Police confirmed this week that a body pulled from the Mohawk River at the end of February was Samantha Humphrey, a teen who had been missing for three months. Her case dominated headlines since the end of November. This week marks 25 years since 19-year-old Suzanne Lyall disappeared from the University at Albany campus. Her mother is now publishing a book of her daughter’s poems. Jaliek Rainwalker was only 12 years old when he vanished from Washington County more than 15 years ago.
