I actually have some audio from some of these late night hosts who've been to a podcast at nine o'clock. It's very interesting, including the time Batman tried to kill Jimmy Kimmel, at the time Jim Belushi and mister He got in a fight. They had to take it off the air. I mean, it's pretty nuts, and other things as well. That's really good.

US launched a new streaming service called Nighttime Plus. Okay, Las Vegas Nights Nighttime Plus, and they're gonna
live stream sixty nine regular season games. I'm assuming they have thirteen nationally televised games scheduled, so they're gonna live stream sixty nine regular season games, and fans can purchase a full season pass to Nighttime Plus for sixty nine ninety nine or single games for six dollars and ninety nine cents. So my question is, let's just make it about the Ranger, about the Mavericks. If they did MAVs Plus, and so let's say the average had thirteen national TV games,
which they probably will apply of colustion to twenty. But they said sixty nine games will stream on MAVs Plus and it'll be sixty nine ninety nine. We don't pay that right A dollar a game? Yeah? It a heartbeat, yep. This is interesting. This news streaming app can be downloaded on Apple TV, Amazon, Fire TV, Roku, and then they also got a web version, a Nighttime Plus. If you just want to pull it
up on your computer or phone, that's probably a little cheaper. So sixty nine ninety nine for your full season without dealing with any mess with another bigger
company. Awesome. So this is the template that they're thinking. I think so all the teams that are mired in this muck, which may be why Cuban has been because the question that I've always had somebody that much influence, that deeply connected into the league and without much money, that when we've asked him about this whole Bally's thing in the past, it's like, can you please do something about this? He's always kind of like put his hands in the air and go, man, he can't. I wish that I could.
I wish that, but I know that he says that, and it is probably true. But the skeptic in me he says, yeah, but you're Mark Cuban. I got to be able to do something about this. It doesn't affect us too much, but all nationally broadcasted nights games will be a shunt of the NHL partners. The ESPN and Turner Sports will not stream on Nighttime Plus, and sometimes they out of nowhere
go, hey, we're moving this to a national TV broadcast. But maybe you know that up front when you pay your full season fee, fans must be located within the nights television territory. For Las Vegas, that's Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, in certain counties in California, Nebraska, and Arizona. So whatever they deemed the Mavericks or Stars television territory would
only be the people. So you got a friend in North Carolina, up in California or whatever, Buffalo, New York wants to watch the Stars, they couldn't. But man, I kind of think this is the way. The Jazz and the Suns are also debuting streaming services as well, so yeah, they're just tricking us through into another way to spend seventy dollars. On this case, it's not because we used to just get every game included and now now we're happy too. Oh wow, seventy dollars. Well, you
did have to pay more. You have to pay for a higher priced, a higher tier package, whether you're using Hulu Plus or YouTube or direct tv to get all of the Fox sports networks that didn't come with the base cable package. They say your base cable was fifty bucks. You had to pay an extra probably twenty twenty nine to get all of that others. This this is what chaps my ass. You got to go back to the days and
this existed. But psview, which is the YouTube TV of its time, YouTube TV bought PSU, the PlayStation view psview, which you did not have to have a PlayStation four worst marketing ever calling that putting the words PlayStation Yeah, the TV streaming platform was the stupidest thing that could ever do. But you could need a console. I don't want to play video games. You
got the game for whatever you paying for PSV. You you got fuck Sports Southwest at the time with it, So yeah, you know what you're saying it's right, Mike, You're still paying for it. Yeah, but yeah, but I think it's less. It could be wrong here. I want to step in it. I think it's less about what people are paying for it and more about the ease of getting it. For many people, the idea of I can't just turn my TV on and get it for a dollar
a game. People will pay whatever if they care enough or if they don't care enough, they can do want to do select games, and you can map it out, and you can look at a schedule, even for those budgeting types and go, well, I but you know in their model of six ninety nine, that's a little price. Ten games is seventy bucks. So they're they're asking you to get on for this full season ride at a
very nice discount. And I feel so weird to sit it or head home and be like, oh, maybe I'll purchase the game tonight for seven dollars. Because sometimes you watch I mean, you're not locked in completely, you know, you check it, you jump around a little bit, pending on what ever else is on that you're watching. It just feels weird. Yeah, for any sport, not a pay per view of I have to make this decision and click this. And the one thing that makes it also kind
of weird, and you know, we haven't had this. I don't know the smoothness of changing channels since we you know, basically had channels. But now pretty much, if you want to watch something, you're you're kind of committed to what you're watching unless you want to shut down that app and open up another platform. So you're watching something on YouTube, you know, now
you've got to go. You gotta exit that app and then start up the MAVs app or the Valley's app or whatever if you want to watch a game, and that that kind of does keep you from the back and forth switching. Yeah, with the ease of being able to do so, Yeah, that's one thing that's kind of a pain in the But about having all these fragmented yeah because its quick view, Yeah, class channel. Sure, Yeah, bye bye a better time. Las Vegas doesn't have a uh you know,
the Las Vegas Nights don have a basketball pairing. The Stars and MAVs could team up here, yeah and save everyone a lot of money just charging eighty bucks and move on, right, I mean that's well, we gotta let the Baally's thing run out. Eventually, you know, before they can do anything. Because Las Vegas Knights got out of their ballot deal or Diamond Sports Group deal. They exited it. So I mean, it's on the table if you're ready to transition to something else. What did it cost them
