If the Rangers series goes to three games, they could play at two, they could play at six, they could play at seven. A lot of

It's gonna be a hell of a fun night. Of course it will be Christina Oatmeal Pizza kicks the thing off. I just learned that. Yeah, yeah, we got the itinerary, their scheduled down and they're they're starting things off, I believe, at seven thirty,
then Brand New Funk and then Quaker City Nighthawks. It's gonna be a big fun night, big fun day if you get out there before I think you mentioned this, if you get out there before six pm free, So yeah, it costs nothing. Fit the schedule this says happy Hour slash Brand New Funk from six to seven thirty, so fun probably just be doing more of a house getting going. And then Hopebill Pizza seven thirty and then Brand New Funk is and the Quicker City night Hawks at nine o'clock. And I'm just
telling it, get there before six if you can. I know, people have to work in this world. It's in downtown Dallas, but it is going to be a heck of a fun time and we want to hang out and see y'all and tell you thank you, because you know, we know we don't exist without you out there listening to us and supporting us and tells your friends. And it's tough to get a station going on our one year anniversary and Danny didn't join the station until late November early December. Correct,
But today is our winner, your anniversary. And the fact that we're still here is great, never really a doubt in my mind. But the fact that we had to leave the building because rats infested the iHeart building and we had to go spend you know, when you're a new station and you're working with the skeleton crew like we are, and then they're like, yeah, you gotta leave the building. Guys. That happened to us like a month and like the second month of our existence. So I'm not doing the whole
thing like whoe is us. I'm just saying we've been through some stuff, and I think a part of it's all just the fun and games of launching our radio station, and we do need to stop every once in a while and celebrate with y'all and with us, and I'm glad we're doing that Thursday night. I can't wait. I can't wait to see some familiar faces, some friends that we've made. It's that's one really cool things is you know, you get to go to these remotes. We don't get to go to
them that often anymore now that we're on mornings. But when I went to like Andrew's American Pizza Kitchen, popped over there after our show one day, and Ben and Skin were there. Just seeing the familiar faces, the people that have kind of been there with us from the beginning, that have that have shown up to these events. It's gonna be awesome to see that whole
group together this Thursday because we've made some i mean literally made friends. You know, it's one thing to make maybe meet if somebody that likes the station or listens to the station, and then you don't really see them that often, but we've there are people that come to damn near every road show that interact with us on our text threads. There's people that have our phone numbers that we you know, just our buddies with now and it's really really cool
and to have that kind of connection and have those types of relationships. Happened just after one year of a station starting from scratch, literally from scratch, a brand new format, a group of people that as a collective have never worked together before, just kind of some misfits and and maybe misunderstood personalities from around this market that you know, may not have had an opportunity to get their shot at other spots and came together in this in this cool kind of
little family that we've created. And I love everybody that work up here, and I really enjoy the people that we've had an opportunity and good fortune to meet and kind of break that wall and cross those you know, cross over those lines to kind of build real relationships with cool people. And I look forward to seeing each and every one of you guys on Thursday. It's gonna
be a blast. And I like also, like it's not everyone's gonna most people have to work on Friday too, So we get all that come out and do what you want, like, if you can handle it, have a great time. But you know, well, no one's telling you got to stay out till midnight or anything like that, So I just get but if you can make it and just come see us. Whatever it is.
It's free if you're there before six pm. There could be a wild Ranger game wild card element that's thrown into this too, I mean, because we'll have that on the TV's if we can at the Echo Lounge and then we've got music playing and it'll be the headlining thing, but we'll have that going
on as well, if that's happening. I don't if the Rangers play at two o'clock on Thursday, depending on the other series, if they play it too, I'm just gonna go out there in the middle of the day and watch the Rangers hang out with some of the early birds because it's fun to do that type of sure, and tell your friends and tell your family, and like if there's people who are on the fits end though, everyone's got friends who are like tied to other stations, because there's a lot of us
have worked at other stations. Just ho, hey, give us a chance, just come to this thing with us. We'd love to meet all these people and you know, tell them to give us a shot a little bit. And another thing is you don't have to worry about grabbing dinner beforehand. A lot of people may not be familiar with downtown Dallas. It's not really downtown. It's kind of like in the Design district. Yeah, if you think of where the AAC is, it's right across thirty five just west,
and parking is not an issue. It's in that big MAVs facility parking lot, so there's going to be a ton of parking. And the kitchen at Echo Lounge is top notch. I've had the food there a couple on a couple of occasions, and every time it's wonderful, fantastic. Yeah, yeah, everything's right there for you. Just come out early, get some get some dinner, stick around, watch some great music, hang out with Kat.

Him and the coach kind of getting a fight through the tablet at each other. It was rough. You
everyone thought the Microsoft surface at your coach, actually at him. Of the three games that I watched, I saw two frames this weekend, including last night, I saw two franchises that have put a lot into their quarterback situation or a lot of they have a lot of hopes in their quarterback situation with Daniel and Mac, and those are two franchises that are scratching their heads going, dang, is this our guy? At least we haven't paid him yet. Yeah, that's true, that's true. But in the NFL, it
should just remind you. You may say what you want about Dak, you better feel damn lucky you got him, because the Cowboys could be in the same boat as a lot of those middle of the road NFL teams that are looking at that position, going Jesus, you don't want to live in that way. You don't want to live in that world, I promise you. This is first quarter of the Manning cast. There they're debating the Giants tried the Eagles quarterback sneak that they do. It didn't work well, and we

It always just kind of has that vibe when you watch those
guys together. It has its fair share of cringe worthy moments, for sure, but it's three and a half hours with guys that don't really do on the game subs. It's interesting. And I saw someone tweet have you ever heard broadcasters more ready to go home than Joe and Troy? But I wasn't watching the normal one, but I could just imagine Joe and Troy going good. God, gosh, it's bad. Yeah, it's such a such a waste of talent. The A team of the NFL is relegated to dumb Monday
night games, which are usually bad. Anyway, I like him on Sundays on still a quick college clean up Texas I'll use this weekend. I'm gonna be more on that layer in the week Maybe. I don't know. Texas is currently number three. If Georgia was kind of farting around number one, Texas might have a case to be number one. And I'm not one of those like Longhorns people, but they take a case and Texas Ocahomer are both pretty good. I'm not a Longhorn person either, but the world, the
college football world is better when UT is consistently decent. I would say both of them when they're in the conversation. Yeah, and I love that they're ranked that high. I love that they're right now a playoff team. It's been way too long no, and this is like, this will be fun and this this game will be These teams are going to go the SEC. So it's kind of a weird vibe in the conference and everyone's kind of turned their back on them, which they should Texas, but thanks, But they
kind of have a case to be number one. And I'll see if they get a big boost if they beat Oklahoma. That's that. Colorado USC was nuts just that game. They were dead. Yeah. Uh. My favorite college game day signed this week was I just should dured my pants as a guy just a holding up a sigh, some dork and I just should dured my pants. It was nice to see Colorado show up after just getting annihilated.

Good lord, you knew that that, you know that you knew that ship was going to come back to Earth eventually, but it was cool to see you know that, Maybe I don't know, there's something there, man, there's definitely something that. It's what I'm saying is it's not all just hype, It's not all just Deon pomp
and circumstances. That's a pretty damn good team. Yeah, and it's going to be cool to watch the evolution of this Deon experiment and we'll see how they handle like more average teams, Oregon and Vus here are really good. I hope that he isn't seduced by head coach openings in the NFL. I mean, I hope he's I want to see him do this for a couple
of years. I think he'll verily end up as as getting a head job in the NFL, But I do want to see him see this Colorado thing through, to see if he could bring that program up to a playoff contender. And I think it's in. I think it is so such a realistic expectation. Yeah, seeing what he's done in year one, how competitive they huh transfer portal. If you do stays, they're gonna probably be a top team next year. Yeah, I can guarantee that people are gonna leave,

But I just thought that was so funny when I saw it. The other one real quick and I'm gonna why did that

So he's calling the plays in and he was doing the kind of pinching his nips okay as part of the play, and a lot of people were offended, not me, and he had to apologize not looking just only at our players on tape, looking at myself on tape, you know, in regards to how we signal plays at the the end communicate gotta gotta do things better there. So for those I offended with that, I apologize. I
won't be using that signal again. He's not gonna milk anymore, okay, because what is the reason, you know, okay with any signal maybe saying hey, we're gonna milk the cock here, milk the clock, milk the clock.
