Hi everyone, I'm Alex Smith here with your three sixty update. Well, Doug Peterson's first season as the Eagles head coach has officially come to an end, as the Eagles finished the year with a seven and nine record, and after starting off three and oh. The Eagles had a little bit of trouble in the middle of the season, but finished out strong with two wins, and as coach Peterson heads into his second year as an NFL head coach, the players inside the locker room are extremely confident in their

head coach. I mean he's a players coach, you know. I mean, he's a guy who played the game. You know, we had some even during camp. I can go back to the camp and I mean, what guys are really just out there grinding and busting our tails. And the Knicks practice was kind of dragged, and he kind of laid off us on that very Knicks practice because he knew, you know, guys were putting on the line and he kind of knows like recovery is a big thing, and I mean far as sleep and time off. So I

mean he's a players coach for sure. Yeah, I feel great about him. I think, you know, I think all the guys feel great about him. I think they showed up by the way we've played. Um, when you guys have seen every game, you know, this team hasn't given up one time in any game. Um. You know, we had a lot of fighting us the entire year, even when things weren't going the right way. So I think that's the sign of a good coaching and good leadership. Yeah,

I thought it was similar. You know. I thought this play calling in his approach was was very similar. One thing I was appreciated with with coach Peterson was like he valued my input, you know, even for as a rookie. He valued, you know what, my opinion on things. And UM, I thought that was awesome. You know, I thought that was awesome for me. Um. And you know, I thought

he did a good job this year. For me, it was just fun just sitting back and watching that development him as a head coaching, just seeing what his personality was gonna be like, what his philosophy would be like, and if he'd be consistent for you know, the entire season when we hit some university and Doug has been the same person, you know, all year, every day. You know, his he never panic, never, never once got you know, too higher, too low, And I think that's the it

kind of carried out through our team. We were able to stick together, obviously through a couple of tough times and you know, keep fighting all right. Well, that will wrap things up here from the novicare complex, but for complete coverage on all of the latest Eagles news, stay right here on Philadelphia Eagles dot com and the official Eagles mobile app.
