Some questions from what's keeping on of practice, um, muscle spasms right here, So nothing crazy. I know y'all are like wanting to go every which direction. It's gonna be fine, keep going. Next question like trap trap neck area, So it's not a big deal. Once again, we're just being smart. You know, sometimes with throwers, like you just throw so much, like some things get aggravated. So this is the time of year where you just try to be smart do it.

Like I'm in the training room or a lot. We're getting a good regiment going on once again, Like you know, I want to be out there every single day, but right now we're just focused on getting this thing healthy, be back out there as soon as I can, and look forward to when I can be back out there, so hopefully really soon. You know, we're still talking about it day to day. We're you know, we're we're in about the training room right now, you know, going through

the rehab protocol. So we'll see. We never rule anything out, but at the end of the day, you know, we'll see what happens. You know, how it happened, just happened. You know, I don't really know what happened. It's just one of those things that just sort of happened one day and I noticed it was uncomfortable. So we talked about it, and you know, we decided that this was the best thing after doing a couple of tests, just

to be be smart. That's the big thing is we're being smart right now during this time of year, and uh, you know we're gonna do everything we can. We're gonna be smart. We're gonna continue this rehab protocol and then you know, you get smarter as you go through this stuff, so you know, be back out there soon. Giving Carson's process that gets to get back from you. Gotta make sure that you're healthy too, well, I think with anyone. Yeah, you just make sure you're healthy this time of year,

like make sure you're wade a role. You don't want to aggravate something like bad. I mean, you know, we're we're being really smart right now. I mean that's all I mean. I'm gonna say we're being smart every time. So veteran player, obviously, if you have a comfort level or up far as how much you need to play anyone,

is it just about health more? Yeah, I mean you want to be out there and playing with your guys, like you know, the preseason's valuable is just skimming back in the stadium, UM, going through the game day routine, the rhythm of game day, being in the locker room, like you're gonna get those nerves that we all get as players, and then the butterflies and going out there for the first play. UM. You know you want to play. UM.

Last preseason I didn't get a chance to play. And but fortunately I've played a lot of football, so you just sort of lean on that. You Football is such a rhythm game. That's where it takes a little bit of time. Like it took me a little bit of time when I started playing at the end of the year to get that rhythm back. But that's why the preseason is great. That's why training camps great. UM. That's why every single rap rep is so valuable. UM. But

I don't have like a target amount of plane. UM. I just really just want to be back on practice field healthy. UM. Radar rolls on a hot day like this, preparation UM. Hydration before practice UM is key. Uh. You know, hydration during practice, you know, sipping on water key. Uh. You know you're gonna get loose pretty quickly out here, So just trying to be smart and not trying to overdo everything. Um, it really tests you. I mean the heats different. I mean we're gonna play in some hot games.

So this is great. You know, this is great to be out here in this humid, hot weather. Um, just stepping in the huddle. Um. I know, as practices go on, as guys, you know, you start sweating a lot, a lot of foods are drained. Like sometimes it gets a little harder, the focus, harder to think. So that's why these practices are are great for us because you know, we're being competitive. We're competing every single play. Um. You know, and I think you just when you watch prodorly, you

see a lot of that. You see a lot of great work whom the young guys who've noticed Thursday night, Thursday and night. You know, I think, you know, Dallas had a great camp. I think just from the tight end for position. Um, I think he's a really good player that's coming along every single day. Um, you know, he's gonna keep working every single day. He's obviously young, but he's got a lot of great coaches and players around to help him. So I think he'd be a

guy that you know, will do well. I think, you know, another guy would be like Richard Davis. I think he's, you know, from a guy that's undrafted, um, you know, coming in here in his second year. I think he's a He's a very talented player, can do a lot of different things when the ball is in his hand. He's very dynamic and a lot of a lot of guys might not necessarily you know, know much about him, but I think he's a guy that can, you know, do some really special things. So I'm excited to see

those guys play. He's pretty obvious that the team knows you and knows Carson. What can they learn about Nate iron Rod, I guess Thursday and the next one about Yeah, he's a great opportunities for you know, Nate and Joe Um to go out there and play, um, you know, if I'm not able to play and uh, you know. I think that anytime you get reps with the ones where you sort of get thrust into a position you're not really expected. That's the life of a backup quarterback,

like when you're in that situation. I think Nate has the potential and ability to be a starter in this league. I think he's a guy that shoots. Since he's gotten here, he's he continues to get better, he continues to excel, he continues to just grow every single day. So, UM, I expect him to, you know, start in this league. But I think right now is a valuable time where he's you know the other day in practice, you know, stepping in you know with the ones. I mean, that's

that's real, Like, that's what you have to do. That's what I had to do last year. Where you're coming off the bench in a game, you know into the third quarter you got to win it. Um. That that's what's tough about being a backup, where you know, when you're starter, you're getting all the reps, you're prepared, you're mentally prepared, you have the rhythm with all the guys. Well, you got to catch that rhythm and you have to

catch it fast. So all these practices, these reps on the preseason UM extremely valuable for Nate and Joe, and I think that as you've seen the last couple of days, they've you know, it's not been too big for him, but they starting to settle down because it is different when you're repping with guys that you're not normal just not used. You're not used to so, um, I think they've excelled. Every single day week Lee John's must say,

like in a meeting room feels like the super Bowl week. Yeah, I mean, you know we were working every single day. I mean we're we're getting ready to play on Thursday. Obviously it's training camp, so it's a little bit it's a different rhythm. Um. Usually a lot of teams use the third week is like the rhythm week of of a regular season game. But yeah, I mean, aytime you turn the lights on, I don't care what game. I mean you're playing a game like you're going out there

and you're actually like on the field running plays. People are watching, you got the officials, everything's going on. I mean, you get the butterflies. You start feeling that feeling. So yeah, absolutely it's game week. They talked about getting some game working with Mike and the press and their new roles around board. That is, how comfortable are you at this point with them, now that you're several weeks into training camp? Just in every rolls, Yeah, I mean I'm really comfortable

with them. And we had all ta's I've known press for you know, this is going on six years for us. You know, coach grow was here last year. He was there a few weeks when I was in LA and Oxnard, so I got to meet him a little bit then before that whole thing, and uh, you know, great personalities, Like we're in there. We're in the meeting rooms with them every single day, so that's where you really bond because they were with the receivers last year. So this

training camp has been great for us. They're great coaches and I think just you know, from a relationship perspective, it's grown. And then we're getting an idea like how they coach what they do because I mean it's different than you know, fan can flip like it's you know, but they're they're still great coaches. So we're enjoying it and um, it's gonna be a fun journey with him.

Is a month of play. Hypothetically, if this were the regular Sea City for whatever reason you read the starters roll, what would be be approaches to this sortis would be something that you would play through. You know, that's once again it's a hypothetic situation. So um, we will address you know, I'll addressed after ever comes to be. So we're gonna right now we're in training camp. You know, we're getting right for a preseason game. Um. You know, as as a football player, I always say this is

an athlete. You're always gonna have nicks and bruising and different things going on, UM that you play through. That's part of being an athlete. UM. There's also a time for everything, so you try to you know, this is a time where you want to be smart. You want to I want to be out there and play, but I also know, like what's best for a team will me getting to be one hundred percent. Um. So that's sort of how I look at it. It is different for you now having a Press Mike in there and

then Frank. How was it different? You know, just different personalities. I think that you know, you're around each other so much, just you're different people. So you're you're getting to build that relationship that you know, I was with you know, flipping Frank every single day and a meeting. Why you know, Mike and Press were downstairs with the receiver, so we didn't have that time together. So you're really just getting

to know each other more. And I you've heard me talk a lot about you know, football special because of the relationships teammates and coaches alike. I mean, that's that's where you see the bond, Like it's not just players, Like you have to actually like enjoy being around your coach and trust it. And I think you saw that when you get the mic up stuff from last year when we're talking to coaches. You know, I use the

Philly Special play as a great example. You know, Doug and I have a lot of trust to each other. We've known each other for a long time to where that conversation if you don't know each other probably doesn't go very well. But because we know each other, we're like, you know, let's do it. And I'd use that example because that's so important to be a winning team. Is it's not just players, it's everyone in this building getting

along to each other. So all this is is just us have an opportunity every single day to be in the film room to learn from them, for them to learn from us, and just go from that. Thanks guys, mm hm
