Hi everyone, I'm Alex Smith with your three sixty update The Eagle for back at practice here at the Novacare Complex as they get set for Saturday's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Today we heard from head coach Doug Peterson, who confirmed the addition of veteran linebacker Steven Tullock, and according to Peterson, Tullok's familiarity with Jim Schwartz will only help this defense moving forward. Obviously he's familiar with with

Coach Schwartz's defense. Um, at the same time, he's coming in to compete for that linebacker spot there in the middle, and it's just unfortunate with the loss of you know, with Joe right now, we just need depth to fill that spot. So, um, we just got to see where he's at, what is what is uh, what his health is when he gets here, you know, physical, all that stuff that we do with players and uh and then

and then slowly work him in. So the big question now is where exactly does Tullock fit into this scheme. Will he be a reserve at inside linebacker or could he perhaps move to one of the two outside linebacking spots. We caught up with linebacker Jordan Hicks inside the locker room to get his thoughts on where Tulluck might fit.

I'm excited. I think I want this team to be as good as we possibly can, and I think adding, you know, another veteran presence and another linebacker to our core and having that type of depth and being able to move around and have another aspect to it will help a lot. Another big question with the Eagles linebacking corps revolves around Michael Kendricks, who has had to miss some time, including the last two preseason games while he's

dealing with the hamstring injury. We caught up with Kendricks today to discuss how he's feeling heading into the third preseason game. Yeah, it's a game of football, man. Everyone's injured out there, everyone's hurt. It's just a matter of getting out there and and just being fortunate enough to stay healthy. It seems like every year I got something wrong, but that's just the nature of the game and someone who's experienced it, it's just something that you deal with.

You you work through, and you keep keep chugging on. It is preseason, but I do want to the competitor. Enemy wants to be out there. I mean, is there a you know, emphasis on this game. But I want to be out there, you know, so we'll see. So while we wait and see whether or not Kendricks will be full go heading into Saturday night, one other injury

update here from the Novacare Complex. Kicker Caleb Surgis, who suffered a concussion during warmups of the Pittsburgh game, says he has been cleared and is feeling comfortable heading into Saturday night's game.
