Well, when everyone looks back at the Eagles twenty and sixteen draft, they'll point to that first selection of Carson Wentz being chosen with the second overall pick, But really the draft and its entirety found a way to play an impact role this season for the Eagles, and inside the locker room we caught up with not just Carson Wentz, but with players like Jalen Mills and Wendell Smallwood who all
made an impact here in twenty sixteen. I think it's very big, you know what I mean, I ricky class, we did we did well, you know what I mean. We have a lot to grow on. We have a lot of things that will get better on. But for sure, you know, as a young group, I mean, I think the more we progress, you though, um, the young guys, the better team is gonna get for sure. I think it's just it's just great, a great thing kind of the young the young guys, and it kind of shows
you the future a little bit. And like we met with we met with all the all the coaches and they believe this class was a great class and kind of it's showing our step and what we want to be and what this team wants to develop into. So I think young guys coming in contributorarily kind of gives you hope a little bit. You know. You just gotta take things and stride and improved day to day and
nothing real different, I guess in terms of preparation. You know, Sundays are different, but Monday through you know, the other six days is the same for me. Just work my butt off, keep my head down, and then have fun on game days. Yeah, I mean, this is our first year here and you know, together and you know, we're all doing the same thing, hitting the wall and everything. Where like things a long season, well, you know, we have each other and we're like, hey, we can we
can do this, let's finish. Let's finished. Wrong. I did feel like it was long season, but like like they said, I did feel it went very fast. It's kind of crazy that it's over now, you know. But I never
really experienced that wall. As a matter of fact. Later in the year that got us finally getting in the swing of things, finally getting used to that routine, and so I never really felt that too much at Also, I'm thankful for that only time will tell how successful this draft class can be, but the Eagles twenty sixteen class certainly made an impact in their first season.
