You suffer from brain fog, right? You walk into a room, what the heck am I even doing in here? Or even worse yet, this one's the most embarrassing. You're in the middle of a conversation and you go, where was I going with this? What what was I just saying? Or maybe this is the most embarrassing. What is his or her name again? That's a sign of brain fog.

But there is another level of brain fog where you feel like you can't even read anything anymore and remember it and just read it over and over again. And it's just this feeling of just that you're literally in a fog, that you just can't think through it. So it's not just where the heck are my keys, but I just feel like I can't think anymore. Yeah, and it's a horrible feeling. I had it when I was sick, but today that was way back in 1999, 2000, 2001, too.

That was when I had neurotoxic illness, which was the driving factor of my brain not working. I'll tell you more about that. Most people today are complaining about brain fog. I'm gonna tell you what I think you can do. Besides, look, I'm known for my cellular detox. I'm known for my brain phase, as it's called, where certain toxins build up in our brain, drive inflammation. It causes brain fog, but typically it causes more than that.

It causes other symptoms like debilitating anxiety, sleep problems where you can't get to sleep, you wake up middle of night, can't get back to sleep, and it starts to affect even your gut brain. That's the second brain. So you have gut trouble, neurotoxic illness where your brain is toxic, it leads to all of those problems. And some other weird feelings like anxiety, a type of anxiety that is not just worry anxiety, although you do worry more.

I would describe it to my wife if I'd wake up in the middle of the night, is I just feel like I wouldn't want to cry. And that's not very manly to say that, but that's the feeling I would have. It was not your normal anxiety, even a feeling of dread. Most people today have some level of what I just described, and we were called brain fog. Number one, you've heard about lion's mane. Big fan for the brain. I think the longer you're on lion's mane, the better it works.

Lion's mane absolutely causes something called neurogenesis, where you can literally make new nerves. It helps something called neuroplasty, which means we can rewire our brain around bad parts of our brain. Lion's mane has been proven to do all of those things. So, and also even regenerate nerves peripherally, meaning other places besides the brain. But look, when you look at the study, there's real science around lion's mane and how it works for cognition, meaning how good your brain works.

Most people, when they take lion's mane, you want to do a little more in the beginning. Probably if you bag, I think this is the best way to buy it in the powders. Buy it organic and buy the bag of powder, you can put it in a shake or just in water. Doesn't taste great, but it doesn't taste horrible. But double the dose, um, and typically you're going to get a faster result. I think after about five to seven days is when most people go, I feel like my brain's turning on.

Yeah, so it's not like one of those things you take one dose of and go, oh, I feel better. No. And then long term, you want to stay on it for at least three months. I mean, before you bail and say it's not working, but I think it will because that neurogenesis that takes place does take some time. So lion's mane absolutely works, but you want to take good high doses. After two weeks, you could go down to the regular dose, would be my suggestion, but then still giving it at least three months.

And if after three months you have no change at all, bail. Most things I would say you would notice a difference in a month, but with lion's mane, give it a little more time. Does ashawanda work? Because a lot of people are taking it. Look, I think no matter what, ashawanda is a good thing for many people because we have so much stress in our life and it is a de-stressor, it helps you adapt to stress. That's why they call it an adaptogen.

And yes, there's some studies that show that it is absolutely wonders for the brain. Probably will notice a faster response within a few days if it's going to work. But I would tell you to stay on that one for at least a month to give it some try. But look, it's gonna help your adrenals. And if you help your adrenals, you help your cortisol. So indirectly, it's also going to help your brain, how you feel.

It could help with anxiety, and it could even help with energy, and it could even help with weight loss. So Ashuanda is a good one. Many of you asked about that. Okay, here's the one that I think most of you probably haven't heard of is creatine, the bodybuilder supplement, putting on muscle. Well, yeah, it's used for that. Oh, and back in this uh the 80s, I think it was 80s and 90s, they were like, oh, creatine monohydrate is hard on the kidneys.

That was kind of one bad study, so not doesn't really hold up. So don't worry about that. But here's the thing: as we age, or not we as I'm a woman, as we as humans age, and ladies, this is more for you, we actually need more creatine. Creatine helps us hold on to muscle, and that's why it's more important as we age. The more muscle you have, now, ladies, I'm not talking about looking like a man, I'm talking about muscle that helps us keep our figure.

I'm talking about muscle that helps us keep our metabolism so we stay lean as we age. Listen, this is a United States thing. This isn't something you see in Europe, but as we age, it's like almost acceptable in the US to get fat. Or, oh, I'm just 60 now and that's why I'm not as fit as I was. That's BS. I'm 60. I have the same amount of body fat as I did when I was in high school. So that should be the goal. I don't think we should get fatter as we age.

That is absolutely due to our bad hormones, bad health, and certain toxins that build up in our tissues that cause our cells not to hear our hormones. And if the cells can't hear your hormones, it doesn't matter if you take them. It's called hormone resistance, closed door syndrome. And what happens then is that yes, you gain weight, can't lose it, you lose energy, you have more brain fog.

Okay. So, you know, absolute toxins accumulating drives inflammation of the cell, keeps our cells from hearing hormones, and yes, brain fog, anxiety, no energy, all part of that, weight loss resistance, all part of that. Be clear, toxins are a big part of this issue. But creatine, we the more muscle we have, the more mitochondria we have. Therefore, that's where you make energy. Therefore, the more muscle you have, the more energy you have.

The more mitochondria, the more muscle you have, the more mitochondria you have, the more places you have to burn fat. So it's easier to stay leaner because the more muscle, the higher the metabolism. Get away with more. Oh, and by the way, as you age, you need muscle more because it prevents injuries. So people that start to age to get more and more injuries, not good. You need more muscle. Also, creatine helps your ligaments and tendons, which protect our joints.

But here's what I want you to hear. I haven't said one word about the brain. Creatine related to the brain, yeah. New studies are showing that it is one of the best things that we can take for brain health. That's right. Now, here's the catch. There's a catch. You need a lot. So, ladies, here's some of you are thinking this. I tried taking creatine, the amounts they said to double or triple the dose, so that could be like 10 to 15 grams a day.

I tried that and for my brain, but I started gaining weight, which is water weight, so you don't gain fat, but water weight. And some people, it can cause water retention. Now, there is a solution. I learned this from JJ Virgin, and I interviewed her on my podcast. Here's what she taught me. Matter of fact, she has a creatine because of this. Creatine HCL, ladies, she calls it Shiotine, and I'm not selling it. Find it online. Great product.

There's some other things in there like glycine that help hold muscle, which is really good. But the reason she targeted women is because women have this problem more than men. But they to have the levels that help our brain, well, you have to take higher levels. But the HCL, you don't have to take as high of levels, and therefore, ladies, you don't get the water attention.

So you can take somewhere around three grams as opposed to 10 or 15 grams, or maybe even up to six grams, and that's what you need for the brain. HCl is more absorbable, it's easily utilized by the body. HCl creatine, better than the creatine monohydrate, especially for women. You can try JJ's product. As I mentioned, I I do like it, but you in fact do need the higher levels for the brain. Okay, so there's some of the product things.

I said it up front because I think people want some of those quick things that they can do right now. Okay, I I gave you some. You know, another one that I will say, and this one you won't hear a lot about either, but it's something called phosphatidled choline, PC oil, phosphatidled choline abbreviated PC oil. There's a company called Body Bio. You find it online, but Body Bio sells it.

And the reason I think it is important to get a very good one is because it's a very important fat, 70% omega-6, so it can go rancid very easily, but it's the fat that makes up our cell membrane, so it's going to help hormone health, but it's also a fat that's critical for brain function. So I'm a big fan of phosphatidyl choline. Um, my youngest son was getting some weird anxiety after he lost the weight. He needed to detox, he is currently detoxing to get rid of the toxic.

When you lose a lot of weight fast, you can actually become more toxic. Another video. But, anyways, he added, I told him to add the PC oil in. He did, and it was miraculous for him. He also added lion's meat in. So, but the PC oil, you know, you start out and they sell it in an oil because I think starting out with a teaspoon a day, uh, starting out with a lot really makes a difference fat uh faster, and then you can drop the dose.

They do sell pills, doesn't taste great, but it doesn't taste bad either. But I would get the PC oil. They also have um the PC oil in a four to one ratio, which is a ratio that targets the brain uh and your cell membranes, and that's the benefit of fasting for the brain. I I would say fasting for anti-aging. Something happens, and I've done some whole episodes just on fasting, so find them. But fasting is unique in that you get something called autophagy.

And what that means is that you eat your body for energy will eat bad cells. They're called senescent cells. These are cells that live too long, these are cells that age you prematurely, and these are cells that make your brain age prematurely and even drive inflammation in the brain, so you can see where I'm going with this. Fasting, and I'll talk about different types in a minute, but fasting, your body eats those bad cells.

Oh, but here's the best part it stimulates a stem cell and replaces it with a brand new cell. So literally, you're getting rid of the bad and making new. Sounds really good. And the brain, it can regenerate, although in the past they thought it couldn't. No, it does, but we have to get rid of these old cells and then bring in the new. So I know intermittent fasting is very popular, and I'm I'm a fan as long as you feast. Okay, I've done other videos on that too.

So the feast is as important as fast. Meaning, if you're intermittent fasting, you don't want to eat one meal every day. You want to mix that up where you eat two meals some days and even two or three days a week, or one to three days a week, I would say. You want to eat three meals. I call that the feast days. And then you could have a day or two that you just eat one meal. It's feast, famine cycling.

And I teach it as a way to break through weight loss resistance, as a way to hormonally optimize, to break through weight loss resistance as a way to increase your cellular energy and your brain energy. So many people are intermittent fasting, but they're not feasting, they're not mixing it up. Feast, famine cycling.

And in the episode that I did on that, or the piece on YouTube that I did on that, I talked about how to do that, what that would look like, and why it would be different for people who have thyroid conditions, adrenal conditions, find it. But I go through all that and I even offer a guide to help people through that because I have my 421 diet, 511, uh, 331. So there's many different diets uh and strategies to feast famine cycling.

But what it does is it actually creates more diversity in the microbiome and actually creates a hormone optimization because of it. So it works and it works to break through. But many people today, to my point, are intermittent fasting incorrectly without feast days. That is absolutely a mistake. But I'm all for it. We want days where maybe you do just eat one meal, and yes, you do get some of this autophagy while intermittent fasting, but just remember to do it correctly and use feast days.

But here's where you really get the benefit to your brain. Five-day fast. I didn't say three, I said five, and there's a reason for that because when you do a five-day fast, you hit what we call max autophagy. You know what that means? That means we're getting rid of a lot of these senescent cells, maximum amount that your body could possibly eat these things. Well, it takes about four days for most people to hit max autophagy. That's why I like going for at least five.

In five days, even people underweight uh can do five-day fasts, and of course, people overweight, but fact is, is it gives us that max autophagy when we five-day fast. So, what does that look like? Could you do five days of just water? Yes, it's my favorite fast. I do it all the time. Make sure you take some sea salt electrolytes because you'll have a lot of energy loss those first three days until you break in to maxitophagy. Point is electrolytes help that. Okay, water fasting, I love it.

But most of you hearing my voice right now are not ready for that. Fasting is a stress. And if you have a lot of metabolic challenge already, a full water fast would not be appropriate for you. I would recommend what we call partial fast. Let me describe it. And in the episode that I did, uh the piece on YouTube that I did, I talked more about this in detail.

But partial fasts are getting your calories under a thousand a day, so that's total calories for the day, and your protein, that's important, under 20 grams a day. If you're small, 15. And you'll still go into autophagy. I would argue that for most people that aren't used to fasting, you'll actually get more autophagy out of the partial fast than you would a water fast that you don't adapt to because fasting is a stress.

So that five-day partial fast, and by the way, you you can build around the foods, but you have to stay within those parameters I get. And you'll say, What about carbs? You mentioned protein, you mentioned uh um calories, but you didn't mention carbs or fat. Well, the fact is, is that carbs and fat, you will start to add up calories, and you can only do a thousand or under. So too fast if you eat too high of fat, and if you eat too many um carbs, it'll also throw you off.

But okay, so carbs, but I'll give you a number. You want to stay under 50 grams of carbs a day, and that's um a typical number. So there's how you fast. Some people do choose to do it every month and do that for four or five months in a row, you'll have noticeable change in your brain. Here's the good news you're going to anti-age, your metabolism is going to change.

Yes, you're gonna lose weight at lasts, yes, your digestion is going to get better, your hormones are gonna get better, your eyes are gonna get more clear, your hair is going to get better. But here's one more piece of advice the feast is as important as the fast. So pick another five days of the month, it could be two weeks away, and feast. That means you could do high protein. Ladies, that's what I would suggest for you. So I would try to do one gram of protein per lean pound of body weight.

So, in other words, you might weigh 140 pounds, but let's say what was your high school weight or what was your lean weight? 120, we'll say 125. So try to get at least that much in protein a day. And you might need a protein source, clean, grass-fed protein source, some collagen, whatever, but you need to get that number. I would do that for five days, that high protein. And that could be eating more meals. That could be obsolete eating grass-fed protein sources, things like that.

But, anyways, the feast and the famine is what we want, even on a five-day fast. If you're intermittent fasting, feast famine. If you're doing a longer fast, you still need to feast the same amount of days as you fast. That's just a general rule. There's how you get your brain working again. Those are the tips. Listen, I mentioned you can find it out online, the POMPA program, but my brain phase, some of you I said are neurotoxic, and that's why your brain's not working.

I mentioned the symptoms like deeper levels of fatigue, can't make it through a day, more anxiety, more sleep problems, major gut issues. You know, that can be a sign of something called neurotoxicity, and that is what you would need. My brain, my cellular detox for uh not here promoting that, but you can find it out there because I do a lot of stuff. That's what I'm known for. 20 years of teaching doctors how to get toxins out of the brain.

And by the way, I did a detox, a cleanse, and oh, how long? Yeah, three months, two months, a week. Yeah, not so simple. Toxins in the brain, you know when they start accumulating in utero, from the womb to the tomb, and they accumulate. They're called persistent toxins in the scientific literature. And when they accumulate in the brain, yeah, bad stuff happens like inflammation. Yep, that can lead to neurodegenerative conditions, uh, things like uh dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS.

I mean, so many different neurodegenerative conditions today, but the most common massive brain fog with massive anxiety and sleep problems, most likely due to neurotoxins that accumulated in the brain. And by the way, there's a place in the brain called the pituitary hypothalamus. You know what it controls? Your thyroid, your adrenals in the majority of hormones in your body. You know how I knew I was sick? Because all of those things weren't working right.

I chased my adrenals, thinking I'm just not adapted stress. It must be just burnout. You know, it was burnout alright, but not the upstream problem. Some things got better for my uh me addressing my adrenals, but I wasn't better. Thyroid, yeah, hair was thinning, skin was dry, every thyroid, no energy, started getting skinny fat, every thyroid symptom. Address my thyroid, still not better. I realized it was the control tower. Toxins were building up in my brain, in particular mercury.

Fact is, you can't just sit in a sauna, you can't do IVs, you can't take Corella and get rid of it. God showed me everything that I've taught and still teach, 20 years now teaching practitioners and now the public even how to get that stuff out of your brain. Mercury's just one of them. Now, today we're being inundated with aluminum. There's other neurotoxins, other heavy metals, mold illness. I can go on and on.

I know that I know that I know that from pain I suffered through what I was suffered through to learn what I teach today. So, from pain to purpose, find it online. You can even find it on the Pompa program. And I think I did a teaching there. If you go to pompaprogram.com, I did. I did a free teaching on there. You can watch that for more information there. But share this video. I gave you the tips to start right now.
