Kyokushin lightweight women’s Champion & Dr. Kimm Carriere (as of Thursday!) Kimm Carriere is one of Canada’s most accomplished female martial artists in Kyokushin under ShinKyokushin. Kimm discusses how she discovered Kyokushin style Karate under Shihan John. The conversation not only covers martial arts but mental health as mental illness has spiked during the second lockdown. Kimm expresses her thoughts on the current mental health crisis and the lack of preventative measures put in place to help ease the burden of unemployment and isolation.
