I don't know, No, you're right, I mean maybe there are Vermont is Montpelier, and then what New Hampshire's Concord. New Hampshire and what so, but all the once you get up there, Yeah, what's the second biggest city? Kind of a fun trivia game, that would be second biggest city in all these states,
and I think, I, yeah, I don't know the population. Go ahead, but forty thousand of a near forty thousand for Lewistown. Okay, that's what I'm saying. The second biggest city is forty thousand. That's about the size of mid Lothian. There are few years of the death toll growing in Lewiston, Maine.
Tonight, with nearly two dozen people believed to be dead after two mass shootings. Fifty to sixty others are reportedly heard. This happened about thirty miles north of Portland, Maine. The two sites include a bowling alley and a restaurant about four and a half miles apart. Right now, the entire county is on lockdown as police search for the gunman. I would have thought that Portland and Augusta, Maine were the two biggest cities in Maine, not Lewiston,
and Newport is the second biggest city when we've heard of that. Okay Newport, Yeah that makes sense. What's happening? Is there two now two shooters? No, it's one guy. They think the man I'm interested is forty year old Robert Card. They did have a security footage video of him wearing
a brown hooded sweatshirt carrying a military style semi automatic rifle. Late last night they had a vehicle of interest eight miles from Lewiston in the town of Lisbon, and they basically got a shelter in place order for everyone today closed schools in that area, that Cluse schools colleges. First, he went to Just in Time Recreation, a bowling alley with twenty two lanes. A bowling alley that, by the way, just in case anyone wanted to know, they
do birthday parties with unlimited soda, which that's pretty cool. I mean, yeah, just every place does unlimited soda. I guess, well, not necessarily a bowling alley. I think you should go up and refill it. The free refills typically standard with soda at fast food joints m H. I don't know about bowling als, I don't know. Yeah, how did you find that out? Yeah? That in the story what's at the website? Okay Itch restaurant offers Nacho's Wings and Potatoes Press, well known for their unlimited
soda only at birthday parties. Naucho's Wings and Potato skins the classic bowling food. Now. A local there said, look, this is a popular place for local teenagers and there's a good chance kids, children and teenagers were there who knows Wednesday night, but obviously and they have tons of bowling leagues kingpin style. Then he goes in there shoots at least seven people shot and killed at least seven people there. Here's a guy, this is a witness here.
And here's what this guy did when the shooter came in. This is pretty wild, snowing light of bowling and out of nowhere. He just came in and there was a loud popped and as soon as I turned and saw, you know it was not a balloon, he was holding a weapon. I just booked it down the lane and I slid basically into where the pins are and climbed up in the machine and was on top of the machines for
about ten minutes until the cops got there. Dude took a running down the lane, slid into the pin machine, which feels dangerous, feels like you can get crushed doing but that is really awesome, And I mean that's what That's what I would do, right. Bowling alleys are weirdos layout right, like you don't know where you are and it's a big, wide open room. You go trucking down the thing. I mean, it's it's a heady move. It feels risky in itself because of what you said. Yeah,
he get crushed. What's the alternative? You know? Yeah? Rough? So then he takes off and goes to Schminghy's a barred gal four miles away from that bowling alley and starts blowing down people there. So they're having another news conference this morning at nine thirty am for another update. It is believed that over fifteen people have died. It is believed that fifty or sixty years injured. Is believed that the death count will continue to rise throughout the morning.
And he's still on the lamp. Yep, he is loose. Boy. That's so, yeah, isn't that? I don't know, maybe I'm definitely an idiot, But isn't it pretty rare that the shooter and these big cases gets away with it for even x amount of time? Yeah, much less drive four miles away to a nearby bar. Right, every racket. I mean, the fact that he was able to drive well four miles away. Yeah, but just the catching off guard of anyone, especially in this
place, in the state where those numbers are very low. Didn't he almost match the damn yearly death toll for the state, for the state, Yeah, yeah, for the state. I think they had twenty nine murders last year, firearm homicide, just homicides, just total homicides in the state of Maine. I think last year was some We're around twenty nine, and I believe that there was a last night somebody cited a source inside the police department
saying that twenty two were confirmed dead. This was late last night. Yeah, I kept seeing that too. But yeah, fifteen or sixteen, I think is where we're officially up. Brutal, brutal. They do you have you got information on Robert Card Do you have much on him? Uh? All right, he's forty years old. They police seemed to believe they know about his vehicle, the make model. I actually they've confirmed that they know what vehicle he would be driving. He's former military and threatened to do some
type of mass shooting online recently and health issues. So I mean, how many times does that narrative have to be replayed these people? You know, I don't want to speculate, but from the facts that are presented, it's not difficult to to assume that, you know, this guy probably suffers from some mental health stuff and probably in all likelihood didn't get the help that he needed, or maybe he didn't seek it out. I don't know a lot of things. I don't know, man, There's a lot of people have
done like should go online and see what they can find. And there's also when these things happens, the name gets out, people go make troll accounts on social media too. There was a Robert card account that has been taken down, but it went private like before everything happened last night. But I could just be someone who made one, or that could not be true, like because social media is just so unfiltered. They do believe it is a
white twenty thirteen Suparu Outback. Correct was the car that they found near Lisbon. They found a US intelligence document. The Telegraph is reporting and he's described by police as armed dangerous. Is a military trained firearms instructor, which if he was only in that bowling alley for ten minutes before the police arrived, and they're claiming that there's up to twenty two deaths and up to sixty people
injured, you know, obviously those are not confirmed numbers. That would I don't know, correlate with the idea that this dude's a pretty good shot, not to be insensitive, but trained firearms instructor. I mean, that's a big Yeah, that's a big casualty account for that limited amount of time where
after the first couple of shots, people are scrambling. Yeah, you know, it's not just like target practice, Yeah, where people are just stationary, they're proud of their reloading and all this stuff they show up that defines them. He had been committed to a mental health facility for two weeks in
the summer. Details were not provided about his treatment or condition. He reported hearing voices and it threatened to carry out a shooting at the military training base at uh I don't know how to pronounce this, Soako or seko Maine or Sasso s a CEO. What do you do? What do you do in that case? Because yes, in the hindsight, anytime this happens, and then you look at the trail of breadcrumbs that scream that this dude was about
to do something like this, But you can't. You can't be proactive enough to apprehend anyone who says anything like that or put them under some surveillance that it's just not realistic. The suv link to him had been abandoned at a boat launch in Lisbon Falls, so they've got the car, so he has another car probably or he's he's on foot. I would, yeah, I would assume that this guy former military weapon, professional weapons instructor. This guy's
probably got pretty decent survival skills. So who knows how long this could go on. But they've got hundreds of main officers searching for this dude or could have done himself in too somewhere. That's nuts, man, I don't even know. I mean, they're giving us a big update at nine thirty on this. It's hard to go Usually say, I want to only say things that you know are true. There was rumors of it being that there was a youth tournament that was being held there last night, at that bowling alley.

I was reading about Lewiston, the city in Maine where I think the bowling alley was. It's about thirty five miles north of Portland, and I guess in recent years, like Maine is the whitest state in the nation, is it yep? And a number of years ago this town, Lewiston emerged as a major center for African immigration into Maine and the Somali population they have numbers in the
thousands there. That's actually changed the demographics of what was an overwhelmingly white mill city into one of the most diverse in northern New England. I don't know if that has any play into it, but I texted you, Mikey. It's like you could almost assume the narrative here, or assume the motive here if that was in fact, kids a diverse community out on a you know, bowling on a nice Wednesday night, and this genius is gonna really start
