouse back in the lineup tonight. He got a touchdown. How about Darren sproles in the impact he had on the offense, and honestly surprising to me that he was used in the run game as much as it was and at the timing was there, The power was there, the nose for the end zone was there. Had a nice little pund return on sideline, showed the quick feet.

But it was very encouraging to see Darren Sprowls out there and hopefully no setbacks during the work week. Let's get him ready for the Dallas Cowboys. Eagles need all the weapons in the special teams and on offensive they can get Dallas hope that. Yeah, of course we always want to see these guys Helsey, but you could just feel how how right it felt in here to see

him doing so well and to get that touchdown. Just you could feel the collective smile of all of her give a big ovation when we lined up for that first punt return. So clearly everybody aware of how much of a fan favorite Darren Sprowls is and how much as we see again tonight as we did in Game

one against Atlanta, what a difference Darren Sprowls makes. Excellent great stuff from as always from Dave and Amy, can't wait to listen to the Eagles Live podcast and read the on the it's like com later on, I guess the early morning hours coming up here. So but Darren Spoils, as you know Dave mentioned with some of the injuries guys coming back, Jail Mills at Vante Max. You need as many horses as you can get as you're gonna go against this Dallas Cowboys team that's gonna be feeling

itself coming off the upset went over New Orleans. Plus Eagles have a short week while Dallas has the extended layoffs, so it's actually two straight games share for the Eagles going against a team with the extended layoff. Yeah. I mean, listen, this is a physical game, and you know, going up against the Dallas Cowboys with what's on the line, it's gonna be a tough game. They've been resting, they played

last Thursday where they knocked off the Saints. They've also had extra days to have people pat them on the back and tell them how good they are. And so we know the Eagles are coming in as a hungry football team trying to avenge a loss at home here to these very same Dallas Cowboys. A few weeks ago. There's no two ways around it. You knew this would

be a tough game coming up this week. I'm just happy there's a lot on the line and the Eagles have something to play, something to play for, because they'll go into this game motivating and ready to go, and if the Cowboys aren't ready to go, the Eagles will leave out of Texas with a w, a much need to win, and a top for first place. Yeah, it's the biggest thing is when's the last time you felt the Eagles you know, as underdogs in a division game like this. I'm not just talking about any game. I'm

talking about like a division showdown. They're going on the road and the Cowboys, imagic, can be heavy favorite in this game. The Eagles are the defending super Bowl champions. Still, there's still the defending MC East champions. Okay, they want to make sure to protect that title, especially if they have a chance to go in knowing how everyone's gonna be hyping up the Cowboys over the next week. And

let's take a look at the standings here. The Eagles you know, tie with Washington now in second place in the division. The path to the playoffs just goes through the MC East. The Eagles win Sunday night or Sunday afternoon in Dallas, they're gonna be tied for first place. Okay, with three games to go and another crack at a division opponent in Washington in week seventeen. So the fact that the Eagles have done so well in the division,

that's the biggest thing there. If the Eagles beat the Cowboys on Sunday and then finished tied with Dallas, let's say at the end of the line here, you're gonna be looking at a division record, the division standings there, and that's gonna be the first typebreaker the Eagles as long as they beat Washington week seventeen, come out in

first place. Yeah. I mean, they still have some work to do in front of them, of course, and they've taken care of the first part of a lot of this work they had to do by winning these first two games at home against the Giants and then the red Skins, and now probably the toughest test of the stretch is this Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Again we talk about the short week, then going on the road against the divisional opponent that's been resting. They've been resting.

It will be ten days, eleven days since the last time the Cowboys have played when Sunday at four twenty five hits here. But you know what, this is the situation we find ourselves in. When you don't necessarily do the things that are required of you early in the season, you put yourself in this position where you sort of gotta you gotta basically run the table almost that very little room for era coming down the stretch here, because just beating the Cowboys Sunday doesn't mean your work is done.

You have to continue to win, because the Cowboys could continue to win if they were to lose to you Sunday. So a lot of work to be done. But I like the fact that the Eagles are starting to play some of their better football, some of their best football of the season. And the good thing about that is there's still room that they can grow and get better as a team. You saw Golden taking his so offense.

You think he's not going to be even better the more weeks that he gets acclimated with his new teammates. So you know, it's not how you start a season, sometimes it's how you finish. And the Eagles may wind up playing their best football down the stretch, which could boat well for them if they can qualify for the postseason. As we continue to recap the eagles twenty eighth to thirteen win over Washington, what are your three big takeaways

from the win tonight? Well, the biggest thing I gotta start with is how the Eagles offense started right the Eagles they you know, Washington wanted to tell us. I was kind of hoping that the Redskins would win the talks because I know if the Eagles on it, we would defer. We get the ball first, put that offense on the field. Great drive to open up the game. I believe it was seven minutes over seven minutes, ends with a touchdown, So you get your crowd behind you,

you get up seven to nothing. We haven't done that very often this year. I thought that was key for this team starting this game. Also getting off to a fast start was certainly a big kid. And then Golden take the new acquisition to the team. Been struggling to try to find ways to get him involved in the offense. Tonight obviously his best game as an Eagle. Scored his first touchdown as an Eagle, also got a two point conversion like that celebration. You're old enough to remember the worm.

Remember we are going out of the same age somewhere around there, So that that celebration he brought out, He's starting to fit in and get comfortable. I expect bigger and better things as the season continues to go along. And then the defense. We talked about the defense and their performance to night, going up against the likes of Cote McCoy and Mark Sanchez. Off this defense a little under man had their work cut out for him. Gave up one big play to Adrian Peterson, obviously a ninety

yard touchdown run. You don't want to have that on your resume to night. But I thought other than that, the Redskins couldn't do anything offensively throwing the ball, running the ball, throwing the ball short, trying to get guys to run after the catch. None of it was working. I thought the Eagles did a better job of tackling the night. You know, I thought we tackled poorly against the New York Giants. They came back to night in the scene like we got more guys to the ball.

You see more guys wrapping up the ball carrier. The run game again other than the one running play I thought was stout all night. So it's good to see the defense taking advantage of plan at home and using that crowd noise to their advantage. And it really gave the Redskins offense a lot of problems to night. You didn't want to keep them in the game. That's the biggest thing, because even when they came up with Colt McCoy, okay, they probably work gonna pu up a ton of points.

To begin with, he had three interceptions to his first

start of the season Backham Thanksgiving against dus. He had the full week of prep to be able to get ready for the Eagles, but still, he's someone who's known to give up the football to put some balls in the air that the defensive backs will have a chance to get after he comes out of the game, and you knew you were waiting for Mark Sanchez to have that classic one throw, and Nate Garrett was a person who was able to capitalize and take advantage of the opportunity,

leading to three Eagles points to help seal the deal for them. But the biggest thing is once Sanchez came in the game, you knew he didn't have much chemistry with that team. Washington was just getting a couple of playmakers back in Chris Thompson and Jamison Crowder, so certainly the timing wasn't going to be there with them. The chemistry is not right. They're pretty much the playbook. Whatever

he's there for. Cole McCoy has been shrunk, so virtually nothing. Okay, they're just trying to protect the ball at that point, not turn the ball over. You know, keep things very manageable. You know, throws to the sticks and you know in between the numbers over the middle where you have Jordan Read and Vernon Davis out there, that's pretty much it. So once you're able to take that away from Washington, there wasn't much for them. They couldn't get into a

shootout with the Eagles. That's why you just needed the Eagles to get that one touchdown to get them over the hump there. Okay, they had the league going into halftime. Just give yourself that little bit of cushion to finally break free and to force Washington into a game that they were not going to be able to play. They were gonna have a hard time playing that type of game coming into the game tonight even with the call McCoy,

but with Mark Stantons, you knew what happened. So what we're gonna do now is we're gonna get ready to send it over to Lincoln Financial Field. As head coach Doug Pearson, the victorious head coach, is standing by to address the media following the win the twenty eight to thirteen decision over Washington. Now he's making his way over to the podium, taking a sweet time allowing the rapporters to get into their seats. But let's just send it

over now, As coach Pearson discusses they'll win. It looks like he came out with a clear purpose to try and be balanced, trying, you know, trying to team that thrust the entire game with that. Does that one of the plays doing it? Yes? And what media effected new work? Well, I think we, uh offensively executed extremely well, especially on that first drive. UM. Thinking back, I mean, you know, UM had a nice nice mix of running pass and

and and did kind of getting everybody settled in. But I thought that, uh, you know, the guys have really focused in UM, you know this week, and and UH did a nice job and it was it was really good to see this tonight for the defense was run stopping has a problems the last few weeks. Adrian Peterson's a load except for the one run. Yeah, pretty pretty dark good job. Yeah, you know, I mean we knew going in that uh possibly have to you know, stop

the run again. Um, and I thought they thought they, you know, for the most most part throughout the game, did a nice job of that. I really felt like our corners quite frankly, we're able to come up and make some make some uh tackles for losses or at least some minimal gains on the perimeter when when you know, a big back like that that bounces outside. So yeah, they did a nice job. Two version, when you went

up seven, you went for two. You got it. I understand that the mathis, you know, you got two scores there, but what if the deeper math there, deeper math. Yeah, like gosh, now you're throwing me for a loop. Deeper math. Was just trust the math and trust uh to go up two scores. I mean that was the right thing to do. And yeah, it was just it was the right thing to do. Yeah, I think there's anything deeper net first time this year that you guys went back

to back games. Are you seeing things start to turn around? Like you said last week? You know, I think that I think this group, um, first of all Brazilian group, you know, and as you know, and I've said that a lot, and um, this group doesn't doesn't let a lot bother them. And and I think what you've seen now at these last couple of week, we started to get some guys back healthy a little bit. You know, we're not we're not there yet, but but we're getting close.

And um, I think I think things are kind of kind of clicking a little bit, you know, especially uh, you know, the off it's just kind of you know, work through some things and some rhythm and timing and getting more guys involved and and um, you know, I think that's starting to take take shape just a little bit.

And defense is gaining confidence. The young guys are maturing and playing well, and and you know, um, you know we need that, we need that right now, We need that sort of shot in the arm and had that picked me up. And I believe this is the first two game winning streak, you know, this season, and uh, you know, it's it's a great time to you know, start winning he's Cory back to where he was last year with the way uh clemic Corey's Corey's I think Corey's back. I mean, I think he's the last couple

of weeks he's shown that. Um, he's run extremely hard. He's he's you know, he's obviously one of our core teams players. But yeah, he's uh, he's feeling good, you know, and and uh doing some doing some really good things running, running hard words on the field. All I got was he got rolled up. We'll find out more later to night and tomorrow scores touchdown. He went to the bench you don't normally do that and congratulated And personally, why was that an important moment for you and for Darren

and for the team? I wanted to Um, I wanted to go over and just just sort of say welcome back and and congratulate him, and uh, he just he just looked up and and just kind of whispered thank you, you know to me, and um, he's such a class

act and a great leader on this football team. And um, obviously it's unfortunate his situation, the injuries that that have set him back, but for him to come out tonight and and uh, do the things he was able to do, and then the guys, I do believe the guys really wanted to get him a touchdown at some point, you know, And and uh, it's just it meant a lot to him, but it meant a lot to the guys as well. And and so I just wanted to I wanted him to know from from my standpoint how much I preh him.

Does he presonify the resilience of the team. That's the way he works, the way he works. He he doesn't let anything. He's he's one of the guy one of the few guys that doesn't let anything bother quite frankly, he through through this injury. He has just battled and he is he has worked his tail off every single day to get back on the football field. And and so proud of him and what he's been through in the adversity to to come out and you know, get

himself in the end zone, get that touchdown tonight. I think is it's what he needs, you know, I think as an individual, that's what he needs to kind of Well, now we'll catapult him this next week and in the remainder of our season, however many games that is, and Um, he just he just epitomizes the heart and soul of our football team. And and it was really really good for that to see, you know, for us to see

that tonight. Well you mentioned earlier, was uh that the reason at least a little bit of tempo earlier to try to get Carson in the river. That and that and we just you know a lot of times when when you know, we get a substantial game, a chunk type play, I like to like to kind of get on the ball because you know the play clock is running down, you know a little bit, and just helps us get on the ball. And then it just helps

our offense settle in, our quarterback settled in. And um, we did it a couple of times tonight, just kind of change a pace just a little bit, and um, it was effective centers just part of the part of the game plan. Just part of the game plan, Yeah, a little bit. And just just the way that the game, the game plan went this week. Yeah, he see Carson improvised a lot more today. How much more dangerous does it make the offense when he scramming around extending plays

and creating like that. Well, anytime he can he can extend plays with his legs. Um, he's such a good athlete and he throws well on the perimeter. Um, I think it's just an advantage to the offense. And um, he was able to do that tonight and made made a I think in the first first half, I think made a nice throw to Nelson Aguilar come across the field. And then in the second half, I believe Golden Tate a couple of times, and just being able to do that just you know, helps us stay on the field.

And um, he's gifted at doing that, and U, I mean it's just something that just just happens naturally for him, you know. And it's a it's an exciting play worked with Golden Teate so well tonight and just kind of what have you learned about him the last month when things haven't you know, necessarily been going according to plan. You know, I don't know if it's as much Golden Tee, it's just I think I think the offense allowing the offense to work and just a lot of those throws.

Golden Tape wasn't necessarily the primary guy, you know. It's just you kind of get through your reads or or you know, a broken play and and and Carson found him. So he's beginning going back to Golden Mean, he's he's you know, he's kind of found a rhythm. He's kind of understanding the offense a little bit more. And UM, I think I think tonight it was Um it was really good to see because the ball got spread around a little bit in the passing game and uh, uh

he hit a hit a nice night tonight. Approach change when the quarterback when the team has to switch quarterbacks mid stream, No, Uman, you still have to stick with your game plan and stick to to you know, because obviously you know, you plugged the the backup quarterback in and but you still have to you know, stop the

run and do those things. But um, it doesn't it doesn't change, Um, doesn't change anything about your game plan, you know, moving before, At what point did the backs that I'm sorry, at what point did the back spasm start? And what's the level of of concern about him right now? Yeah, obviously we'll you know, we'll evaluate him, evaluate him further tomorrow. But uh, they started um, you know pre game and and then just precautionary, just just decided to keep him

out early. Speaking of golden tape, Um, he was over in the flat and Carson kind of had a scrambled drill and take turned it up field I think, and then in the you know card of the end zone that was Carson Wentz on the run. Um, how much of that? It's just a quarterback in a wide receiver kind of being on the same page and knowing how

to play. Yeah, you know, we we spend a lot of time in training campus stuff with with scramble rules, you know, and in assignment football when we're down in the in the red zone and um, I want to say that the play was actually designed for al Sean and um it wasn't there and then he had to move and then and then Golden Taping, a veteran guy knew how to get himself open and uh, you know, get in a position to to make that make that play. The offensive line ums played much better the last two games,

and he did earlier in the seasons. You agree with that, And but and if so, why it all started to kind of come together for them? Yeah, I mean, you know, we had a little injury up front, Um, you know, with Jason Peters with uh, you know, with with Lane and and and you know, different things and and I think I think the guys are this time of year. I mean, I think everybody's just kind of settling in the end. And uh, you know, Jellen just a little bit.

And that group is the last couple of weeks have played, I've played well, and um, you know, I I told him before the game that we were gonna, you know, we were gonna have to ride their back again, you know, in this football game. And you know they embrace that, they want that, and I just think that this is a this is a good time for them to really

start start coming together, all right. Her coach Doug Pearson addressing the media following the eagles twenty eighth to thirteen win over Washington, a game in which the Eagles held the ball almost twice as long as Washington. Very interesting note with Darren Sprowles coming back and scoring a touchdown in his first game since the season opener against Atlanta. After it gets in the end zone, Doug goes over to congratulate him. Darren's been through a lot the last

two years. Certainly he wanted twenty seventeen to be his last run. Suffers the actual for him and torn acl and the home open against the Giants has to be on the sidelines as the eel's going to win the Super Bowl. Urged by his daughter to come back in two eighteen figures, I'm gonna give it one last go, gets injured after the first game and bounce through injuries and is not able to get back on the field

until tonight. So everyone loves Darren Sprowles, Okay, the ultimate overachiever in his career, what he's been able to do. It was just great to see Doug go over to acknowledge him, understanding that he has been such a leader off the field and he finally gets a show that on the field tonight. Sure, and obviously you want a storybook ending for Sprowsy coming back, and we still got

a lot of football left to be played. So and the good thing is, you know, knock on wood, he's going to be able to help this team down the stretch, and hopefully he's going to be able to end his career walking off the field upright and healthy where he can say goodbye to the game that he's given so much too. Certainly as a borderline Hall of Famer, if they ever put the proper respect on kickoff and pump

return men, as they should in this league. Darren sproles as along with another former teammate of Mind and Brian Mitchell, I think should be in the Hall of Fame. But I think he's had a great career and it's just great to see him back on the field. You certainly didn't want to see him in his career being injured and doing all the work that he did last offseason to get back and get healthy for this year and to get hurt early and didn't have a setback and

miss as many games as he has. I know this season has not gone the way he thought it would, but I'm happy to see these back out on the field. It's just icing on the cake for him to be out there scoring touchdowns and doing that. The fact that he could put that uniform on again and step on the field, and like I said, hopefully when it's all setting done, he's going to be able to walk off the field healthy and walk away from the game being able to hold his head high and proud of what

he's accomplished in this league. Because I know you're talking about players that have been doubted throughout their careers. You look at Darren Spros and you know that he's been hearing he's too small since he was about five years old when he first started playing football. I've seen the videos of him playing Pop Warner football for him well. As a matter of fact, he looks the same today as he did in Pop Warner. I'm just saying, at

least height wise. Anyway. You know, I love you, Sprosy, But my point is is that this guy has been doubted his whole life, and he's overcome all those doubts. He's proving people wrong throughout his career. Most people thought he shouldn't have come back this year. He's proven wrong, and happy to see him back out there on the field. It would be interesting because after all the adversity he's been through in this season alone, he could still have

the storybook end. Yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, he probably figured he would come back in Eagles, would be riding high, come off the Super Bowl. He would hopefully be able to try to get back to back. It could still be just not the way that he imagine it or the way that he probably thought about it as he was doing that offseason rehab coming back from the ACL injury. So someone that he trains within the off season in San Diego in Titan zach Ertz sent history tonight with

his ninety third reception of the twenty eighteen season. No Eagle has ever accomplished more than ninety. Brian Westbrook, his mark that has lasted eleven seasons, is now surpassed. He had ninety back in two thousand and seven, that amazing All Pro first team campaign. Well again, you look at the list now, zach Ertz is atop the leaderboard there with another nine catches this evening. He's had great performances

against Washington in the past. Back it was twenty fourteen, I believe he set to a single game franchise record with fifteen receptions. Has a thirteen reception game against Washington. You know, he has been the go to guy for this offense since week one, and even though everyone might know that the ball is going to come to zach Ertz, teams have not been able to up them. Another nine

catches this evening. When the Washington knew that Urch was on the precipice of getting the record, yeah, I mean, he continued to makes a strong case with me considered the best tight end in football on his way to that potential All Pro nomination. All right, the man who threw him that record, saying he passed Carson Wentz's at the podium. Now got you moving, maybe doing a little more improvisation that maybe we've seen in previous weeks. What

was the question exactly? With more play action and it allows you to maybe move a little more and maybe do a little more improbably, I mean, just play action and kind of boots and nakeds and stuff or something that we've always, you know, thought was kind of one of our bread and butters, especially at first second down and I'm getting the run game going really opens up those things and so gets me on the edge of chance to make some plays, guys, a chance to make

some plays down the field and underneath and everything. So yeah, I thought we used that effectively tonight, Offen said, one of the better games of the season. It was good last week against the Giants as well. Do you feel like things are starting to come together for you guys?

I do. I do. I think we're really kind of playing well together, meshing together, um, kind of doing what we do best, you know, running the ball, kind of relying on those big guys upfront from play actions, nakeds, boots, Um, trying to stay on the field on third downs. You know, we got to clean up some things in the red

zone for sure. Um, but but things are you know, we left some plays out there were, no doubt, but um, we're kind of starting to kind of mesh a little bit offensively, Like the chemistry is getting a lot better with Golden tape getting a field for him. Yeah, I mean every I mean every week, every practice, Um, kind of every opportunity with Golden is just an opportunity to

just build that relationship, build that chemistry. And tonight you made some great plays, made some great plays after the catch two, which is which is big and it was good to can finally get him in the end zone too. Did the role you had busy for him when when you got him and it kind of took a little while to get there. Yeah, I think, you know, first

and foremost, Um, Golden is a great player. I feel we got a lot of guys offensively that we can spread the ball around too, So we never truly try and focus in on one guy just trying to go after you know what, maybe the week link in their defense or just kind of how to let the play come to you and tonight he was in the right spot and made some great plays and we'll keep building from there. For sure. This is like the second week in a role you guys were balanced, like running the

ball as well as passing. Um, you know, especially with Josh Adams, Like how important is that for you guys, you know, as far as winning. Yeah, I mean running the football, Um, it is really our bread and butter, you know. I think it gets those the big boys up front going um, kind of gets the defensive line kind of out of pass rush mode. I think. Uh so that's something that's big for us. And just staying balanced and using that. I think it's really our m

O for sure. On the interception in the red tie, yeah, I just forced it. I forced it underneath coverage, kind of kind of got there and just threw it behind him and Nor made a great play. And definitely one kind of kicking myself. Want to get back about being in a situation right now where you win and now you find more life with teach win just with about where you were already as a team having one and

finding that new life again. Yeah, I mean it's big for us, especially where we were now winning too straight and trying to kind of get some momentum going. Doing it against an nfcust opponent is huge, and now kind of setting ourselves up to make a run, you know, to try and do something special here. And I think we're we're again leaving some plays out there, but we're still fine. We're finally starting to click a little bit um and mesh together, and you know, we're extremely excited

for next week's opportunity. For sure, going in recent weeks. You have you didn't get sacked today? What's been the difference for the offensive line and how does that make you feel when you know you're not gonna get touched the whole Hell? Yeah, again, hats off to the line. You know they played great football game both running the

ball and protecting me and keeping me up right. Um, you know, it's hard to say exactly what the difference is, but again I think just as an offensive unit, Um, we're just finally starting to kind of mesh it and play together. And again we're leaving plays out there. You know, there's plenty that I'm kicking myself. I want back, but um, I think the offensive line was really he's just starting to mesh him play well. To you, what is it like having Darren Schools back, just knowing the journey that

he's been through the last two years. Yeah, I mean having Darren back is awesome. You know, he's a little spark for us offensively. I was extremely stoked to see him again in the end zone. You know, it seems like he's been a while since he's been out. There been a while since him and I got to play together. Um So having him back in the huddle, having him

makes him plays that he did. Uh, that definitely gives our offense a little motivation, a little, a little spark, and it was It was great to see that Carson Zach Hurts, the way he runs his RUSS, the way he's seemingly very predictable. He met understands where to be and the kind of when to be there. How much easier doesn't make your job? Yeah, I mean it makes my job way easier. You know, having a guy like

Zach Hurtz again. You know, it seems like we're talking about him all the time, but uh, he just completely understands the game from almost a quarterback's view. It knows where he needs to be nose coverages, No, almost knows when I'm gonna be hot and when to look early, and all sorts of things. So I'm just having another guy with that kind of intelligence, next level intelligence. UM. And then also the way he just runs his routes

and gets open. Um, he does a great job. And then that's why we keep finding him professional and personally. Professionally and personally. For him to break the Eagles all time single season record for most catches, that's awesome. I didn't really realize that. Um. At the end of the day, I know he's gonna say the same thing. He's just happy we won. But that's that's good for him. And obviously we still got a handful of games. Like it seems like you talked about started fast for ten weeks. Now,

what was the benefit of that first drive? That was huge? I think, you know, it almost kind of got the monkey off your back a little bit, kind of UM. Like you said, we've talked about it a bunch and we just haven't executed. And this week we did made some plays on third down, we got in the end zone there, you know, Golden made a great play getting open on the scramble to finally you know, seal the drive off. So again, it kind of just felt like we got that monkey off our back and started the

way we wanted to start, just starting to mesh. How big will that be coming up against an improving Dallas copp come next week. Yeah, I mean we know Dallas is a great team. They're a great team, a great defense. They make things tough for you. So again, like you said, just the way we're finally starting to mesh a little bit offensively. Um, it's gonna be big for us going down there, and we got our work cut out for

us for sure. Bert's success. There was a report from ESPN yesterday that a team source said that there've been too many targets to him. Um, what do you make of that? And do you feel as there's any validity. I don't really, you know, think too much into that, honestly. I mean the guy makes plays. You know, he makes plays, he gets open. I think our effectiveness rate when I when we do throw his way is it's pretty successful. So I'm not If it wasn't, yeah, it would be

something we need to evaluate. But you know, he gets open, plays great football and he's having a heck of a year. Carson tonight, I think gives you the second most three under yard games in franchise history. What does that mean to you? And are you a bit surprised that you've been able to put up those kind of numbers this early in your career. Yeah, honestly, I don't. I don't really know much about the numbers. I know we left

some yards out there. I know I missed a couple, So I really don't don't think too much about three hundred yard games or this or that. Um, all I know is at the end of the day, we got we got to win, and we're finally getting some momentum going. Like the players wanted Sprowls to get in the end zone tonight with that's something you had to discussed with him at all throughout the week or even today. That

was nothing we really discussed. Um, but you know, we all knew finally getting him back out there, Um what he kind of brings the offense, Like I said, just a little spark and uh he's kind of a quiet leader and everyone just respects how he works, and uh man, it was just really good to get him back out there and to get him in the end zone. We were all pretty excited about that. You had a few getting catches towards the end of the game. How how reliable is he becomes the last couple of days. Yeah,

ill sounds great. You know another guy that that understands the offense, understands defenses um and plays with you know, just a sense of urgency and getting open and uh, just again he understands the game and just having his big kind of physical abilities that he has a big target with great hands. It's just a guy that went in doubt. You know, I can his way too, and you know even when he covered, he's not, so you know,

hats off to him. And again, we have a lot of guys we can spread spread the ball out too, So I'm pretty fortunate. Thanks guys. All right. Quarterback Carson went addressing the media following the win over Washington, and very interesting that I didn't realize that this was the first time Winston Sproles played together since that Week three game twenty seventeen, because obviously Winston playing the season opener

against Atlanta. Yeah, I didn't even realize that. So, yeah, having those guys back on the field for the first time, I'm sure made Carson excited about having Darren Sproles back out there. And uh, let listen, let's hope we can continue to get guys back. You know, um, there are no excuses in this league. Everyone deals with injuries. We saw what the Eagles were able to do when they had to deal with injuries last year, but they've been

hit with another rash of injuries. I don't think we've had the same experience from a depth standpoint this y year and has hurt us a little bit. But they're starting to get guys back. Got a couple guys back tonight. Don't know the situation on a few other guys like Jalen Mills and Jordan Hicks and whether or not they'll be ready to go this week. But as you come down to stretch here, obviously, the more of these guys you can get back into the vote, it just makes

you a stronger team. What were your thoughts. Carson wants to address the ESPN report that Art has been fed the ball too much and that's one of the reason why the Eels have struggled this season. I mean, Art has been absolutely outstanding and very productive with the ball going his way. You certainly can't say, and I thought Carson had addressed the ball the right way, where if it was an issue, we would have to talk about it. If the offense was stalling or struggling because of it,

then we maybe need to talk about it. That's not the case always. Zach Ertz, with another nine nine catches on ten targets eighty plus yards, again set the franchise record for most catches in a season. So, you know, just another efficient performance. Yeah. You know what, I can go through a list of teams with their best weapons, whether to wide out or whether to tight end, they typically will get the most targets on those respective teams.

That's what you do. You throw the ball or you try to get the ball in the hands of some of your best players. And I mean, I've been watching zach Ertz since he got here out of Stanford back in twenty thirteen, and the guy has been nothing but productive. He's gotten better just about each year. And for some notion or some report to be out there that maybe somebody is thinking that part of the offensive struggles is that you're looking to throw the ball to zach Ertz

too often, that just makes no sense to me. Quite frankly. He's the one guy that's been in there every week from week one, and he's been the most consistent. Of all of your offensive players, whomever you've had on that side of the football from a skill position stand point, the one guy has been consistent week in and week out has been number eighty six. He's reliable, he's durable,

He's typically surehanded when you throw him to football. Now, if this was if this was a case where you know you're forcing the ball to him and is leading the turnovers because he's covered and his stalling drives, that's one thing I'm watching the night And every pass he threw to zach Ertz, zach Ertz was open, and I mean he caught nine out of the ten that you threw to him. So as long as you're getting that type of production, Carson Wentz needs to continue to ignore

that noise coming from the outside. Certainly here here's the thing. For a long time, fans were wondering, when is it gonna be the breakout year for Earth's right. He showed so much potential early in his career, at over fifty receptions to the second season, everyone said, once he gonna take that next step, Well, obviously everyone's gonna be fixated on the numbers this year and last year he had an outstanding season, earning Pro Bowl honor, says the Eels

went on to win the Super Bowl. When you're looking at his year in the year out stats, he's had seventy five catches at least and at least eight hundred receiving yards now in four straight seasons. To me, this has been his best year. To me, doing what he did last year may have come a little easier because he had other weapons around him that the defense has

to pay attention to. He's the guy. Yeah, Nelson had eight touchdowns, Al Shan had eight touchdowns, Tory Smith had a few, so the ball was being spread around for the most part. This year, he's been the guy every defense knows going into the game. He's the guy that's going to get the ball. They're gearing their defense trying to stop him, to slow down this offense, and he's still being productive. So to me, he's been your best offensive weapon this year. He's been the most consistent offensive

weapon this year. And to me, he's having his best year because defenses have been able to focus in on him and he still has found a way to be productive. So, Zach, continue to do what you're doing. He's going to break the record and I hope he breaks the record. I don't know if he can get to uh Marvin Harrison's record. Yeah, well you know, you don't know. Four games left the goal. So but he's certainly going to break Jason Witten's record, and quite frankly, I wish he could do it next week.

It would be perfect. What is he about? Thirteen short? What is he sixteen catches short? He needs seventeen to tie? That's his career. Yeah, you can do it, big time showdown. You know the way the way that Winn was going about on the broadcast, you wish he would have done it right there right loves he does the mutual admiration and that was that was Zach's favorite player. Yes, Staly

was with that situation there. Yeah, we can't all be perfect. No. So one of the players who Zach Ertz passed on the way to send in the single season franchise record for receptions to this season was Jordan Matthews, who put up eighty five catches back in twenty fifteen. Was I believe Matthews capped off the scoring if I'm a touchdown perspective by getting in the end zone to seal the win for the Eagles tonight. He spoke with our Eagles

entire days, but after the win. Here's that interview. Now they are down on the field with wide receiver Jordan Matthews. Big performance from the Eagles offense. What went well tonight? You know we went to this practice week saying we want to be physical, we want to be able to run the ball, do some big things in the run game.

I think you saw that. I'm so happy for Darren Sprous how about four to three man to be able to come back off of a tough injury and to be able to do what he did today for this team. He's gonna be huge for us. Josh Addis has gonna run the ball well. The offensive line has been playing great, and obviously with Eleven back there, there's nothing but good things can happen. Big one on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. First place in the NFC East at stake. Do you

feel like this team has turned the corner. I feel like this team's got to go back to work. We gotta watch this film, we gotta correct it, and then next week is gonna be a big game for us. We just gotta taken one day at time Jordan Matthews a great job. So we've heard three interviews now or heard from coach Peterson, Carson Wentz, Jordan Matthews, and each one of them praise the offensive line with the work

that they did. So oh, speak of the records there, let's sit back to the link number eighty six, Zach Ertz standing by to send the record. Yeah, I mean it's cool. I mean, obviously there have been so many great players in this organization. UM, and to set the record at home obviously very special. But at the same time, the most important thing to me tonight was to win UM five and six against the good football team, against a really good run defense. UM. They got good players

up and down that defense. So something that we needed tonight, UM, and something that allowed us to continue to have the every opportunity UM in terms of the postseason in front of us. That was the most important thing. How would you describe how you're connection with Carson's ball. Yeah, I mean, I think this year's definitely taking that next step. UM. I thought last year we were playing at a high level, but I think this year we've kind of taken that

next step. UM. We see the game so similarly, we talk about football all the time. We're fully invested in being the best players we can be for this team, in this organization, and we just love the game of football. We love talking about it. We love, um the fine art of route running and the timing of the quarterback in the tight end, and I think you can see

it each and every Sunday most of the time. There's been one time this year I think we've seen something different, and other than that, we see the game very similarly. And it's a lot of fun playing with him. I mean, the guy is so competitive, he's so talented. Um, it's really fun. Yeah, I mean, I mean putting up that many yards against that defense, Um, it's very I think it's very revealing about where we're at as an offense. Obviously, we have the ball inside the five twice and don't

at any points. It's tough. By the same time, we didn't panic after those drives and we've got a lot of good players on offense. And this isn't about me at all. Everyone else is doing their job tonight and that was the most important thing coming out here, finding a win. So happy for Darren. He's been through the game at the past eleven weeks of trying to get right from the Sam strength thing, and just proud of all the work he put in to get to this point.

He could have easily called a quits and said, man, maybe this just isn't for me anymore. Um, but he really stuck, stuck to the process and just found a way to get healthy. And we need him. I mean, he's a dynamic player and he's really helpful for a football team clicking after a whole season struggling. Why do you think that, Um, I mean, I think it just takes time. We got new faces. Obviously Carson didn't start the year um, bringing in new guys. UM. But we

work really hard in practice. I mean, we're grinding for three days during the week trying to get this thing right. We understood that the talent level on the offense wasn't matching their production. UM. And guys, we're not panicking by any means. UM. We were just focused on being better from the previous week, and I think it's finally starting to click. Um. Against the defense tonight that I mean that front seven is probably one of the best in

the league. Um. Josh Norman is one of the best corners. Two really good safeties. UM. So it was a really good performance. We held held the ball for a long time. And most importantly, I mean our team is built to play with the league UM and coming out fast, getting seven points early something we haven't really done been successful UM in most of these games. So that's probably the biggest thing that I took from tonight was we finally

started fast record yeahs. Yeah. In terms of route running, I mean, just studying him for so long, UM, finding the intricacies of how he ran routes. It's something that I studied from the moment I came into the league, since I had the opportunity to really study tight ends and study their film. He was the guy I was always watching because it seemed like third down UM, he was always getting his number called, and he was always attacking leverage, and so I just really just modeled my

game after him. I think there's there are some differences, but there's a lot of similarities. UM. And I've said it since I was sixteen. He was a guy that was always on TV, unfortunately back in California, and he was the guy that I was forced to watch, but at the same time, it was the perfect guy for me to watch. Because I was able to see at sixteen years old how a tight end should play. M I a ultimate respect for him. He knows that. Um,

we have a good relationship. I obviously we shouldn't play for the Cowboys, but um, it was fun playing against him too for a couple of years. Jersey. Yeah, yeah, he just uh you know. He told me in the passion though it wasn't because that he was my favorite tight end growing up. He said it was because of he really respected how I played the game, UM, and how how I was always trying to get better. He said he was watching my game from the moment I

came into the league. Um, and he was one of the guy that I was one of the guys he would studying the offseason and having being the only guy that he ever traded Jersey with is honestly special. Obviously, everyone knows how I feel about him, and I'm excited for the game next week in Dallas. That problem targets. Did you hear of that? I did hear of it, obviously. UM. Obviously, UM, there are there are things that come out playing in the NFL for six years, there are things that come

out sources all the time. UM, I don't feel like I hope I'm not the problem. I don't think I'm the problem. I'm just trying to be the best tight end I can be. UM. I said all along, it's all about efficiency, UM, when it comes to targets and catches. I feel like we're efficient in that regard. UM, And I think I mean, I'm just focusing on trying to put wins on tape. That's the only thing I try and do. UM. I don't really focus on whether I get the ball or not. I said it all along,

whether I get two catches or ten catches. The most important thing to me is winning football games. And I thoroughly believe each and every guy in that locker room feels the same way. UM. There's never been a doubt of selfishness from anyone in that locker room. And UM, I don't think I do. I don't want to give it too much merit just is what it is. UM. Focused on the win tonight. I felt like everyone got the ball, felt like it was a it was a good team win, and that's what I'm focused on address

with the team. No, I didn't care at all, UM, I don't think there was anything to address. UM. I mean, it was an anonymous source, so if it was one of my teammates, I felt like they I mean, I'm I don't have a motive by any means. I feel like we have a great relationship with all my teammates and I got I mean, I can't give too much credit to an anonymous source because I don't know who it was. A practicutill Thursday. Yeah, I guess I'll thank you for that. Yeah, I mean, typically we don't start

practicing until two days after a game. Um, it'd be really tough to go out there on Wednesday and play football game after a physical football game like we just had. Um, And at this point in the year, the recoveries sometimes more important than the little little details. I mean, obviously, we played these guys a couple of weeks ago. Um, I played them. There's gonna be my twelfth time playing them, so they know me, I know them. Um, it's gonna

come down to how fresh can we be for that game. Um, that's gonna be the most important thing for a lot of guys. Just trying to get your body right. Obviously it's gonna be week thirteen for us, so that's how your body feels right now, and guys are gonna be in the training room, moving in the training room. Hopefully we'll get some more with these injured guys back. Um But um, I think that's the right schedule in terms of practicing. UM. I'm I want to be on the

field each and every play. But at the same time, Dallas is playing really well. UM. I got a lot of confidence teaching every time he's in the game. I got a lot of confidence in the coaches doing what they do drawn out the game plan. Um. It's not saying that fourth and one, I'm off the field. It's based on the play that they already have called. Um So, each and every week they personnel the plays. Um. I can't play every snap, Obviously, We've gotten that early in

the year and it's just not sustainable. Um So, that was a play where Dallas was in It was a scramble or it was an automatic sprint out to the right and he was backside, and it was a great play call. You said a few weeks ago that you had to believe despite the evidence. Yeah, two wins since then, and I'm playing the first place on Sunday. Just kind of what was the feeling in the locker room after this one. Yeah, I mean, guys are obviously extremely happy.

It's really tough to win football games in this league. Guys, we found out the first eleven games of this year. Um, obviously we didn't start the way we thought we were going to. But I think this one really speaks to the overall resiliency of this football team, the character of the guys in the locker room. Obviously at four and six when we got drilled by the Saints a few weeks back, everyone had the opportunity to kind of put

their head to heads down and sulk. Um, But guys not in that locker room really loved the game of football. I think guys really loved their craft. And I mean we went to work and obviously six and six now not where we wanted or thought we were going to be. But at the same time, we got the whole season in front of us. UM, I think we're close. I

think we're really close. Um. Obviously, we scored two touchdowns inside the five yard line tonight, We're putting up forty against a really good team, and so if we're able to execute in the low red zone. UM, just finding little things to be better at each and every week, but I think we're close to reaching our ultimate potential as an offense. Thanks guys, Thank you guys. There was Zach Now like you mentioned this at the top of

the show, Eagles convert those red zone opportunities. That's twenty eight is a forty, it's thirty eight. I mean it's definitely much higher. It should have been much higher. Still impressive output by the Eagle's offense, but still a lot of points left on the board, so still much room for improvement. Getting ready for a Sunday afternoon showdown against Dallas. Here's something I thought was very interesting with zach ertz season on the line in the last two weeks. Okay,

he's putting up all these amazing numbers, gaudy numbers. Okay on tractice at the all time NFL record for most catches by a tight end in a single season. Last two games Giants in Washington, sixteen catches, one hundred and seventy four yards and a touchdown. Games that you have to win. He's coming through in the clutch. You go back to the Super Bowl, Okay, the fourth down conversion,

the touchdown, the championship winning touchdown. Zach Ertz has been the go to clutch guy in this offense for some time now. That's not just putting up gaudy numbers, that he's got some substance behind it that when the game is on the line, he is a guy you can depend on. Yeah, I mean, listen, he's clearly been the best offensive player around here other than the quarterback position over the last three or four years. You know, since

he's been here. You just look at his numbers, you look at the consistency, You look at how he's gotten better each year, more than likely on his way to a second Pro Bowl, second consecutive Pro Bowl, starting to establish himself really as arguably the best tight end in the game of football. So his resume just continues to just be added upon. His numbers are gonna be there. We've already said this. By the time he's done playing, man, he's gonna own every receiving record known to the in

this franchise's history. So that's just it. He's the It's rare that you draft the player for a certain skill set and you know what he's projected to be. It's rare that that player actually lives up to that, and he certainly has lived up to that in well, I was getting ready to saying he's on his way to surpassing it because you just look at the consistency, consistency

year in and year out. He's still young enough that um playing alongside Carson Wentz, he's gonna put up numbers, astronomical numbers in the league where they encourage you to throw the ball even more, his numbers are just going to get better. Just appreciate what we get a chance to watch week in and week out, year in and year out, because it's not often that you know, these high draft picks turn out to be what you hope

they would be when you selected them. And that's not just for the Eagles, that's for the NFL in general. So considering Zach was the high second round draft pick, like either the second or third pick in that second round back in two thousand and thirteen, Man, you look at Lane Johnson, zach Ertz, and man, if we can just keep Jordan Hicks healthy and on the field, he's

another guy that has a promise in future. But just on Zach Man, Zach has been he's been outstanding and he's one of the good guys that we have on his team. He's great in the community. He's all about the team, never complains about how many catches or targets that he's getting, doesn't worry about some of the criticism criticism that's thrown his way. Just continues to work on his game and tries to improve, but more importantly, tries to be a good teammate year in and year out.

And I think that's the thing that I respect about him the most is that he doesn't care about all these individual numbers. All he cares about is the team having success and is genuine. You know. The thing with him is that he's coming off the Pro Bowl, coming off the Super Bowl Championship. He was finding ways to improve his game. And he said that last season he missed two games, he only played in four team games.

He wants to be on the field. He looks up to Jason Winton, says it was his favorite player growing up. Studied the film in the Whole Nine. Jason Winton missed one game in his entire career, and that was as a rookie. So Urch wanted to find a way to

be on the field. So he went back and studied his strength routine, his weightlifting routine and found he was getting injured about the same time every single year the same way, so we overhauled his weightlifting routine in the off season so that he could be healthy and tight End's coach Justin Peel said this week, Urch is feeling fresher going into games, even though he's playing much more snaps than he's ever had in his career and obviously

getting the ball throwing his way more than before. He's leaned on a ton every week and people think, well, the fun part or we see the results right the catches in the yards and you feel like, well, you're throwing the ball enough. He feels good. No, it is not easy being as successful as Zach is week in and week out, finding ways to get open deep as

his gearing towards stopping you. They bang your around, you get past the defensive in he chips your linebackers sitting there way you know he hits you a little bit, he turns you over to a safety. So you know, zach Ertz, when you're being game planned every week from a defensive standpoint, it makes your job a little more

difficult to have success. And somehow he's finding ways to have success, whether it's in the red zone, whether it's out in the open field, he makes tough catches, catches where he has to go up reach behind himself at times to make to make catches. So we're looking at one of the best in the game right now, and let's just be thankful that we have one of the

best at his position plan for our team. And you wish, if those reports are true, that the guys look within themselves to not say, why can't I get some of the opportunities that he's getting, but say just take advantage of those opportunities when they come. And this is a guy who always has a smile on his face, it always has something encouraging to say. It's never about him, it's always about the team. That's the type of stuff

that should be infectious to everyone else. So again, I don't want to believe the reports that are out there, but they're out there from someone and you would hope whoever is putting that type of stuff out there, take a look at a guy like Zach Erst his workout there, how he comes to work every day, how he plays when he's out there. It's something to be emulated, not

something to be envious of. And want to take away from that, you ought to be hoping that that guy gets more opportunities because he seems to take advantage of the opportunities when they present itself. Every week on the show. You have a moment just like that where you hit it right on the head, perfectly well said on Earth and his impact on this twenty eight team, Eagles team,

and the organization as a whole. So we heard from Heyko Dug Pearson at the podium, but we always know he's the most candid when he does his post game one on one air views with Hall of Fame wide receiver. Quick, we're gonna send it to an interview right now, which took place a short time ago. Already, Coach has been a while. The first possession, you take it down and you score points. Um, how did it happen and how

did it feel for you? It felt great, um, And I think you know, you look, it was a good, good mix of running pass I think we we we you know, I leaned more towards the run, I think in the first that first drive, but you know it was it was it was well executed drive and it's something that uh, we haven't had much success this season and it was good to put one together to start this game. You got Golden Chayed involved early in the

football game. He scored that touchdown. Talk about how you were finally incorporating him and how comfortable he's getting in this offense. Well, he's getting real comfortable in the offense. And and I believe that was a broken play that Carson actually scrambled and found him in the corner of the end zone. It was a great play by Carson as well. And you know, he's just he's a veteran player that really is just Um, he's unselfish. He just wants to help this football team win and whatever his

role is. And um, you know, he's getting more comfortable and and we'll just continue to, uh, you know, increase more and more. But one of the things tonight, I think from carson standpoint, was the fact they utilized a lot of a lot of targets, a lot of a lot of players on offense in a passing game. And that's kind of what you need to have, that kind of balance. He was able to spread the ball around.

What was it defensively from the Ridskins that you wanted to take advantage of in this game, Well, we knew this is a good this is a good defense. Um, you know, especially against the run. They're there their tremendous run defense, and they they they crowd the box and they've got a really good, big, physical front two gap

style of defense. And um, you know, we felt like it if we could control the line of scrimmage, um, we could we could really do some some some good in the In the run game, I thought, you know, Jeff Stallin put together a really good run plan and um and then and then getting him in and it was really eleven personnel to run and it was twelve personnel to throw. It was kind of the kind of

the theme a little bit. But um, guys, just um, you know, they came to work this week, they executed well, they understood the game plan, and it was good to see how big was the screen game into Night's game, because I thought you got some big chunks in the screen game we did second half of the game. I used quite a few screens actually, and um, you know, I think none bigger than the one Corpy had to start I think the fourth quarter to get us down

inside the inside the five. But um, yeah, screens are a great change of pace. Uh, they're a great way to um sort of solidify and it kind of calm down any kind of pressure or rush from the defense. And and uh, you know, I think our screen game the last couple of weeks have really it's really improved and guys have executed well. Darren sprowls back into lineup. Good for both Darren and good for this offense. It

is it's great to see him back out there. You know, he brings a breath of fresh air obviously, and it's great because of the adversity that he's faced this season. And then you know, ultimately to get him in the end zone I think is something that he really really will cherish. I think, you know, looking back on this particular football game, but um, it's great to get him out there, especially you know the part returns. But we'll keep integrade him each and every week. Talk about the

defensive side a little bit. They gave up the one ninety yard run to Adrian Peterson, but aside from that, they didn't give up a lot to that offensive the Ridskins. You know, we kind of knew coming in that they were gonna have to rely on the run, I think, and Adrian is as uh man, He's a he's an agress wonder. I mean, the kid just continues to play

hard and and he's have a really good season. And um, he's another big back that we've had to know, we've had to uh tackle on these last couple of weeks.

But I really thought that um our perimeter guys tonight actually really came up and did some nice things, you know, making some tackles for loss and then some some minimal gains and um, you know it's something if we can maybe force them to pass, you know, and put it up, put it in the quarterback's hands, that we would have a little bit of success to in that and our guys roach that challenger. You got a big one coming up now, going down to Dallas, a big week of preparation. Um,

how big is that? And talk about the week leading up to that. Yeah, you know, it's it's all coming down to, you know, this last month of the season for us, and and you know we've we've I've asked the guys to commit now to to each other obviously here at the end of the year, and you know, um, you know we're right where we want to be. Well, maybe not where we want to be, but but under the under the circumstances, we're right, you know, right where

we need to be. And and we still get to control you know, our own, uh the fate, so to speak. And um, you know we we know Dallas a good football team. They're they're hot right now, they're on a little there, you know, obviously on a roll. And um we're on a short week now, you know, they're on a long week. We're on a short week. So we got to come come to work on Wednesday, ready to go. Thanks Cod's good look, Thanks Quicken, Grace up always there

from Heyco, Doug Pearson and Mike Quick. So, speaking of Mike Quicken, going into that booth with Merrill Reese, we have the best of Merrill camp Cursey of Sports Radio ninety four w IP. I'm sure Merrill Mike had lots of good things to say from tonight's win over Washington. Let's get to those highlights right now. And a second and goal at the six Adams to the left of Wentz. Wentz. Now there's a jump and the Eagles are off sides again, I believe. But Wentz is rolling, Wentz is looking, he

is throwing, and it is caught. Is it a touchdown? Yes to Golden Tate. Now, let's see about the movement. I don't know that anything was called, but it is a touchdown past the Golden Tate in the far corner of the end zone, his first as an eagle. You know, I saw the same movement the other night in the game where the tackle moves early in a lane. Johnson moved early. No one stopped playing. They kept the play alive.

Carson kept it alive. Golden Tate kept working in the back of the end zone, his first such downd as an eagle. First and ten ball at the fourteen. Sprowls in the game to the left of Wentz slot to the far side, Jeffrey the near side. That's time. It goes to Sprowls at the fifteen, cuts back at the ten. At the five, he's in the end can eighty mouse goes. Boy, you couldn't wait for that. Couldn't wait. Listen. This is a great play call and Darren sprous one of the

things that he's been so good at. He follows number sixty two, helps Jason Kelsey to the promised land. When Kelsey gets out on the perimeter, he's got the line back of Mason Foster. And he just rides him down the sideline and Sprows gets in behind him and when the contact comes, Sprous is able to get into the end zone for the touchdown. First and ten up at their own forty five. Sanchez and they got again. He's back, he's looking. He starts to run too late. He's sacked.

Brandon Graham BG. Brandon Graham sacks his formercy mate First and ten at the forty four. That goes Wentz. He's looking. He pumps, he fires and at is complete. He's got ERTs at Earth's makes the catch, picks up seven yards. At is now the Eagles record holder for receptions in a season. He now has ninety one. I like to command that Carson has right here. He gets on the center. Besides that, he wants to get into a different play. Steps back, communicates to everybody, gets a positive play to

his favorite target, Zach Ert. What's back, he's looking. He fires complete touchdown. Jorge Matthews. Very well done. Now he puts this ball right in the midsection of Jordan Matthews and they are working on the fresh meet. Danny Johnson comes into the game. Well, you've got to go after that guy. He's fresh he just came off from the bench. Jordan Matthews lines up outside, he runs a slant on him and Carson puts it there and the ball just sticks right into midsection. That was an archer heading a

bulls eye low. Receiver of the foreside looks fire and it is complete and in goes Golden tape. It was throw low, yeah, take tug it out inches from the turf and then rolled up the big end zone. First and fifteen play action. Sanchez being chased fires and as an intercept that it is that's picked off by Gary. Nathan Gary picks off Mark Sanchez. Well, and what a great job of catching the football by Nathan Gary full of spotted. The kick is away, the kick has the distance,

and the kick is good again. Thank you so much. The Sports Radio ninety four w IP for sharing Merrill cam with us. I was getting mesmeris. I was getting like losted to play reliving the memories all over again. And uh, you know, Merrill's called a few Sanche's interceptions in his time, so that was like old hat right there. proud partner of the Philadelphia Eagles. All right, welcome back to the show. A little bit later, we're gonna provide you with the Toyota Player of the Week nominees. But as we talk about maybe our unsung heroes of the game, and we heard Coach Pearson in a one on one interview with Mike Quick and you've talked about this earlier

in the show. The tackling, especially on the perimeter, you know, led by Russell Douglas, shine light on him after giving up the early reception allowed him to be your unsung hero of the game today. Yeah, it really did, you know. I thought the game got off to a little bit

of a rough start for Russell Douglas out there. Obviously the Eagles secondary a little sh or handed, gave up a player early in the game, where he get him with a little bit of a double move, and you know, for young players, that can sort of crush your confidence.

So to watch him bounce back from that and really become a real force in the run defense game and even in the past defense game, it was good to see Russeul bounce back from that early tough start and really came up with some key tackles, particularly the one where the Redskins had this throwback play set up perfectly with Chris Thompson. Jordan Reed is throwing the ball on the other side of the field of Chris Thompson. They really do have it set up perfectly and Russeul is

the only defender over there. And what I loved about what he did on that play was he decided, you know what, I'm gonna go ahead and take my shot. He's by himself now, he knows if he misses that tackle, Chris Thompson can be running up the sideline. So but he took a shot with confidence made the tackle, and I thought that was just sort of an indicator or sort of a domination of what his night was like. Whereas you know, where it may not have looked good,

he turned around and made it a good play. So I thought Russell Douglas being out there and the way that he was able to battle back and really come through with a solid game in the end, really being a big help in that run defense, I thought he would be a great unsung hero. Can think about a week ago, it was DeVante Bosby, Chandon Sullivan, Craven LeBlanc. You know, tonight you're getting back Russell, he gets Sydney Jones, LeBlanc,

you know, maintained that slot position. Hopefully maybe Jail Mills next week against Dallas. Potentially maybe Avante Max gets back into the mix as well. Certainly would be welcome going against the Dallas offensive weapons with Amari Cooper, they're leading the way, my unsung hero, Jason Kelsey, Okay, it seemed like time after time it can anytime there was a

big play. Number sixty two was leading the way, paving the road, so to speaks, whether it was a run game, pass game, making sure that whoever ahead the ball could get a few extra yards. Obviously, the most athletics center in the entire game showcase that ability once again, and Doug Pearson and Jeff Stoutlin, the offensive line coach run game coordinator did a great job of scheming ways to get him to the second level tonight. Yeah, starts up front,

we know it. The offensive line, defensive line. They're gonna set the tone for your team. And typically when those two lines play well, you're gonna have a good game. So you watch the Eagles the last two weeks. Their offensive line has really played their best football, the best stretch of football in this season, and it couldn't happen at a better time where they need to get the running game going. Carson needs to be protected back there so that he has an opportunity to get the ball

to these skilled position guys. It really was the strength of the team last year, particularly at the went Scott injured. Nick Foles was able to be behind this offensive line and had success that he had and the running game was a part of it. It starts up front. When they played well, the off has gonna function. Will all right, We're gonna see plenty of Kelsey as We're gonna send it to the Rico whiteboard for the Rico Review, where Fran Duffy and NFL Film seior producer Greg Cosell breakdown

Darren sprowles Is fourteen yard touchdown from tonight's victory. All right, so we've already seen Golden taps first touchdown as an Eagle. How about Darren Sproles first touchdown of the season. A little draw play from the Eagles here late in the first half to get on the board. Greg tells what you see here a little sprint draw and it's been

a long time for Darren Sprowles. We call sprint draw because you see, normally your draw play has the back behind the quarterback, but here he's offset, So there's a little bit of a sprint element by the quarterback to make sure that he can hand the ball to the back. And they're going to work to the left side of the offensive formation and Sprowles will work over there. And what you're hoping happens two things that the defensive end to that side works up the field as a pass

rusher and takes himself out. So Jason Peters just pretty much takes where he wants to go. But then the key block here is really by Jason Kelsey. And this is where having a really athletic center helps you out in the sprint draw game, because he has to work to get to Mason Foster and let's unfreeze it because this is an outstanding block. As you keep your eye on Kelsey right here. Look at him. Now, remember that's an offensive center who's two hundred and eighty five pounds

or so. And look at the athleticism, the mobility, the movement, the balance. It's the balance that's critical because he has to do this on the move. He can't just stop and block a guy. And there's another really good block by Zach Ertz on the backside to seal the other stack backer, Zach Brown. So let's clear the screen and run it and just Kelsey an unbelievable job. And here you see the sprint draw Sproles, makes a nice cutback and then takes Foster into the end zone. Really well designed,

well executed. Kelsey gills the second level and got two there. He's one of the best. Again, the athleticism that Kelsey has, he may be the best in the league at that. Yeah, I would say so. So Darren Sprowles gets on the board, the Eagles make it fourteen ten. They get a field goal just before halftime. Washington, So fourteen thirteen going into the locker room. All right, the complete all twenty two

reviews should just go up right now. Let's be honest, Why wait till eight nine o'clock in the morning, Just just put up. If anyone is still on the site right now, let them enjoy the All twenty two review Kersey Off, Fran Duffy and Greg Cosell. We're gonna take your final break here. Our first player up for

this week's nomination defensive end Brandon Grant. We've been kind of waiting for a breakout effort for him this season, and I thought the turning point of the game was after Josh Adams was stuffed on fourth and goal. Okay, Washington gets the ball back, Graham gets a tackle for loss, almost gets Peterson. There's a play right here, almost gets Pearson down for the safety. The balls at the one yard line, Eagles forced the three and out. They're able to turn on and get the touchdown in the next

drive and take the lead and don't look back. He also had a sack in this game. I thought Graham was around the football really helping set the edge and set the tone for the defensive line in this contest. Again, the type of contest we've been waiting for from BG this season. Yeah. I mean, much like when we talk about Jason Kelsey on the offensive side of the ball and how the old line has to really carry the water for that offensive side, the D line has to

do the same. And typically when the D line plays well, the defense is gonna play well. So it's great to see Brandon show some flashes and night getting there and make some plays. He's been close throughout the season when it comes to getting those sacks, and was just good to see him get in there and get a few hits on the quarterback tonight. All Right. Our second nominee wide receiver, Golden Tate, hey the breakout game for him that everyone's been waiting for since he was acquired as

a trade deadline. This is the amazing part of his stat line. Seven targets, seven catches, and you just felt that it was a much more natural fit getting him into the offensive flow where the first couple of games as an Eagle, they were trying to they were trying to create plays for him, which you would expect, but that really as we talked about earlier with zach Ert and whether or not it's been disrupting the offense, you felt that trying to force the ball and Golden Tape

was disrupting the offense. Tonight it was much more fluid. There a couple of scrambled drills where Tate wasn't the primary option but still made the play, you know, Tate showing off that run after the catch ability again getting his first touches. Yeah, that was the big play right there. That right there, you said to yourself, that's what we need to see more of. I thought it was just

a more natural figure that loved this play. Here where Wentz at the ball Life told them to go up field, and here's a touchdow where Wentz goes to his right, fires the dart and gets it in there for the score. And I know Golden Tate is rightfully the one of the Player of the Game nominees. But man watching Carson Wentz makes some of these throws to him, it's so reminiscent of the way Carson this throw right here, Are

you kidding me? He's coming to his left, waves Golden Tate up the field and then drops a feathery ball over the top of the defender to Golden. Take that. That's that's the Carson Wentz we saw last year, that play right there, getting outside the pocket, even the touchdown the Golden Tate where he saw Carson sort of he's in the pocket, he thinks about taking off, and then he decides it the last second not to take off, and he throws the ball to gold to take This

play right here. I mean, this is here in the pocket. He's dancing. He's dancing. This is what we saw Carson do time and time again last year at that quarterback position against Washington. I also wonder if taking the punt return duties off of Tate shoulders helped him, which the offense Sprowles did the punt return duties tonight. You wonder if that allowed Tape to get more into the float

of the offensive Golden Tate our second nominee. Oh, certainly that was remineste reminiscent of Week three rookie season, Darren Sprowles touched on against the Steelers. Yep, see your eyes lit up too, you do right away as well. So all right, so our last nominee. What more can we say? Every week there's gonna rename the award after him, so

the Toyota zach Ertz Player of the Week awards. So again, nine catches, ten targets, eighty three yards, you know, sets the franchise single season record for most catches in the year as ninety three. Now in the season, he's on the verge of eclipsing a thousand yards for the season. What more, we've we've been gushing about the entire night. You know, this is he he has said. You talk about how he's very humble and he's all about the team. He has said that he wants to be the greatest

tight end in franchise history. When all of a sudden, doune and he is well on his way to making that, at least number wise, he will be yes, numbers wise, yes, of course, you go, guys like Pete Wrest laugh, Yes, you guys who played in different errors and things of that nature. But still from a number standpoint, he's gonna most likely be the guy one to all of sudden tone. Yeah, and uh, it's a it's a pleasure to watch him

play every week. It's it's great to see a guy who continues to work at his craft and get better, never rests on his laurels, comes back every year where he's trying to add something else to his game so that he can be a complete player. And uh need more zach Ertz on your team. You need more guys like that on your team. So um Jess, kudos to him. Broke one of my former teammates' record in Brian Westbrook. But uh, I don't know if you could have if it could have happened for a better guy than a

guy like zach Ertz. Now that's again you said it earlier so succinctly and perfectly that you want guys to emulate guys. If guys are complaining about why they're not getting targets, look at zach Ertz to find out why you're not getting targets and do some of the things that he's doing to help yourself get the ball a little more in this offense. So vote now for the Toyota Player of the Week. Three great nominees. Other ones

that we could have thrown in mixed. Dais Sprowles could have been in the mix as well for getting his touchdown in his return to action. But Brandon Graham, Golden Tape, zach Ertz are your nominees. So before we wrap things up here, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule, and really it's Dallas week. Let's let's face the facts. Okay, tonight it was a must win game. Next Sunday is the must win game. You've already lost once a Dallas.

Dallas beat you in your own house. Now you get to go to Jerry World and hand it back to him and the whole world. Everyone is gonna be on the Cowboys bandwagon after upsetting the New Orleans Saints. So it's all there in front for the Eagles. They said it, they didn't expect to be six and six at this point of the year, but they're playing their best football, they're getting healthier, and they'd get a grand opportunity to take it to the Cowboys to show that they are

still the top dog. Forget underdogs. The top dog in the NFC East. Yeah, I mean you got December meaningful football, and that's what this team wanted. It's not the ideal situation, but it is the situation, and you still have a lot to play for. And whatever the goals were for this team at the beginning of the year, they are still there available to them winning this division, obviously getting in the postseason, and then going on that run once you're in. So those goals are still in front of

the Eagles. Despite the way this season has been up and down, all the adversity they've dealt with, they still have found themselves in this position and now they have to go out and take advantage of it. And as a player, you want to play in these type of games. You want to play. It's gonna be what Week thirteen is a week? Yeah? Week fourteen? Uh? National TV? Uh? You get you get America's game at four twenty five.

And so going up against one of your your your rivals and the Dallas Cowboys in their building, getting a chance to exact revenge on them in their building they beat you a couple of weeks ago. You get to return the favor to them and put yourself in a good position, uh, coming down the stretch. Yeah, you don't necessarily lock up a playoff position by winning, but you put yourself really a leg up on the Cowboys, which

is what you need to do. So, um, I'm excited, man, Sunday can't Sunday can't get here fast enough and so um uh, Chris, you know, a couple of weeks ago, we didn't know what the month of December was gonna be like for the Eagles. We knew they had games they had to play, but we didn't know what they would mean. And so as a right now, they're meaningful football games left to play, and none bigger than this

Sunday's game against the Cowboys. All right, So the Morning Show with the Angel Cataldi is going on now in Sports Radio and ninety four w IP. So in a couple hours when you jump on with John Marks for the afternoon show, what do you think the theme is gonna be. I think everybody's going to be excited. I think this is what the fans wanted to take care of. These two games at home. Put yourself in a position going to Dallas with something to play for, first place

on the line. There's obviously stuff we'll nitpick at about the game from from tonight, but for the most part, fans are gonna be happy that the Eagles found themselves in this position when a lot on the line comes Sunday. Last two seasons, the second meeting between the Eagles and Cowboys was meaningless. Right, won't be the case this time around in twenty eighteen, And it's a short week, so we're gonna turn the page quickly and get right into

Cowboys week. He's like, ree, I'm Chris McPherson. You've been watching the postgame show presented by Rico. Thanks for watching Eagles win twenty eighth or thirteen. Hey, Coach Doug Pearson will address the media at noon. Until then, get a nice little nap and we'll see you in a couple of hours
