This year’s International Women’s Day is celebrated under the theme “Each for Equal”, In this this our special IWD episode we talk with Trishana McGowan. Trishana is a sports reporter and producer at the RJRGleaner Group. She talks about her time as an athlete and experiences as a sport journalist. She discusses her career as a 400m hurdler and her decision to leave the sport. She also shares how her transition into sport journalism and her growth as a reporter and producer. 

Trishana also discussed:
