Episode description

A federal judge sentenced Allison Mack to three years in prison this week for her role supplying sex "slaves" to NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. Times Union reporter Rob Gavin and Eagle host Jessica Marshall traveled to Brooklyn for the hearing, where one of Mack's victims compared her to Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged enabler of late sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein. On this episode of The Eagle, Gavin and Marshall they discuss what went on inside—and outside—the courtroom.  Also on this episode, reporter Wendy Liberatore has the latest on a controversial Saratoga Springs meeting, during which city officials blamed the social justice movement and "gang members" from Albany for a recent uptick in violence downtown.  Learn more about your ad choices.
