He's one of the Sleepers to might might maybe take the Best Actor, But like I said when he watched it, in the film, he has a lazy eye, okay, and oftentimes an ailement of some kind. It helps you and your OSCAR nominations. I don't think of contact. Lenn should do a physical Sorry, maybe he did it.

Yes, you love that one. I loved Past Lives. Very simplistic movie and plot, but it's just the writing in it and it is just amazing, and it's it's a great story. Uh. And last one, maestro, Yes, and you saw that just this week right, I did, and I liked it. I really did. I read those Bradley Cooper directed. It did a great job. It felt like at times that the I was kind of watching the stage play in the way that they were doing some
of the camera shots at the beginning. I don't think I'm giving too much a way. I think it's in the trailer, but the half of the first half of the film starts off in black and white and then it transferred into color, so it's almost like you're following like the Yeah, yeah, it's the times of when color TV. I guess back in the day. But I read those ten films in order of odds to win, and you may call this might be you may spoiler alert because the odds are so head.
These are Vegas odds that Oppenheimer wins Best Picture. It's not even close. Zone of interest in Poor Things are twenty to one. That's second and third. Oppenheimer minus five thousand, it's winning Best Picture. Do you agree with that? Juju's gonna Do you think it should? Yes? I do? All right? Lead Actor, I mean I have I don't want to read all these, but well now read Best Actor. Killian Murphy, Paul Giamatti, Bradley Cooper, Jeffrey Wright, Coleman Domingo comment on Killian Murphy,
and he was great, very good. I can't get over Paul Giamatti standing in front of the camera and the director saying, all right, you're ready, Paul, and he goes, yeah, I'm ready. He goes that grits his teeth and his eye jets off to the right. That's the most amazing trick. Uh killian a pretty very not as heavy as often I have a win Best Picture, but have pretty heavy favorite to win Bestie There.
Yeah, Best Lead Actress. We have Lily Gladstone for Killers, Emma Stone, Poor Things, Sandra Huller Anatomy, Carry Mulligan, Maestro, Anette Benning Naiad. I can only comment on one of those, but Lily Gladstone was great. That category is a lot closer into what people think. As much as people are trying to say, like Lily Gladstone is gonna run away with it. A lot of people throwing him. Emma Stone in there, which is very much so like agreeable because she's amazing Important Things, I really do.
I think Lily Gladstone is gonna take it, but Emmastone. Important Things is something to watch. You're right on it really is. Lily Gladstone is a slight favorite miss one seventy five, but Emma's plus one twenty five, which means that's like a good UFC fight. Either one could win. The remaining three are long long shots, so that's a two horse race. The rewards season, I think they were kind of split. Yeah, like I think Lily too, the critics and go Globes and the Yeah, it's it's
gonna be interesting to see what happens. Best Supporting we got Robert Downey for oppenheim Er, Ryan Gosling for Barbie, Robert Denier a lot of ours, Robert de Niro for Killers, Mark Ruffalo, poor Thing, Sterling, K Brown American Fiction hands down. My question this is gonna be Robert give it to Ryan guy unanimous. He's I think he's taken every every award awards that
he's been nominated for, every award show. He was excellent. I was shocked by that because I'm excited for him, because he's got a great I mean, he's got a great story. Was a first for him. Yeah, it's not his first nominations, his first, it's gonna be his first win. He's one of the probably like M's favorites to win. His odds are insane to win. He's gonna win. Best Supporting Actress, also insane odds for the one who's gonna win. And and you and I disagree with
this. I think we have divine Joy Randolph from The Holdovers, Emily Blunt Oppenheimer Danielle Brooks Color Purple, America Ferrera, Barbie, Jody Foster, Naiad. I love Divine Joy, and I hardly mean this. I love Divine Enjoy and I ran off and I'm excited that this is like a year for But I don't agree with her being like the unanimous for this. I really
think this category should have been a lot closer than it is. Emily Blunt is the sleeper in Oppenheim rot that she gave one of the best performances of the year and the movie that most that they've Warner Brothers I think have backed
the way of campaigning was Danielle Brooks in The Color Purple. She was amazing in the Color Purple, and I thought that film even maybe possibly a best picture him too, But yeah, Danny Ollebrooks was probably it was also like supporting actress was also a top of my favorite performances of twenty twenty three. So but Divine Joy, she's she is, She's gonna run away with it, this is this is pretty much that's done deal. I haven't seen no
one say differently, and I disagree. I thought she was awesome. I thought she kind of stole the movie. She was like a breath afresh. Yeah, throughout a very quiet movie, and I thought she was really good and well acted. And Emily Blood I was watching, Okay, Emily Blood did like nothing for most of that movie. And then she had that one scene at the table because I even asked Christina, I'm like, what,
how is she nominated for anything? And then fine, that one scene was pretty badass when she bowed up to the people who are Yeah, and that's something that we talked about. I talked about when it comes to the supporting actor category, need one good scene, which is why America Ferrera is no. Maybe because let's be real, like agreed, she was in Barbie, but the way she delivered the monologue, yeah, I don't think any of
us would have a problem. She wanted just on that one scene, right, Yeah, that's how Yeah, supporting I mean because I believe I think Viola Davis a few years ago was nominated for Best Supporting Actors that she was in a movie for about thirteen minutes. Okay, I had one scene with Meryl Street. Doesn't got a non Barbie that was doubt doesn't Barbie need to
win something? Barbie will probably take Production design or Best Song or makeup and probably best song really, isn't he Ryan got performing Apparently he's bringing like sixty men with him on stage. He's performing picks with Glenn's on the show. Glenns, I'm sorry. This is like the running joke that this this song was not supposed to be and you can tell it's special. So there's big numbers that Oppenheimer is just gonna it's that's it's gonna take everything. Yeah, it's almost pointless to do any kind of pool or wager on this because
I have a hard time picking anything but Oppenheimer to win. Yeah, and I think the Oscars take it a little more. I don't know, they're a little more hardcore and you can get like a big sweep like this in the Oscars where I think the others, the globes, Emmy's maybe they kind of balance it, balance it out to let everybody get a ribbon. You know, it seems it seems that way. Do you know how the voting
works, Well, I know, there's there's an academy. There's a board, like there's actors and directors amongst the peers, like their peers are a part of the Academy of the Boar, and they get to vote. Everyone's broken off into different categories that they vote for. They vote privately. I don't know exactly when they have to vote by, but yeah, that's you know, when you hear people getting kicked out the academy, that's what they're
getting, basically kicked out. And it's being one of the voters with the with the Golden globes. It's so funny because people crap on the Golden Globes because they claim that it's just uh, you know, a favorite awards Like it's like, whoever their favorites are is the ones are going to win.
But that's award show really sets the tone of the awards is it's the first awards show of the year and people don't really take it that series because of the Hollywood for press, but you kind of get an idea of how the awards He's gonna go with that awards of course, and then you got the critics, the SAgs and even the Baptists, which is the British basically the British academies that they all take faith. They all take that Also, why
Vegas essentially knows who's gonna win. It's like exit polling. You know who the people that voted are. And it's not like a political thing where if someone asks you, you're like, oh, sure, I'll tell you, but you will be surprised. You'll get surprised. I don't think they're going to sweep like everything everywhere at once. Still. Last year, yeah, I say everything, everyone was going to take everywhere it was nominated for, and they did. I don't think Oppenheimber is going to be the same this
year. There's going to be an interesting surprise of a winner. It's Sunday night the Oscars and five pm. Five pm is our pre Oscar show on Instagram Live.
