Episode description

Former Durham Bulls outfielder and major league superstar Andruw Jones joins Patrick Kinas on THE Durham Bulls Podcast to talk about his storied career.

Jones tells the story of his signing out of Curacao, his relationship with Willie Mays, his major league call-up as a 19yo, the motivation behind not being invited to major league camp in 1996 after he was named Minor League Player of the Year, and his return to Durham Bulls Athletic Park after 28 years.

Jones also admits who his toughest pitcher was to face, his must-watch MLB players during his era, and from whom he had to borrow clothes after his first day in the major leagues.
