High Eagles fans. I'm Alex Smith back here at the Novicare Complex and this is your three sixty update. We are one day closer to the all important third preseason game, as the Eagles get set to head out to Indianapolis on Friday for Saturday nights preseason matchup with the Colts. Today we heard from head coach Doug Peterson, who offered an injury update, and while many of the names on the list will sound familiar, there's one very notable exception
to the Eagles starting lineup for Saturday Night. Give you an injury report real quick on who's on who's out for this game? Okay, who's who's out? So obviously Aaron Grimes, Jordan Matthews, Alex McCalister, Hunter Sharp, Joe Walker Carson is out he will travel, and then Mike Martin is out as well. And then the newest one on the list is Isaac will be out for this game. He has a strained a peck muscle that is day to day and so we feel best best for his interest to
to keep him out of this football game. So without the rookie Seamalu in the lineup on Saturday Night, that means we will see veterans Stephan Wisnewski get bumped up into that starting spot at left guard. We caught up with starting center Jason Kelsey inside the locker room and he expects big things from Wisnewski on Saturday night. He'll have the knowledge down. I mean, he's a very smart guy,
knows his assignments and everything like that. In terms of his technique or the difference between right and left, you have to ask him some guys that makes it a difference to some guys that doesn't bother at all. So with a guy that has played center for the majority of his career where he's had to do the right side and left side stagger, playing in the in the middle of the defense, I don't anticipate it but bothering
him that much. Sticking on the offensive side of the football for the Eagles, we heard from head coach Doug Peterson as well as from wide receiver Doriel Greenbeckham himself to hear about just how much we will see the newest wide receiver on the Eagles roster on Saturday night in Indianapolis. Yeah, he's looking good, you know. Again, it's the terminologies a little bit different. You know, we're not moving him around, so he's lining up in one spot,
one position, which is good for him right now. M but he but he's playing fast and that's that's what we ask him to do. And he's being decisive with his routes um and and then you know, obviously leaving the block. He's such a big, big body that they're just covering guys up in the run game be a big benefit for us as well. It's kind of similar, like I mean, like no one where to line up and stuff like that. It's real similar to what I was doing in Tennessee. I mean, and plays like playing
an X position. I mean, like I'm only looking at one position as right now, Jess, I get a feel of, like, you know, trying to figure out concepts noring like what disease doing with the X thing, you know, Jess, I know, like both both sides, but as right now, I'm just trying to focus on what I supposed to do right now to have my teammates one and finally, let's check
in on the other side of the ball. For the Eagles, we caught up with defensive and Stephen means inside the locker room, who's been wreaking havoc in the first two preseason games against Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh, and Means he's really just trying to do anything that he can to make his way under this fifty three man roster. No,
I don't feel like it's open for me. Uh but like I said, you know, everything can take care of yourself, and I want to just keep I'm gonna keep hitting the door and keep you know, trying to knock the hinges off. Let's continueing to glorify guy. I want to I want to keep keep showing teams. I'm a Tenace's past or, I said, physical age setter and just you know,
a foursome special team. You can hear more from Means and Dorielle Greenbeckham as well as all of our other locker rooms sound right here on Philadelphia Eagles dot com and with her three sixty update. I'm Alex Smith
