The lights are on. There's a chill over air and a lot of stakes. It's the Eagles and the Giants. Welcome to Lincoln Financial Field for Monday night football. Back goes Fatty. He fires and he completes it out at the plumbing to thenl taken boils taken away from the mill by the Vico ryans u. First down Frightford's back.

He's looking, he's plutting it to the end time and it is no brook touns down waveless un He pumped him fire to the part he hitt acepted and running into times down He's gone camera up in sacks, betting his back again and then can't he cloat it out. He's done getting and getting plumbles the football and my team even but we haven't Fatty back again. He's crying,

hain't done up? Back goes Manny. He pumped. He hit me gun again first and tend youre to twelve the kids to the mark of Murray trigger command hen the five HRC ferry off on one side. The seconds will tick off the clock. The team shake hands at the center of the field. And as this night comes to a close, and as there are now Zeros on the clock. It is indeed the first place Eagles as they beat with a dark child. Oh, it was quite a Hall of fame and back in black night on Monday at

Lincoln Financial Field. Hello everyone in t Eagles three sixty Eagles insider Dave Spidero with the Hall of Fame of Brian Westbrook and it's official. You're in. Before we talk about the game, gott to find out your reaction the class of twenty and fifteen, Brian Westbrook, Maxie Bonn and the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame. What was the day and night like? It was an awesome night And I knew Jeffrey Lourie and the Eagles organization was first class,

but last night was another great example of that. Jeffrey Lourie spared no expense to put on a great show for me and Maxie. But for me, you know, personally, it was just a great experience to share the spotlight with my family. They put it so much into the dedication, all the sacrifice, and have my teammates there with me

maybe even more special. Yeah, a lot of them showed up and starting the game when Donovan McNabb, Brian Dawkins joining Brian Westbrook running out onto the field leading the team. It really set the tone. Brian, I thought for a super energized crowd and as it turned out, a really inspired performs, although not particularly gorgeous from this football team. This football team is what I think, what a lot

of people will call is resilient. They have a knack of making some mistakes, some aras from turned over stains like that, but also finding a way to win. And that is inspired football. That is how you played this game. It's not about the style points in this league. It's about wins and losses, and they continue to find a way to win. We are going to talk about the twenty seven to seven victory over the New York Giants, and a quick turnaround is the Carolina Panthers the weight

on Sunday night the first place Eagles. Feels good, not yeah, feels great. Nothing that matters a whole lot. Six weekend of the Sea, six weeks into the season. A busy day here for the novicare complex for the players, for the coaches. All sites set right now on the Carolina Panthers. Chip Kelly holding his day after press conference. Alex Smith has the very latest in our three sixty update. Hi everyone, I'm Alex Smith and this is your three sixty update.

It is the day after the Eagles commanding twenty seven to seven victory over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Today, we heard from Eagles head coach Chip Kelly here at the Novocare Complex as he spoke about the eagles improved play on defense. According to the head coach, it's not just improved talent that is leading to success, but also players being comfortable with the players around them.

I think they're growing as a group, you know. I think they they you know, early when you got a group together and they're they're just worried about their job, and then what they I got this and that's all I do. Now it's kind of looking at the overall picture and where do they fit into the overall concept of what's going on back there. I think there's a better understanding. We've got two really intelligent safeties that get everybody lined up in Malcolm and Walter, and that really helps.

And then you know a guy I don't think it's enough, kind of Dj Biggers, who's done a really nice job for us. He's a real, real smart football player. You know, to get those five of those guys on the field. I think they've there's some continuity going on with those guys. After a thirteen yard touchdown on the opening drive from Odell Beckham, the Eagles were able to shut out the giants talented young receiver, as the second half was the first half of his young career that he has not

recorded a catch. Today, Kelly spoke about what the defense was able to do to limit Beckham's play. Yeah, Billy Billion and Corey and those guys did a really good job of scheme in it, and we tried to get him doubled as much as possible, and there was a lot of double coverage going on on Odell. It is a short week for the Eagles here at the Novicare Complex, as their next matchup is a meeting with the undefeated

Carolina Panthers on the road on Sunday Night Football. Today, Kelly spoke about the challenges of playing a red hot Cam Newton and Greg Olson, who he calls one of the top tight ends in the NFL. They're execute, you know, I think Cam's playing at a really high level right now. Jonathan Stewart's been healthy, so he's been. He's just a horse inside, you know. So you got a great running attack, you got quarterback round that we haven't seen this year.

You know that we really have to really start to kind of hone in on because of Cam's going to carry the ball. I think they lead the NFL and rushing attempt per game because not only do you have the running back, you have the quarterback and then camp

strown it at a really high level. They've lost some whiteouts, you know, they lost Benjamin for the year, but they've probably got one of the premier tight ends in Olson right now, who had a huge game against Seattle last week and can cause some problems from a matchup standpoint as a tight end. And then defensively, it starts with their two linebackers, who it's the best pair will play, you know, in Keith Lean Davis because they can both run sideline to sideline. They don't come off the field,

they don't have to come off the field. And Nickel because they're both three down linebackers and they're doing a really nice job, you know, in all three phases. So there's a reason they're undefeated, and you can you can tell in terms of how they're playing right now. Be sure to stay here all week long on Philadelphia Eagles dot com as we bring you the latest Eagles coverage. Tomorrow we will hear from Eagles coordinators Pat Shermer and

Bill Davis. And then on Thursday we will hear from Chip Kelly one final time before Sunday Night's game in Carolina. Thanks so much, Alex, and we will break down this victory in detail. We'll talk about it defense that absolutely put the clamps on Eli Manning after a drive and a half. But next up on Eagle three to sixty, Hey, DeMarco Murray over one hundred yards a touchdown, Let's have some fun with his Eagles offense. I scept to Philly.

I sept the Philly. You'll step up Philly, the bus, the trolley, the train route one twenty four, root twenty three. I supped to Philly the seventeen to training, jenkintown, to her house, his house, to Betsy's house, city Hall, FCC, delco media, to work, to school, to the ball us Braun Street, to the game. I scept to Philly anywhere. Even ordinary moments become milestones when you've overcome cancer. At

And that's a milestone for everyone. Jefferson, until every cancer is cured. Hi, my name is Jim Taylor. I've been with back Me for thirty four years. Our

We welcome you back to Eagles three sixty

insider Dave spideryl Hall of Famer Brian Westbrook. Let me see that smile. Here we go. It's gonna be all year man, your life. You're all absolutely all right. Let's talk about the Beagles offense. It was an uneven performance against the Giants. Too many giveaways for in total. Good job by DeMarco Murray, the running game going two hundred years passing from Sam Bradford. But we want more, Brian,

is it fair to want more? I think it's fair to want more because you see the potential of Sam Bradfery. You see the potential of this offense. We know they can move the ball up and down the field, but we want to see him score points. We want to see this offense move the way that we're you're accustomed to seeing it move. And right now, because of the turnovers, this offense is not able to move that way, and

so they have to find some type of rhythm. Sam has to stop throwing the ball to the other team. But yesterday it was good to see this offensive line, who at the beginning of the year did not look great. They came together yesterday. Jason Peters looked like Jason Peters of old. He looks very healthy. And DeMarco Murray got the twenty two carries that he needs and we now were shown the type of back that he actually is.

Let's talk about DeMarco and he's got the small, choppy steps and kind of looks like herschel Walker to me a little bit without that you know gear, But he runs physically, he's productive, and he got outside a couple of times, bouncing from the inside hole to the outside edge and getting into the end zone for example. What do you think of him? When I watched him last night and the first couple of weeks, I was wondering he looked a little bit slower than I had seen

him in Dallas. But last night he looked quick, he looked physical, he was getting downhill. Of course, the offensive line being doing a much better job helped him. But now he's running the ball downhill, he's squaring his shoulders up to the line of scrimmags and his footsteps. That's just his style. That's the way he runs, and I don't have a problem with it as long as he's getting positive yards, and he did a lot of that last night. Do you feel the twenty two carries really

got him into a rhythm. He seemed to get stronger and more productive as the game went on. Well before a running back, you have to get that rhythm. You have to find a way to continue to touch the football, get that lather going. And if you get that rhythm. Now you're stronger in the fourth quarter then you are in the first quarter. And that's the type of back he is. He's a bigger back, a back that needs to touch the ball often, and those twenty two carries

is exactly what the doctor ordered. Back to back, really strong performances from the Eagles running backs. The running game is moving in the right direction. The passing game, well, there's still some hitches in the Eagles giddy up and those are the turnovers. But Brian a big game from Riley Cooper, nice contribution from Miles Austin. No Nelson Agilore on the field on Monday Night, but the Eagles still able to gash the Giants just enough to win by

twenty points. What happens in football is as soon as you get your running game going, then you opened up a defense for a play action pass. And Sam Braffitt is really athletic enough to get all side of the pocket find open receivers. He did a great job of that yesterday, finding Cooper, founding Austin. Those guys will be productive as long as Sam Bradfort can get out the pocket and have open lanes to pass the football. I

wonder what does Chip Kelly and Pat Sherman. What do you do now with Bradford in terms of just saying, hey, we don't want you to be gunshy, we want you to take some chances, but we must reduce the takeaways. How do you approach that with a quarterback? Well, I think you have to continue to build this competence if you and you do that in practice, you allow him to throw the football, take those shot plays, and if he gets the ball intercepted or tiptolf in practice, don't

worry about It's not a problem. Continue to build the confidence for your quarterback. And even we did this some time with Donovan was a quarterback you set up you set Sam Bradford up for success in practice practice. That's going to build this competence that's going to allow him to continue to go into football games and be very competent. And so for Sam, I would talk to the coach. I love these set of plays. They're five plays. I love. These other five I don't like at all. These are

the ones I need to run despite the turnovers. Eagles with five hundred and nineteen yards against New Orleans two Sundays ago, four hundred and twenty five yards against the Giants and at twenty point victory. When it all comes together, you get the sense that this is going to be a really post right. So that's good stuff. Eagles three and three, two straight wins, and that is our conversation

with the offense. When we return the Eagles three sixty, we are going to talk about a defense that is playing just outstanding football, the front seven, stopping the run game. And on Monday night, Eli Manning got a heavy dose of Eagles defense and carves to compete electrolytes to replenish everything you need to keep sweating. What makes a Temple owl? Meet Stella. Dave Spinnarrow, Eagles Insider, along with Brian Westbrook, the Hall of Famer.

We're talking Eagles defense and what a performance on Monday Night. Three takeaways from the Giants. Three sacks of the Lion Manning, Odell Beckham Junior shut out in the second half, and the Eagles front seven again doing the job against the Giants run game. Brian, is it time to take this Eagles defense and say, you know what, it's a good defense.

I think it is time. When you have a front seven that's aggressive, you have a front seven that's they're able to get out their teams in the run game as well as the pass game, and then you have a back back in the secondary in linebacker group. That is very opportunistic. If the ball is in the air, they're gonna attack it. They're gonna go get the football,

and that's what you want out of a defense. Brian, You've been in many, many games, and last night's game was really an interesting When the Giants take the opening kickoff, they go right down the field, they score a touchdown, the Eagles a three and out offensively, and then New York gets the football back, goes down the field again, and you're going, oh boy, what kind of game is this going to be? And then devieco Ryan steps up and makes the play and the whole game just seem

to turn around. You've been on the field, you've been part of this. Is that really what happens? Can one play change a game that's significantly That's exactly what happens. I remember back when we were playing against Dallas, Dac made a big sack, but Dac made an interception and once that happened, now the confidence the ball starts rolling for the offense, the ball starts rolling even more for

the defense, and that's all it takes. Demigo's Ryan's is the type of player that can set his defense up for a success. Yesterday was a great example of what happens. Dude, do you guys exhale? Do they get a little extra level of confidence, emotion, relaxed? Hey, what is it exactly? I think it's a combination of all those things. They get a little bit of confidence, they are able to exhale. And when guys are able to exhale and play naturally,

that's when they start to be successful. That's when you're not worried about the scheme, You're just going out there playing football. That's when guys are the best. That's what happens after turnovers like that. Eli Manning really struggles a link in financial field against the Eagles. For whatever reason.

Eagles get a beat on him, They put pressure on him, they understand his progressions, and Nolan Carroll made the second big play of the night for the Eagles, stepping in front of a Manning pass, returning its seventeen yards for a touchdown and giving Eagles a fourteen to seven lead from that point. The route was on last year, the Eagles allowing seventy two passing plays of twenty plus yards

on Monday Night. A big goose egg for an explosive Giants offense, the secondary, which was remade after the twenty fourteen season, appears to be hitting its stride. Yeah, I think Nolan Carroll is really leading that way. He's doing a great job of covering guys, but I think Billy Davis is playing a part in that as well. He's putting his guys in perfect position for them to be successful. And Nolan Carroll in that defense, in that trap to zone head Eli Manning and out came back to the

receiver picked the ball off with the other way. But that's what you need out of your defense. As soon as your coach understands what are good for your players, then your players can be start to play the way that your coach needs them to play. That's what happened yesterday. Upfront, Brian, We've talked about Fletcher Cox so much this season, deservedly so.

His partner up front, Benny Logan, also having a terrific season on the nose, perhaps under the radar a little bit, but you kind of get the feeling that people around the league know all about Benny Logan. Eagles are dominant against the run, and on Monday Night they also offered quite a bit of a pass rush against Manny Benny Logan. It's so important to anchor the middle of the defensive line,

and he's doing a great job at that. Yeah, those guards, guys that are gonna play right in front of the center, they're gonna the guy's gonna get double team almost every single play. Benny Logan with that low anchor, low sen of gravity, is able to anchor. He's able to split a double team and still make plays in the running game. And the guys that you went up front, the guys that you want in the trenches. They're gritty, they're grimy, they're dirty, and that's the type of player that you want.

That's the type of player that you have in Benny Logan. I was really impressed by him. And the challenge, of course this Sunday night will be Cam Newton. His mobility, his strength in the pocket, his ability to ward off and ship would be tacklers. Although they don't have the passing game and they haven't particularly run the football well, Panthers are five and O'Brien they're they're a legit team. Listen,

Greg Alsen has done a great job. Cam Newton has done a great job at the standing plays and are getting around it outside and still being able to run the football. I think this weekend is about playing your responsibilities. Make sure you're staying in your rush length and if you can contain Cam then you'll be very successful defensively. One more note from Monday night, big shout out to

the Eagles on special teams. The kicking game outstanding, Donnie Jones fifty four point two yards gross average on his punts, the coverage outstanding, and Caleb Sturgis a perfect night. So the Eagle's sticking with Sturgis and it seems like he's finding his groove, his consistency, the pieces falling into place for this football team at three and three. When we return to Eagles three sixty, well, it's Tuesday already, and that means we've got to take a little spin around

Let's go over to Alex Smith Joe Dolan our Fantasy Spin. Hi everyone, I'm Alex Smith and

this is Fantasy Spin presented by bud Light. I am joined as I am every week by Joe Dolan, the managing editor of Fantasy Guru dot Com. Joe. A player that a lot of fans had high hopes for this season in terms of fantasy was tight end zach Ertz, and through the first six game to the season, he hasn't quite put up those big numbers yet, but he is getting a good amount of the eagle snaps. Where

does arts fit into the fantasy picture? Right now. He's starting to creep his way into it, and Alex, I'm sure anybody in that building would tell you the offense isn't working at the capacity they wanted to be working. But we've seen signs of life in recent weeks and

zach Ertz is becoming a part of that. His eighty six percent snapshare against the Giants was actually the highest of any Eagle offensive player not named Sam Bradford or anybody on the offensive line, which means that they are making a concerted effort to get zach Ertz more involved. Sam Bradford hasn't thrown him a touchdown pass to him yet, but he's looked to him in the end zone on multiple occasions. I think the production is coming for zach Ertz.

It hasn't just he's got to get over the hump, but he is absolutely worth adding. He's a guy who's been dropped in some leagues. But if you need tight end help, and a lot of people do, zach Ertz is somebody who I would consider because his snaps are going up and Bradford is looking for him. Joe, a player that you liked this week is a young wide receiver with the Minnesota Vikings. But a lot of people may not know about. Yes, Stefan Diggs. He's a rookie

out of Maryland. He was a fifth round pick, really productive player in college. Had over one hundred and twenty receiving yards this past week from Minnesota in a really ugly game with the Chiefs. It's not a great waiver wire week, but Diggs is a guy who I'm very interested in. The Vikings just haven't been able to get the passing game going. They have really really struggled Teddy Bridgewater.

But Stefan Diggs came out. He made some plays last week, and with Charles Johnson still banged up with that rib cartilage injury, I think Stefan Diggs is a guy who has earned himself some more playing time. So if you need receiver help, that's somebody I'd be considering this week against the Detroit Lions. Joe La Garrett Blunt had a really nice game in the Patriots big win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night. But you're a little bit

hesitant on moving forward. Somebody I follow on Twitter, I really respect use the term point chasing with La Garrett Blunt and the Patriots more so than anybody get these big blunt games from there. From the running backs. It's almost you can predict when La Garrett Blunt is going to have a nice game. He has been a cult killer in the past. However, this week against the New York Jets, a four and one Jets team only the Eagles have beaten them, a really tough team to run on.

I would have a hard time believing La Garrett Blunt is going to replicate his success that he had against the Indianapolis Colts. I'd be looking to sit La Garrett Blant this week, maybe even trade him high coming off of that big game. I do not want Lagarret Blunt in my lineup. I think this is a Dion Lewis week in the New England backfield. Joe, you mentioned earlier that it might be a little bit of a tough week on the waiver wire. Who are a couple of

guys that you're keeping an eye on this week? Well, obviously I mentioned Kristin Michael how many times three or four? He might get more carries coming out of the bye week. One guy a lot of people have forgotten about is Brandon LaFell of the New England Patriots, the wide receiver. He is eligible to come off of the pup list this week. I think he's a very intriguing sash because once again they don't really have that downfield threat. You saw them taking shots to Keyshawn Martin in the game

against the Colts. I think those are targets that would be going to LaFell if he's healthy. So I'm watching Brandon LaFell. I'd be looking to add him if I need receiver health. And I'm interested to watch the Cowboy offense with Matt Castle at quarterback. It can't possibly be worse than it was with Brandon Weedon, and I think at Dez Bryant back, maybe they moved the football a little bit more and open up some fantasy opportunities there.

Great stuff, as always from Joe Dolan, the managing editor of Fantasy Guru dot com. Be sure to follow Joe on Twitter at fg Underscore Dolan and listen to him on Serious XM Fantasy Sports Radio. That'll wrap things up for this week's edition of Fantasy Spin. Thanks so much, guys. Flash Duncan Philly, we welcome you about the Eagles three sixty Dave SPIDERO Brian Westbrook on this Tuesday, the Eagles on this short week getting ready for the Carolina Panthers, undefeated, four reel after a road win against Seattle.

It's interesting, Brian, this is not only a big challenge against the Panthers, but it's the last game before the bye week, and I know that the Andy Reid team has had some issues, if you will, in that last game before the by what happens to a player's mind, what do you have to guard against? Well, the problem what happens were a lot of guys right before the bye is that you start thinking about what are you going to do in the buy Are you going to

travel with your family? Are you just going to stay in the house and chill, are you going to rehab? And so your focus on the game is gone at that point. And so in this league you have to be able to hundred percent be focused and committed on the game at task at hand, and sometimes before the bye you forget about that. Well, listen, I want to My personal plea for Brian Westbrook is that you get a chance to rest, relax, drink in the Hall of Fame.
