I'm MIKEA. Are you there, MIKEA, are you there? Yes? Hey, Michael, congratulations you're the newest Dallas Cowboy. We're here with the Draft show. What are you? What's going through your head right now? And a lot is going through my head? But now, you know, I'm feeling a blessed. I'm feeling extremely grateful and I'm feeling ecstatic to be a part
of the Cowboys. Hey, Mica, congrats. Man. I'm curious. I mean, you just said it, but you know, and people are talking about it on Twitter going all the way back to December. You know, you tweeted out that you wanted to be here? What what was it about the Cowboys? What was it about Dallas that that you felt that way? And I mean it's got to feel wild that something you've wanted for so long actually happened. With everything that
happened in the first round. Um, you know, uh, people don't realize, like you know, I think, you know, just being in America then playing at playing for you know, the best team in America. You know, uh, you know, playing at atenc Stay then when I did, I fell in love with it. I knew who Jay Jones is. I know when he represents he's a serious man once to win games. And you know, I knew what I was stepping into, and I wanted to be in blue
and white again. And I said, the place where I feel like they got there are a couple of pieces away from being a really good team was the Cowboys. And you know this is where I wanted to do. So we've obviously watched a lot of your tape and studied you leading up to the draft. But for all those Cowboys fans out there listening, tell us a little bit about your game. You know, your demeanor on the
field a linebacker. You know my de bean on the linebacker is, you know, play physical, play fast, and make a lot of tackles. I like to fly to the ball. I think the best thing anybody can ever do is play with effort. And when you play with effort, a lot of great things happened around the ball. So that's kind of how you're gonna get me. You're gonna get a competitor. I'm never gonna go down easy, never gonna
go down sweet, and I'm gonna come into regul to place. Now, you mentioned some of those pieces on the defensive side of the football, Mica, where do you feel like you're gonna fit in with this defense? Do you think there's a specific spot for you as you come in and get to get to work. Yeah, I mean I could play anywhere on the field. I think I'm gonna use my versatility early on to find out how they want to use me, and you know, take my opportunity and
run away with it. You know, I think I'm here just based off our opportunities my whole life, and this is another great chance for me to take advantage of one. Kind of going off that, Micael, You know, we haven't really had a chance to talk to your new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, but watching your tape, you know you can't help. But notice, like you said, your versatility you can get after the quarterback. You can. You know you had a big strip sack here at at and T
Stadium a couple of years ago. Have you talked to Dan Quinn about how he wants to use you or what your role could be when you get here now? Yet? Like I said, I talked to the cowboys one time. I guess that one time was the best time the cowboy that's how to get to work. Well, we're excited to have you here and to see you get to work. Mica. Congratulations, we will see you soon and Aliston, hopefully sooner rather than later. We'll get to shake your hand whenever all
this COVID nineteen is over. How about that? Yes, sir, sounds of amazing. Michael Parsons on the phone. Appreciate your time and well, of course he is the newest Dallas cowboy, and you know it is intriguing and like you said, it never gets old hearing from these prospects as their dreams are realized. And like you said, his last collegiate game the Cotton Bowl against Memphis close to New Year's in twenty nineteen. That was his last time on a
collegiate football field. Guess where it was? Stadium baby,
