I didn't get much hair a little bit overnight. But the big stuff which is happening at like seven pm last night up in yeah, Prosperuslana No Big Ben
Territory. Wait, I don't think that's Big Bet. Oh big Ben. I used to call that Big Bend. I didn't get touched by any of that weather until sometime between I don't know, midnight and four, and it was just a little bit. It's a pretty good rain. Woke up, it was loud, and I think there was hail. Yeah, I got a little hail, small hale. You know, I did last night first maybe first time ever. So I don't even know what time halftime was,
ten o'clock. Halftime was, yeah, ten thirty. You know, sometimes when you do the shift, you'll wake up and like panic, like am I late? You know, and you check your clock. Hell, now go back to bed four more hours, right, I had that. I looked at my phone in a panic, and it was eleven thirty. Damn. It was the first time I had the pre midnight wake up. It did look extra rested today. Really, yeah, I did the I watched until half and then like, you know what, I'm going to take a
shower tonight as opposed to in the morning. Took the shower, got in bed. It's like, I'm just gonna check in, just see, you know, they're probably somewhere in the middle of the third and it's close, and then it gets to like eleven. The MAVs are down by eleven,
and they close it to within two at the end of the third. I stuck all the way through the third quarter and went into the fourth until it was about eleven ten, and I realized, if I don't shut this damn thing off, I knew it was gonna happen, because it got back down to like an eight point deficit, Like they're going to keep this thing close, but they just don't have enough to finish this game with a win. And it's exactly what happened. I mean, what they lose by six.
I think ultimately I turned it off and just trusted in my thunder, my Oklahoma City thunder, that they were going to do what they were expected to do, and went to sleep. You got around five ish, less than five hours of sleep. But I tried, and I'm telling you had had it been tied at that point, there's a greater than zero chance that I
would have stuck with it till the end and just suffered. Today did the thing where I stipped till halftime and then watch the first part of the third quarter, and then when they which to break halfway through the third quarter, I said, you know what, tend to get up, lay the clothes out like I always do in the other room, you know, so I'm not noisy in the morning. Five. I don't want to wake her up. Oh okay, Yeah, it's a courteous thing. I'm going to wear
my pretty green pants with my red hood. Yeah. You wear the same thing every day though, pretty much. Put my keys, my wallet, and my pills and my hat. You know, you put them in your hat. Yeah. So I got a whole whole You got a method, and it's all based on not waking her up. It's kind it's yeah, it's a nice thing. You don't kiss her goodbye when you leave. Hell, no, she don't want that. So if I leave without doing that, it's it's like, wait, why did you leave? You didn't we go with the nice and a hug and have a great day. Yeah, that's why we don't. Okay, so you're standing in the living room brushing teeth, about to go to bed, watching game, and you know what, I'm gonna watch fourth quarter in bed, lay down in bed, and full narcalliptic. Kevin took about two minutes. I was out. Yeah. Gone, This is the good thing of narcolepsy. You're done real quick. You
get any type of comfortable position, you're done. I'll tell you what though, considering that they were what nine and a half point underdogs going into that game, or ten and a half maybe at some point, and they because they didn't have Luca, and the way they were kind of dropping like flies and coming in and coming back out and losing guys throughout the game. I'm impressed. I'm really impressed that they were able to keep that game that close.
They led in two of the quarters. The MAVs did. They gave it too much in the other two, But I mean that was not They played really hard. Oklahoma City's awesome and they're so good, and I would love to play them in the playoffs. Yeah, I think in a long series you'd fare a lot better than a one off on the road up there, especially when they had the revenge factor in place. Yeah, I do. I absolutely think. I think full strength. Absolutely, I think we
beat them full strength. I'm not kidding. Yeah A in a series, Yes, I do. I really do, way more. That would way more other have them than the Clippers or the clearly the Nuggets. But do they consider us their biggest rival? I always wondered that thunder fan else would there be for them to and all I think I was just winning that comeback when twenty eleven knocking them out when they were really good. And I was the last time they were Katie Russell and James Harden and Ebaka, and that
think was that team was loaded. They were young though they were young, and that's why I want yeah, and and they're gonna be young and good again, and that's why I kind of want them now, which is weird, but out Luca. You know, obviously, I think anything from PJ. Washington last night, which if John eleven, yeah he's oh for seven from three, that dude's icy. Yeah, but then that what what how good He's been transferred over to Little Timmy because he finally showed up and Kyrie,
Dude, when Luca doesn't play, it's incredible. You forget he is an elite starting point guard for any team in the world. And because he plays with seventy seven, you just forget. He's one of the best basketball players on the plant like ten definitely right when he wants to go past you, he just does it. Yep. Oh, I love him. And when he starts the game and is handling the ball when he's in there as
opposed to the role that he's playing. You know, when Luca's in there, it's clear he's he's every bit damn near every bit as good as Luka Tancic if he was bringing the ball up every time. Dude, he's great.
I mean, they're different, different players, different skill sets, but I mean it's there's no reason why the difference is is Kyrie ain't going to ever get the rebound numbers that Luca does, and he's probably not ever going to get the assist numbers because he is so great at creating his own shot from anywhere on the on the floor. But it's amazing. Man, every game that he's played where he's had to start and Luca's been out, it's
insane. His numbers are damn near forty. His point totals are damn near forty every time. Part of me expected them to win because of that. And I don't think there's beef of any kind. I think they love Luca and Kyrie included. They all look at Luca on some level like he's a witch, you know. I mean these are all we say, had a thousand times all the best by far, players from their town and their college, you know. I mean, these dudes are incredibly good players, and
I think they look at Luca like you can't deny he's just better. But when he's not there, I think they all, Kyrie being the the number one, want to step up and show remind you you know that it's not just the Lucas show here. I think the team as a whole too. I think they're I think they're closet runners. I think this team, when Luca's out of the game, I think they love to fast break and they love to run. And they've got some athletic bigs, yeah that can move,
and they've got some court runners as well, they can finish. I think when Luca's out of the game is like, all right, let's go, let's go. Let's let's go. Let's go like dad who does everything, brings home all the money. His Dad's not here today, because honestly, they're probably mostly all used to it. That a closer style of basketball to that sure, more like their whole lives. I think they want to run with Luca, except when Luca gets tired. And Luca, I don't
think Luca gets tired because he's not conditioned. I think Luca gets tired because he does everything. Yeah, that's why That's why I think happens there and I think that's when the game stops is when Luca's over there going money. the DAK situation. The Dallas Police said that on Wednesday night they received a report on Tuesday about an alleged sexual assault in twenty seventeen in the parking lot of XTC Cabaret. I didn't really I didn't play it. Another speakeasy played it. I didn't really want to play it. I felt weird about it for whatever reason. But that WFA had an interview with the accuser and they did not modify her voice. They just blocked her face out and she kind
of told a little bit of herst sight. She didn't go into a lot of graphic details, but she did say a few things in an SUV. Didn't you say she was raped? I shouldn't say it like that, Because the lawyer said it like that and that powerful sentence. It seems like that should not say like that. Only in extreme cases do you even hear that word used anymore? It's always sexual assault now, I agree, but that's why I was shocking that the lawyer did say it knowing that it is.
That is a reset word. The accuser said, Prescott pulled my pants down and the pants weren't even off my legs, so it's just an awkward position and it was heavy. But what it was very strange.
