Welcome everyone at the Eagle three to sixty on this Wednesday at an Overcare complex. Dave Spinnarow Eagles Insider, along with Joe di camera one final look back at Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills. Joe, we haven't heard from you since that game. What do you think about it? Big win, Dave, very big win for the Eagles, the franchise and the city. Listen, they're back in the fight now, you know what. That was a game that was a fight,

that was a close game, Dave. That was one of those games kind of reminded me of some past years at Lincoln Financial Field. The crowd roused up, the team playing with great passion, and that's what you need to see from the franchise moving forward. In the final couple of games here, we've got a three game sprint and out of the finish, three teams in the division all in the you know, in the tie and the leaf for the division, and it's going to be a sprint

to the finish. But I like what I see from Sam Bradford six and two in the last eight games that he has started and finished. I like what I see from the defense, clearly playing better than they had during the losing streak. Hey, listen, it's December. It's mid December. There's a chances in January football Scuse Yeah, I know. We've got a game on Sunday night, the Arizona Cardinals. Eleven and two. They come to town. A victory with buy the Cardinals gives them the NFC West title of Eagles,

of course, tied for first in the NFC East. Your opinion, Joe on on Arizona, is this team for real? Yeah? Yeah, they're for real. I mean I think about it. They are in the top four both offensively and defensively in all of football this year. You know, from a yardage standpoint, they're eleven and two. They're also in a battle with Carolina for home field advantage. You know, they're very likely to get a buy and for them, the challenges try

to get a home field all the way throughout the NFC. Now, they probably won't be able to pull that off because Carolin hasn't lost it, Arizona's lost twice. But they still have that motivation. They're a heck of a football team. I think they've got two years in a row with chips on their shoulder day you know, you remember two years ago the Eagles and Cardinals playing here, a close game that the Eagles won, but ultimately that kept Arizona

out of the playoffs. Two years ago, landshear Arizona heck of a team, but they lose Carson Palmer. They lose their second stringer. So in many ways, they really lost the opportunity to do damage in the playoffs because they just had no shot once they got to the third stringer. They got Carson Palmer healthy, He's playing at an MVP caliber level this year. They got a really good defense. They're a heck of a squad. It creates a real big challenge for the Eagles. We'll take a really deep

look at those Arizona Cardinals in just a bid. First things first, let's get you caught up on everything happening here at the Novicare Complex. Some injured players back on the training field. Alex Smith our Eagles three sixty update. Hi everyone, I'm Alex Smith and this is a three sixty update. The big news here at the Novicare Complex on Wednesday was head coach Chip Kelly meeting with the media before practice, and Kelly spoke about how even though the Eagles have won two games in a row to

get back into the playoff push. There's still another level that every one of the Eagles players can reach. I think there's another level for everybody. So I don't think anybody has ever arrived at this game. And I think Sam would be the first to tell you the same thing is that he's gotten better each week. Um, I think he's has a better understanding of what's going on that you know, that kind of the game slows down

for him. You can see him, you know, getting to different things, which puts him in a position where you know he can now get to the second, third, fourth option on some plays. Um, he's doing a good job with a lot of things. We've we've given him his hands as as the season's gone along, we've given them more things to do when he's handled them extremely well.

So one of those players that can still ascend their game is quarterback Sam Bradford, who, even though he's getting more and more comfortable in this Eagles offense, still believe that there's more room to grow during the final three games of the year. You know, just be more efficient, you know, better in some of our situations, you know, third down, red zone. I think or areas that you know,

we can improve and I can improve. And I think you look at the really good offenses, you know, they keep themselves on the field on third down, they convert in the red zone, and so I think, you know, just playing more efficient in some of those situations. On the other side of the football, the Eagles will face Carson Palmer and a talented cast of Arizona Cardinals receivers. Inside the locker room, we heard from a number of players who spoke about what the challenge will be like

on Sunday night. Well, they're a loving personnel team. They're an inside run game, and then they can throw the ball all over the field. So I think obviously the big X plays are gonna be huge for us up to elamate those and then disrupting him and not letting him get into a rhythm where he's just throwing the ball over. I mean, we got a lot of we got a lot that we gotta handle this week. As far as you know their receivers and you know, they

got a nice running game. I mean, they played well together. Put it like that, they played well together. I think that communication is, you know, phenomenal, and those guys you can you can just tell that they don't want page.

I think it's his work ethic, honestly. You know, I know some guys who who know him personally, and you know, they just say the work he puts in the off season, Um, he might be one of the best rib receivers out there to go go get the ball with his hands, you know, and his strength at the point of attack. And finally, we'll wrap things up here from the Novocare Complex with an injury report. Cornerback Byron Maxwell was the only Eagle that did not practice today as he deals

with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, wide receiver Jordan Matthews is dealing with a back injury and he was limited in today's training session. You can check out the rest of the practice report, as well as all the latest Eagles news right here on Philadelphia Eagles dot com. Thanks so much, Alex. You know it's interesting Joe Bruce Arians was kind of the unknown head coach three years ago. Arizona hired him.

The Eagles of course hired Chip Kelly many other coaches around the league, and Bruce Arians has had more success than all of them. He's he's really done a terrific job. It's terrific job, unbelievable job. I spend some time with Bruce at the Maxwell Football Awards his past march down in Atlantic City when he was honored as the Coach of the Year last year. He's just he's done an amazing job. And here he goes again. He's got a squad playing great football, and there's no doubt about it.

He brings a toughness and look, it's it's you know, we talk a lot about what different coaches bring. Schematically, one of his things shots down the field. I mean that's a vertical pass, an attack. They take shots down the field. They have a lot of success with him, they sure do. And he's also surviving the loss of his defensive coordinator, Todd Bowles from a year ago, who's now, of course, the head coach of the New York Jets.

We'll talk to our head coach, Chip Kelly when he comes into the studio a little one on one in just a bit. We also have some cover two Chris McPherson with some Philadelphia Eagles beat reporters. But when we return to Eagles three sixty, Joe and I will take our first look extended look at the Arizona Cardinals. How in the world is this football team? Eleven and two. We'll talk about it when we return. I scept to Philly.

I sept the Philly. You'll sep up Philly. The bus, the trolley, the train, one twenty four, Root, twenty three, seventeen to training, jenkintown to her house, his house, to Betsy's house, city hall, media, to work, to school, to the mall, fraud Street, to the game. I sept to Philly anywhere? What makes a Temple owl meet Stella? She's wise, fierce, and she's not alone. Temple University where owls call home.

We are the Cherry and White. The city is our classroom, and we lead the rush hour, making our mark on every field around the world. A world without Temple, well, that's like the sky without the North Star Temple, never stopping. Experience the power of physical therapy Novoca Rehabilitation. ticket Exchange dot com. Well, Joe, we know what's ahead. Arizona on Sunday and then the NFC East to close out the season. Yeah, gotta win. Gotta win two of the three. I feel very confident. Gotta win two of the three. Obviously, you want those two to be if you had to pick two, Washington and the Giants games because they frankly do matter more. But it's not like Arizona doesn't matter. It matters quite a bit as well.

It's in the Eagles fate. But here's a deal, Washington and the Giants control their fate as well, and that's what makes us so compelling down the stretch. You know, big wins by both of those other franchises this past week as well. First time all season long all three teams won on the same weekend. So here we go six and seven. I think eight and eight probably gets it done, you know what I'm saying. I mean, it

gets it done. But of course if someone goes three, another're gonna win, and that would be nine and seven. First things first, Arizona. On Sunday night, we take our first look at the Arizona Cardinals. We spoke about Carson Palmer earlier terrific season, a seasoned veteran who stands in there against all kinds of pressure and throws the ball very well vertically. A player whose career at one point Joe was kind of considered washed up. Very similar to

Sam Bradford, who's come on strong lately. Six and two in games in which he starts and finishes, the edge probably goes to Carson Palmer, but Bradford teams can be closing the distance. Yeah, I'm really I'm happy with what Bradford's doing playing better football here lately. I think he's much more calm. I'm in the pocket. You know, he was very skittish in the beginning, and we all, I think we're hoping that there were some rust there. Not that you were hoping week one that there was ruscus.

You wanted them to come out and play great r out of the game. But once we saw the game versus Atlanta, the game versus Dallas was all right. Hopefully there's some russ there that'll fall off as the season progresses. I think it's fair to say it has. I mean, he really has played much better football, which is good to say. Now. Carson Palmer, on the other side, hack him a challenge. Like Bradford, a former number one overall pick, and is Dave alluded to, you know, playing some great

football right now. Really, I think, in any ways the best of his career. Multiple knee injuries that were devastating to his career, devastating to his franchises. But he's gotten it together. He's old, I mean, he's in the ump for thirty, so he doesn't have any more years left. But this is a great opportunity for him and his team and they take shots down the field, and he's a great long ball thrower, and the run game is something that both teams want to get going and get

going early. Now. Of course, the Eagles have taken the running back by committee approach with really four backs active against the Bills, Kenyan Barner getting five reps, but it's Ryan Matthews, DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles. And for the Cardinals, they dip deep into their depth chart and they go with David Johnson here, a young guy who's who's been pretty productive, at least against the Minnesota Vikings. For sure, it was, yeah, he's done a nice job. He's over

four yards a carry. Also get some balls out of the backfield, you know as a receiver, So you know the Eagles are going to have to deal with that. You know, from a standpoint of the Eagles, I applaud what Chip's done diversifying that we're spreading it around. As far as the carries, I don't think there's any way

around that. It was time to minimize DeMarco's influence as far as having that heavier workload because Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews can play ball and they're playing ball to pretty You know, look, Matthews wasn't great last week versus Buffalo, but before the injury, he was obviously playing very well. So he hope now two weeks removed from coming back, he can be better. And I would just continue to rotate all three of them. Barn aroun from time to

time as well. I like what Chip did there, David. I think it was a very necessary adjustment to help this team have an optimism chanceman to playoffs. I agree. I just think that we are all so focused on the running backs. But it's the point is they're not running the football as well as they want to go out who the running because the offensive line he's not opening wholes consistent and especially on the interior that there's

no doubt about it. But as long as Chip's going to run this offense a lot of times sideline of sidelines to try to turn a corner, and that's what he does. I mean, that's just bottom line, that's what Chip does. DeMarco wasn't doing that well enough. He just wasn't. So it was if you're going to run that offense, that adjustment was imperative. All right. The wide receivers, the Eagles need to be more consistent catching the football three drops on third down on Sunday, Nelson Aglore two drops

although he had the nice touchdown catched. The Eagles must be more consistent catching the football and the matchup for the Eagles defense on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals formidable. Larry Fitzgerald will be a first ballot Hall of Famer and he's got some help. Yeah, he does. I'll tell

you what. First off, Fitzgerald, what a player. There's a lot of people have thought, Look, I guess he's a little diminished from where he was a few years ago, but the sense was that he was maybe getting near the end. Tremendous resurgence for Larry Fitzgerald this season, you know, with where he is. You see those stats with the yards and the receptions and the touchdowns. Very very Look, we saw Larry Fitzgerald years ago burning the Eagles in

the NFCA Championship game. He keeps going. So just a tremendous, tremendous career from Fitzgerald. You know, you also consider, you know, John Brown, the young player and what he did last year and burning the Eagles late in that game. A touchdown, big over the top touchdown beating Kerry Williams and ultimately you know that that helped Arizona win that game. You know, young player making some plays long ball fret close to a thousand yards on the season, and then other players

to contribute as well, including Michael Floyd. They really do spread the ball around a lot to their receivers. And you know, as far as the Eagles, we know the deal they are. They are a team that largely throws the ball, you know underneath that's just kind of what they do. Now, it was good last week to see Chip and Bradford dial up more plays down down the field. You had, you know, the long past of Cooper Early, you had the completely which was incomplete, you had the

completion and Nelson Agler. You also had an incompletion at Jira two two and another incompletion the Agler. They took the shots and now what that said, they could have taken more shots. Having reviewed the film yesterday, there was a lot of opportunity. Buffalo had their safeties way close to the line of scrimmage. It was a great opportunity one on one down the field, and Bradford didn't throw

it as often as I think he should have. Huff and Iglore were streaking down the field a couple of different times with opportunities, and Bradford did the swing pass to the running backs of the little pop pass to the tight ends. If teams play the Eagles like that, he's got to go over the top because you can get seven points, you can get boom like that, you can get a quick seven. It was great to see

him do it once last week, Dave successfully. I'm telling you they can do it more and should do it more. And the Buffalo Bills certainly left that middle of the field wide open. Arizona on Sunday night will bring a lot of the blitz, a lot of the pressure. The Eagles handled it well last week. They handled it well last year against Arizona. We shall see what the game plan is. To move the football down the field. You gotta get some more chunk plays, no doubt in this offense.

How about tight end zach Ertz. A couple of big plays for the Eagles on Sunday, one of which at the end of the game Joe led to the game winning points. Yeah, game winning points and a and I know Chips not big on talking about pick plays and new or should he big but if he has me in my opinion, Josh Huff very successfully did his role in that play, cleared out some receiver, that cleared out some defenders, and obviously Ertz made one nice move to

get it past the defender and down that sideline. Was an absolutely huge player with about five minutes ago in the game, and I think in many ways it shows what Artz has been doing these last five six weeks. He's come on. You know, beginning of the season, he was only getting into two three catches a game. Not that it's increased so dramatically, but it's increased enough that

it's helped the Eagles win. And it's you know, a tight end can be a big friend to a quarterback, especially a quarterback trying to find his wife, especially a quarterback that doesn't have the greatest outside wide receivers to rely on. I'm very impressed with what Artz is doing lately. And Brent Selak he does it every year blocking and receiving, and I think his receiving, as we see, has also come on a little bit more as the season's going on.

We know Chips using a lot of two tight end offense, formations. Very impressed with what the Eagles are doing because and jone sleep on Darren Fells nearly fifteen yards as the per reception as the understudy to the galaxy of stars that Arizona has in it's running game. So let's look at the offense. Now, the defense Eagles, they've struggled statistically, but they kept Buffalo out of the end zone last week. Arizona's defense outstanding and they will again bring the pressure.

Excellent on the back end. And some really undersized active linebackers. Yeah, some good players. I mean, they're they're good at all levels. First off, let's look at this fourth in the entire NFL. You know, as far as yards per game. I mean, they're a really really good defense. So you start with that premise. As we know they've got, you know, some outstanding players in the secondary. Patrick Peterson, you know, not quite a young player anymore, but kind of on the

youngish side. But but boy boy, what a player he's been throughout his career. Guy that can make plays on the ball. They're just they're a very very very good, complete football team that can come after you. Now, you know, this is the challenge for Sam Bradford now he's going to have to deal with that. And this is where I really think when we talk big picture about what the Eagles are looking to accomplish defensively, I see an Eagles team that has found its footing. After a couple

of shaky performances. They found their footing. Billy Davis what he's doing. He's blitzing Lass, He's helping Eric Rowe, He's helping Byron Maxwell. Eagles have only blitzed ten total times in the last two weeks. It's ten blitz is for the last one hundred and six dropbacks between Tom Brady and Tyrod Taylor. That's less than ten percent. That's a very small percentage, but it's creating success because they're helping

the guys on the back end. So I feel like the Eagles d and of course the Eagles defensive line is dominating Fletcher Cox's planning an all pro level, There's no doubt about it. So I feel like that is taken care of to beat an Arizona Cardinals eleven and two football team to win games in January, which is ultimately what the goal is. I believe it is the offense. It is incumbent on the offense, Dave, that's the group

that's got to now step its game up. Defense has made strides offense, get it going more and I put that mostly on the long passing game and obviously more consistency with the Russia. And let's not forget the special teams have been outstanding for the Eagles. Another takeaway against Buffalo that led to seven points, and that was obviously very important for this football team. So that's a look

at the Arizona Cardinals. When we return to the the Eagles three sixty, we will take a look at the Eagles from a different perspective. Chris McPherson with Josh Punell from Birds twenty four seven,

Brandy League Gauton from Bleeding Green Nation. Just how good are these Philadelphia Eagles? Hello everyone, I'm Chris McPherson, and welcome to this week's edition of Covered two Here in Philadelphia Eagles dot Com. The Eagles have won two straight games after defeating the Buffalo Bills twenty three to twenty. We're gonna look back at that and preview the Sunday

night showdown with the eleven and two Arizona Cardinals. And to help me do that, I brought in Josh Punell from Birds twenty four seven and branded Lee Gauton from Bleeding Green Nation. I want to start first at the quarterback position. Sam Bradford returns to the lineup the Eagles out now on back to back games. Is it time to start thinking of Bradford as the long term answer at the position? Josh Well meeting in the last four weeks, we certainly seen improvement. The thing that Julie stuck out

to me times pocket. Movement is footwork, and that Nelson Aglow fifty three yard touched down me. The throw was obviously a beautiful throw, but the best part of it, in my mind, was climbing the pocket, moving around and avoiding the rush, keeping your eyes up field. And that's the type of thing that you need to see out of Bradford over the next two weeks to extend him. I mean, his passer rating under pressure has doubled in

the last four games compared to the first seven. Now, the whole body of work in the season is not impressive. I think he's twenty eighth and passer rating, But if you continues this progression, then I mean you're gonna need to extend him. Blg agree or disagree. I agree that he's earning himself at least some more time in the future. I don't really know if it's enough to be the long term solution. You look at the last four games, I've touchdowns. The one interception not even really his fault.

You know, Brent Sell can make that catch, maybe the play doesn't get confirmed, you know, the ref to get a better look at that. So kind of a weird interception there, But overall, playing really well, not enough I think for me yet to say he's the long term answer. I guess the challenge will be how long would you have to extended because he'll be one of the top options on the free agent market if he was able

to get to there. Looking at the running back position, that was a big storyline going into the Buffalo game because he had everyone healthy. What would DeMarco Murray's role be? Could Ryan Matthews contribute right away? BLG All four guys were active, Three of them had touches Matthews, Murray and Sprowls. Is this rotation effective enough to carry the rushing attack? Knowing that that's what the Eagles want to kind of generate the offense and get it going. I think they

can make some more tweaks. I think he'd like to get Matthews a little bit more involved, especially now that you know he's healthier. At least we should be. You know, this is the first week back last week, so I think he's kind of limiting him a little bit, and I think Barner should be more involved. The fact that he didn't get any carries to me, it was a little disappointing because he's been productive. When you've given him some touches, so I think there are some things they

can change in that rotation. Josh, what are your thoughts back rotation? Yeah, I agree that Matthew should be getting as the majority of the carries, But as Brandon mentioned, I mean when you bring him back and misses three games with a concussion, I mean the last couple of weeks. You know, Chip has gotten a lot of black for the running back split, and earlier on the season, I agreed that Matthew should have been getting one for the last couple of weeks. I mean with Matthews coming back,

I mean I was fine to split. Then two weeks ago when people are talking about you know, Murray's or Clow declined, I mean, it made a lot of sense to me to get a barner and sprowls in space. So I think going forward, as Matthews gets healthier, that he needs to get the bulk of the carries. But it's gonna be tough balancing. I can give four different running backs that touches. All right, gentlemen, look ahead to

Sunday night, the Arizona Cardinals come to town. They're eleven and two, can possibly win the MC West Division mathematically, the Eagles don't have to have this game because they can still win a division by winning a week sixteen and seventeen. But still, Josh, is this a statement game for the Eagle to see how far along they've come? Yeah? Absolutely, And I think what it will show is just how much confidence you can have in the Eagles in regard

to whether the one a playoff game. I mean, as you said, they can lose this game then win the last two won the division and they've shown they can beat the Patriots to be a solid Bills team. But if they can be Cardinals, it'll show a consistency and be that they could win a game is the playoffs? Brandon, what do you want to see from the game this Sunday night? I agree with that, and I think we've seen the defense make a lot of progress since those

two terrible blowout losses. I think, you know, they've really come back to form. I think what you're looking for now as the offense, You know, how does this Eagles offense continue to progress? Especially against the Cardinals defense that has a lot of good players, a lot of talent, It's going to be very tough. So I want to see how Sam Bradford continues, I want to see how

the running back rotation as we talked about continues. I'm really looking to see how the offense does all right, that's a new touris BLG Brandley Gatton from Bleed Green Nation and Josh Banille from Burt twenty four seven And I'm Chris McPherson. Let's first talk about special teams and the contributions once again that you got and to win over Buffalo. What's it mean to this football team to have special teams? Well, obviously, when the games are this close in this league, you have to be good in special teams and the ability

it gives you to flip the field. I thought Donny Jones played outstanding, you know, average over fifty yards upon Caleb Stargers had three big field goals for us, and then we had the huge turnover that resulted in a touchdown for US. So again it's a key contribution. But with games in this league being so close, twenty five percent of the games in this league's decided by three points or less, special teams are a huge factor in that.

What makes for a great gunner because Shay is getting double now and then Jaalen comes down and kind of standing there for the in position when the when the punt is muffled. What makes forty good, well, it's their ability to get out of press coverage. And then what's happening now is demanding it, so they're not usually they don't double both of those guys. If they do, then they're going to freeze things up inside. But because two two have done such a good job of being a

gun or now he's demanding the double team. As he's demanding the double team with the addition to Jaalen Watkins, now he's got to beat single coverage and its ability to beat press coverage and then running get down the field. And we've got some guys that take a lot of pregnant e j. Biggers has done a good job, whether Josh huss has been not standing for us. So we've got a couple of guys we can rotate through there.

But we've got a few right now that are really playing at a high level on the offensive side of the ball, some really good success on third down, some key conversions. What makes it work on third down? Well, it actually could have been better. We had three drops on our own that that we dropped. You know, it wasn't a stop by them, that was on us. So, UM, I think we're doing a good job in protection. Uh, Sam's being very smart in terms of where he's going

with the football. Um, guys are understanding really what our plan is on third down and how to execute and um, the ability for us to move the ball offensively is key to us sustaining on the field on third down and converting him getting first downs. And I think everybody's really just kind of bought into the plant. Sam had

really good success throwing the ball down the field. Once again, what goes into being accurate, I'm not every quarterback is accurate obviously down So what goes into being accurates down the field, Well, a lot of it's just a fundamental technique.

So you're throwing the football and how do you get it out and already throwing it with your you know, with your body or with your arm, you know, and I think Sam's a real has a real quick release, but he's a full body thrower in terms of being able to deliver downfield and throws it very accurately downfield. A lot of it is protection. Do you give the quarterback time? Obviously if the routes are going to get farther down the field and you have to protect a

little bit longer. So done a good job from that standpoint, and you know Sam's very accurate down the field and when coverages dictate it, you can take your shots down the field. Ship How do you feel about the offense and where it is right now? Um, I think we're a work in progress. You know, we've gotten better and there's certain areas and but there's still a lot of

room for improvement. You know, we're doing enough to win, as we have done in our last two weeks, but I think it's one of those things as we're pleased with it, but we're not We're not satisfied. We'll continue to try it, try to get better on every aspect of it. You've seen it since you've been here, We've seen it the world teams to be now recognizing Fletcher Cox for what he's doing on the football field. He also last week was named the winner of the d

Block Courage Award in the vote by his teammates. Having that kind of person and player on your team wasn't mean to you. Yeah, Futch has always been since I've been here, just a very disruptive force on the defensive line. He's very difficult to block in a one on one situation. He really commands a double team most of the time in there. He's dynamic enough to play defensive and he can also play inside at defensive tackle and nose guard.

He's got great quickness for a big guy, but he can also overpower you if you if you leave him in one on one situation. So it's really the total package in there along with him. The run defense has been outstanding. What are you seeing with that group? Just the same. You know, we've been good against the run. We had two weeks where we weren't very good against the run in the you know, against Detroit and against

Tampa Bay. But overall, it starts with our guys being able to set the edge on the outside and Brandon Graham and Connor Barwon have done a really good job of that. And then you take the three defensive lineman and their ability to eat up blocks and eat up space and defeat one on ones, and then linebackers that can run from sideline of sideline and contain everything. So

it's really a total team defense. But you know, one of the keys to us being successful in the last two weeks is we've really shut down people's run the game. The offense of Arizona comes to town on Sunday night, Carson Palm, you've spoken highly of him. What impresses you when you watch him play, well, just really how is

total command of what they're doing. You know, he's coming off an injury last year where he towards a cl and then most guys at that age late thirties don't bounce back like that, but he's he doesn't seem like he's missed a step. He's extremely accurate quarterback. He stands in the pocket, very tough, very resilient, um never gets flustered by the rush or blitz that's coming at him, and can deliver the ball. And they've got a lot of explosive weapons that he can get the football too.

So um, it's a it's a real good combination that's going to be a difficult challenge for us. Are they balanced offense? Yeah, I mean we all know about going down the field. Do they do a lot very much? So? They run the ball extremely well, you know, That's the one thing and a lot of Carson's big plays come off of play action because you do. They do force

you to defend the run. And if you do do a good job defend on the run and devoting maybe a safety down the box stopping the run, then they get an opportunity to throw the ball over the top their defense. Last year, the last couple of years you've seen them, Todd Bowls was the defensive coordinator. Now it's James Betcher. And do they still blitz a lout? Do they still bring that team kind of pressure? Yeah? They They lead the National Football League in the amount of blitzes.

They boots almost fifty percent of the time, so one out of every two snaps. It's actually increased since Todd has left there. Um it starts because they have a good secondary by Patrick Peterson that can cover, and they don't they don't mind leaving him out there by himself on an island, So they generate a lot of pressure. They're athletic. They're fast, they run around, and that's going to be another challenge for us offensive Sam seemed to

handle the pressure really well against Buffalo. Is that the way you saw it? Yeah, I thought our whole group did. I thought our offensive line did a great job in terms of our pickups and given Sam time to make plays. And I thought, because they of how they boots us, they gave us the ability to throw the ball down the field and I think we've made him pay for it. Thanks Coach, God look on some day. We're back, Dave Spidero, Joe Decamera our final segment on Eagles three sixty and Joe.

It's interesting as you kind of take a look at this entire season. You look at the draft class and some of the contributions the Eagles have gotten from these rookies Jordan Hicks early, Nelson Agilore now Eric Row. Of course, it seems to have made quite an impact on this season. Yeah, they've they've played better as the year's gone on, and they needed to, Dave, because no team's gonna go from where the Eagles were to up the standings without individual

players playing better football. Nelson Agilor's touchdown the other day was a huge play in the football game. It really dramatically helped the Eagles win the game. Those are the kind of players you need now. You want to see it more and you want to see it more consistently. As Dave alluded to earlier in the show, Nelson Agloor were two big drops in that game. That's not good. So I wouldn't say that he's you know, sort of come through it yet and is you know, really where

he needs to be. I think there's still elements at his game that you want to see him work on. The route running is a factor. The explosiveness. I know some people that think he's not as explosive as they anticipated, looking you know at his workout at USC that's something that you know. Hopefully year two he can make a jump and get that better. I think there can be more physicality with him running after the catch. He doesn't really have much of that right now to be able

to get the ball and run through defenders. With that said, he is improving. He dealt with an injury earlier this year. He's playing better football, and you hope that in these last three games he can raise his game even more. As far as Eric Row, now that's another player, Now that's a guy. I think that is further along than where Nelson Aglor is right now, because you know, you look at where he was a couple of weeks ago, thrown in the fire the game versus Detroit, the injured

in Nolan Carroll. It's like, whoa, this is a real This seemed like a real problem. And he has for two consecutive weeks played very well. Now again I credit Billy Davis helping him not as many blitzes really does give him, you know, greater security back there with safeties and linebackers able to drop into his area. But with that said, listen, this is the NFL. These are great wide receivers and he's dealing with him and right now he's playing at a decent, decent level that has helped

this team play better football. And he'll have a really tough assignment getting help this week. There are going to be times when he will be alone, but he'll match up well with the physical nature of Larry Fitzgerald and with Floyd the speed of John Brown. Now that's something that is going to fall into the hands of the safety's Eagles cannot let Brown get down the field. Watch

for a lot of EJ Biggers in this game. And Ed Reynolds, Well, Ed Reynolds, you better take good angles every time on those throws down the field or it will result in seven points for the Cardinals or six points since the pat is no longer fall at seven. But I get your it's not automatically. It's not automatically anyway. We got coming up on philadelph Eagles dot Com for you. Our Amiros was on the menu segment for you. Glenn mac Now in studio on Thursday. It's his Bold Predictions time.

How about that He'll give us three of us five. We go behind enemy lines and find out all about the Arizona Cardinals and the great Merrill res in studio talking about a primetime game on Sunday and the Eagles coming down the stretch in December once again. Are they ready to take control of the NFC East? Joe, you answer that question, I don't have an answer. I gotta watch and I'll say I'll see what happens. I'm tired of predict him my predictions are typically horrendous this year,

as are most of us. Here's the bottom line, six and seven, go out there, win games. You're gonna make the playoffs. Thanks Joe, Thanks Joe. What do you want a prediction? No, I just want to know how you feel about the team. Do you feel like they're they're ready to be a consistent down this stretch team. I really feel it's such an up in the air, Dave. I mean, I'm not trying to skirt out of the answer. I think the Eagles are playing better ball. I like

the Bradford's playing better. He's definitely better than Sanchez. They got a legit shot. I don't like that the final games in New York. That bothers me. That bothers me a lot, because you're talking about Week seventeen in early January with Eli Manning versus Sam Bradford, and Eli Manning has home field advantage. That bothers me. You know, the win versus Tony Romo and Dallas two years ago wasn't a Week seventeen win versus Tony Romos inn't playing the game,

so that that bothers me. But having two of the three games at home gives the Eagles an advantage, and I don't think that. I mean, we all know the Giant's defense isn't very good, and I don't think Washington's a great team. I think if the Eagles handle their business, they're going to be in decent shape. But they gotta go out there and do it all. It starts on Sunday night. Joe Camera, Dave Spidero, we thank you for

joining us on Eagles three to sixty. Have yourselves a great Eagles Day to take to make your dost
