It's the downbeat on ninety seven to one, the Freak by Champion Hell is frozen the Texas Rangers of your twenty twenty three World Series champions cheers, raise a glass, JJ, get it up, Get that cup up, bet a girl. We are in the cups on the downbeat. I don't care. I don't care either. Four bottles champagn There is nothing wrong with a nice tasty mimosa. Yeah, that's fashing the first couple. We're just straight up champagne, not of a primer. Yeah. We're now, we're in

it to win it. We're in the long Hauls're pacing ourselves or make it the run. We got a party all morning, man, that's the idea. We are sipping champagne. We have songs. We're just gonna give money away out of our pockets. Seriously, we just kick it. We don't have a promotions department, so we're like, I don't know, let's just venmo people money. So at some point the next little bit, we're gonna start spinning the Commissioner's Championship wheel and whatever it lands on we have to do.

And one of the things is Ranger money, where if you call in you have a venmo. We're just gonna tell you money. How much are wed? I think seventy one dollars because the Rangers scored seventy one runs on the road in the playoffs, they were ninety seven one, and we didn't want to give away ninety seven dollars. We'd prefer not seventy one because we don't know how many times a damn wheel is going to land on that thing. We definitely don't want to give away or nine dollars seventy one since think

about that not even worth doing that. Instead, we're not going to be cheap ass, but think about how many people we could do, like fifty people. I see you take a call. That's nothing people. I see coworker, cold call. I see the candy basket. I don't know that is on the Wheel of Champions. That means none of us want candy because there's too much candy. The last couple of days candy it seems like the most disgusting thing, but stolen based. Steve brought up a whole bucket of

candy. So if you if you land on candy basket, you have to get up and go eat candy. I'd rather send a stranger seventy one dollars and eat one more fun size. Prove it if you land on candy baskets, send a stranger another seventy one dollars. Okay, exact one thousand dollars. It's a tough challenge because I will eat the candy instead of just eat seventy one dollars for a fun size that you don't eat to avoid it,

save seventy one bucks, or eat a Tootsie roll like you eat. Okay, every time, I have been talking at ten times out of ten because we say those things all the time. When you wake up at the morning and you're super tired, and you said yourself, oh my god, I would pay somebody five hundred dollars to work for me today, and then the phone rings and it's the fill in guys, five hundred bucks and you're like, yeah, put my shoes on right. Fun. Well, hopefully you're

getting in late to work today, hungover or partying all day whatever. That's the idea here. We're gonna have fun all day long. I promise you. All the other shows on the station are gonna be rocking it all day long as well. But we're gonna go hard until ten o'clock, man Ben and Skin were teasing their thoughts on abortion. Yeah, so like you know, yeah, it's not a full four hour party. Yeah, there's a situation in Pakistan with some I know dude. Julia was tweeting about that last

night. Yeah, at nine to fifty pm did I did, went out to the victims. I did. Lol at your your abortion tweet last night. My favorite part was abortion was he ended the tweet with one of fifty seven one slash fifty seven. This conversation. I actually clicked it. I was like you did, and I would love to hear a man's opinion. Yea, yeah, right. The world's been waiting for Kevin Turner. Kevin Turner had like ten oh five after the Reachers when their first efing world series

in history. That's funny, incredible idiot. But as I mentioned earlier and uh just said now that there's going to be some songs incorporated with today, including a legitimate song that is not it's out of our hands, but we're happy it is because at what nine o'clock sharp, Yeah, nine o'clock, and this is no joke. At nine o'clock, all iHeartMedia platforms, every

radio station in the iHeart Family seven and fifty. I think that paperwork said, yeah, like seven hundred and fifty stations in multiple formats are going to all simultaneously be doing that. Yes they could, because last night they iHeart received the brand new Beatles song, the final ever Beatles song, and they loaded it into the system and it is set to play at straight up nine o'clock today and you can hear it right here on ninety seven one the Freak.

Now, for those of you that may not know what this is, if you remember, I think it was nineteen maybe it was two thousand and five, there were a couple of demos that John Lennon had that Yoko gave to Paul George and Ringo and said, hey, here's some There's like three songs, three demos that John had been working on that were unfinished, and with the technology they had at the time, they were able to lift his

voice from these cassette demos. I mean it was him with a cassette player sitting on his piano and him just doing a demo like I'm trying this song out. But they were fairly fully realized ideas. They just didn't have any instrumentation to them. Well, they took two of those songs in two thousand and five. One of them was called Free as a Bird and one was called I Think Real Love, and they released them as Beatles songs and they

all performed on them. Ringo played drums, Paul played bass, and George played guitar, and they all did harmonies and piano, and they made them actual Beatles songs where the Beatles played together in the studio with John Lennon's voice from like the early mid seventies on it. And they released these two singles. Well, there was one that they just could not get the piano out of. They didn't have the technology at the time to get the piano removed

from these vocals. Okay, Well, fast forward to twenty twenty two, and we remember what happened last Thanksgiving. We had the release of Get Back, the documentary that Peter Jackson did on the Beatles making their final album I Guess next to final album, and the technology had advanced so well that they were able to isolate the vocals from the final John Lennon demo, unfinished demo. Paul and Ringo, the only surviving members of the band, got together.

They had tried working on this in two thousand and five, so there was some George guitar on it. So this is the final Beatles song with all four of them playing on it. We're going to debut it at nine o'clock. So what that leads me to is this. In our post show meeting yesterday was Zach. We were talking about this, and I don't remember it was you, Mikey or Zach or maybe Kevin, but somebody said, man, what if we had a Beatles song, Beatles inspired Rangers song that

we could play tomorrow? Right? And you guys look at me, and I'm like, I'll try to put something together. I don't know if it'll be really good, but I can't play any instruments and I don't know how to make music or do songs. Yeah, I mean, it was natural for us to think of you to do that, just because you're just so perfect at everything. All the heads in the room whip my direction and I said, guys, no, So Mikey sheepishly threw the baton to me,

and I said, okay, fine, I'll bail you out again. But there was a little bit of debate on what to do because we knew that this Beatles song, this brand new Beatles song, which we will premiere today at nine o'clock. You know, do we want to do something that is Ranger related because what if this thing goes to a Game six or a Game seven, or the worst case scenario that they don't win. And at the time we had a big hex on us too about not wanting to jinx anything,

absolutely because we were scared so because of what had happened. Because it's it's true, I mean, technically we're media and you there's must you have to you have to prepare for things, but you can't you know, hex things. Just like we said, the parade has to be discussed prior to the game being over. Of course, media outlets have to say, what are we gonna do if this happens? What's this going to look like?

Everything? And we're on the parade at seven thirty by the way, Yeah, and we had to plan the same, so you do have to. Okay, when they were getting no hit, I'm sitting there going see if they like if they won. We knew we're gonna bring champagne, We're gonna spin the the Commissioner's wheel. We had all these playing and it hit me, like in the no hit sixth inning, I'm like, we didn't discuss any not one thing, one plant if they lose, Like, what's gonna

be on the show tomorrow? So anyway, you have to get ahead of song Corrico eight o'clock. That's all we got. Yeah, So Mikey was like, why don't we do it and just roll the dice, let's gamble, let's do it as if the Rangers won, make a championship song inspired by the Beatles, and lo and behold, they did it and we get to play it now. So before the game five o'clock, I sit down, crack open the computer, get the studio all ready to go. I get the guitars out, and I sit down and I'm like, I don't

even know what to do. So two hours later, I had this thing finished. It's ninety seconds long. It's not a big long song, so you know, I let me put it this way. When I was finished with this, I could not contain my excitement. This is one of the favorite things that I've ever done musically for radio. Almost always Danny's like, oh, I like any song like I did, it's stupid. Whatever play

is, it's fine. So You're gonna hear he was like when he textas, he was like kind of proud of Yeah, yeah, I'm pretty proud of this one. You're gonna hear every damn Beatles cliche in this song as far as their vibe, their musicality. Okay, it's probably maybe this is like maybe Revolver era. I don't know, but let's just play it. This is the Texas Rangers World Series championship song inspired by the Beatles. Here we Go, frankt he even triumph since nineteen seventies, six God Clemson,

eleventh, the cons How are you even? Twenty twenty three? Everythings Away, it's sposed to be Sexes. Rangers just won the Silat Food Lat Food lat Food to two, you are the champions of the world. If yeah, outright? All right, that's fantastic, amazing, that's incredible, fantastic. The layering of the audio jumping over the other one so ridiculous. A couple of things to you, you played all the guitar parts on that, because there's like ones like there's when the guitar parts did too deep in out

go ahead. Well, there's like a second the second guitar comes in at a different time when the first guitar was playing about the forty five to fifty seconds in just the presence of min eye would have been lazy. And so that first guitar part is good enough, and you brought in that other guitar kind of fatting it up. Yeah, what a monster. That's so good?

Does that get you high? I was imagining like all of the Seager home runs in the old bombie moment, like in my head as he that was playing too, I was like, and then I was imagining the parade and that blasting in the crowd yelling the first time you said the Rangers of the World Series Champions. Yeah, it's amazing, And then I hear it and I wish it was so late, you know, by the time we're soaking in all the you know, the end of the game and the postgame.

Like I said, I didn't even I had to go to bed before FS one signed off their broadcast. They were still interviewing dudes, and I just made the executive decision to turn the lights out and try to get some sleep. But like, man, I wish that I could have had some calls over that, you know, Nadell and the Rangers that just won the World Series, you know, just to kind of add emphasis to the song and make it even more cool. Well, maybe somebody else can do that.

If you're an afternoon Drive Danny, you could have done that this morning. It's true. I did send it to Chuck Morgan this morning at like four point thirty. I just said, hey, man, whatever you want to do with this. You know people in audio visual or people that can do video editing. You know, if you want to add some put this underneath a cool montage or add audio to it. Feel free and maybe that could be on a little Ranger's anthem. Now playing Danny Bayless, Danny is

actually better than the Beatles. They broke up a long time. That slaps. Great job, Danny. I sent that to I sent that to Chris Holt last night before the game started. Chris Holt is a really good friend of all of ours. He is uh, he plays with the Heartbreakers, he played with Bob Dylan recently. He's he was in the Hard Night to Day, the Beatles tribute Act for a million years. And I sent that to him and I and I said, man, we're gonna play this tomorrow

if this team actually wins. His sucker tonight and I go, I think it kind of slaps, and he and I told him, I go, it does sound like a I made a Beatles song, because it's like all of the Beatles tricks in one tune in ninety seconds. And he's like he, you know, to get a compliment from him, He's like, dude, this does actually slap, but it does sound a lot like AI. You know, like like you just typed in make a Beatles song and that's

what you end up getting. It's unmistakable. You know, it's supposed to be, you know, the Beatles, ish but beautiful. I got hold, I got, I got Holt approval. Yeah, I'll take you, Yeah totally. My whole musical career is just to get Chris Holt to think my stuff's good. Yeah, send you a thumbs up emoji. Awesome. Let's go. So coming up next, let's talk about details of the parade, what's going to happen there, And let's spend that wheel for the first

time, the Commissioner's wheel and find out what we have to do. Could you a listener just win money by us spending a wheel? Calls talkbacks all welcome too, and four eight when seven, seven, eight seven one, ninety seven one The Ranger Party continues next on ninety seven one, The Freak
