The CDC claims that as many as 1 in 68 children are on the autism spectrum. But that might not mean what you think it means. If you don't have much personal experience with someone on the spectrum (or even if you do), you might not understand what autism is, how it works, or how it impacts addiction.
Autism isn't an under-wiring of the brain; it's an overwiring of sorts. And once those of us with it figure out what's going on, it's something that can aid in our success.
