Episode description

Many investors are worried about their investment in XRP, created by Ripple Labs.  XRP is under an enforcement action from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which claims that XRP is a security, not a currency.   However, a scathing letter written by the former Chairman of the SEC implies that if former SEC Chair Jay Clayton were to file the enforcement action against XRP, it would mean that the company would have to conclude that Ethereum is a security as well.   The XRP suit has caused many crypto exchanges to delist the currency, costing investors billions of dollars.  Ethereum currently has a market value of $162 billion.  This makes for a very interesting dynamic as the Biden Administration takes over this week.    To see a screenshot of the crypto I own in my portfolio, please visit DrBoyceCrypto.com.
