Today I speak with billionaire Michael Roberts, who will be joining us at the 2022 All Black National Convention.
Michael and his brother Stephen started with very little and are now inspiring millions of people around the world. I love speaking with Michael, who's become a wonderful friend and is also a member of my adopted family in Ghana.
As I speak with Michael, I wonder: Why don't we see bright examples like this in mainstream media? While quite a few black men are setting excellent examples, taking care of their families, achieving goals and reaching amazing heights, America loves to highlight the dysfunctional.
In fact, Michael mentions during the interview that he once piloted a reality show that was rejected because it didn't contain enough drama. This is what America expects of black people, and this is what our media tends to notice the most.
